Reblogging a bunch of old CATCF fan art cuz it's cool and more ppl need to see this
Here’s another two pieces of art drawn by @boggleseal/ @effae for my Charlie and the Chocolate Factory retelling, this time depicting scenes from my hypothetical retool of the musical version (I’m very grateful she decided to depict my versions of the deleted characters, Marvin Prune and Miranda Mary Piker, since she did something similar with her versions of the characters).
If you want to read the long version of what’s going in both drawings, I suggest you read up the parts describing them in my ideas for my “dream retool”. For the short version of each:
For Marvin Prune (described as being a “very conceited boy”, by Roald Dahl, so I re-imagined him as being a vapid teen celebrity), he’s being interviewed by the press on his finding of a Golden Ticket, and they’re disturbing him right in the middle of his “beauty rest”.
For Miranda, her interview goes a little out of hand, and it suddenly turns into a number similar to that of “The Hammer” from Matilda the Musical, complete with a military riding crop turning into a gymnastic ribbon (and yes, as some of you who follow me know, she is related to Agatha Trunchbull, explaining her tyrannical nature and obsession with school and rules).
That’s for now, but I’m hoping to share more content with you all soon.

I’m coming back to the CatCF fandom
The old ones here know it: this blog started out as a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory one. It’s one of my obsessions, and I had many retellings of the story and the characters. I pulled them off the Internet for a time for different reasons but I think I’m ready to go back.
If you want any over look at other Charlie and the Chocolate Factory work look at @danguy96 retelling or @boggleseal one.
As for my old retellings and characters, you can find drawings done by friends at @atomsmsher Tumblr or DeviantArt account, or at PPF2009′s account.
I’ll also reblog the few old CatCF posts I made, because now they are buried in the oldest, deepest part of my blog.

Sorry I haven’t posted much about my Charlie and the Chocolate Factory retelling fic. I got caught up in a lot of stuff.
Anyway, I just wanted to show you all the other comics which were drawn by @boggleseal / @moongatti, who graciously accepted my requests for a few crossovers between my version (first drawn by @jamesandtheblog) and her version of the characters. Here are some other collabs we did, in case you’re curious.
Anyway, the first two pictures are recreations of scenes from the satirical UK puppet show, Spitting Image, with my version of Miranda once again taking the place of Margaret Thatcher, and we see the differences in personality between our versions. Specifically, her Miranda is focused too much on school and, but she’s more socially awkward and nervous, whilst my Miranda borders on being an authoritarian supervillain in a 14/15-year old girl’s body.
The third is a meeting between her version of Marvin Prune and mine, and both of them are pretty much vain child stars. In fact, they’re so narcissistic, that neither of them seem to be above the idea of falling for an alternate universe version of yourself. Also, this may be non-canon, but I did have this idea of Marvin being bi, since he also has a crush on Veruca in my version.
I hope you all like it, and I swear that more CatCF stuff is on the way in the near future.

(Note: This isn’t meant to mock people with certain disabilities or those in a vegetative state. This is just a line-for-line recreation of a sketch from Spitting Image, and the characters in the context of both situations are unpleasant and rude individuals who we’re meant to dislike. I hope you all understand)
It’s been a while, but here’s yet another piece of fan-art drawn by @stepfordwife / @boggleseal, featuring the kids from from my retelling of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as hers,
Once again, we decided on recreating a sketch from the UK comedy show, Spitting Image, with my version of the deleted character of Miranda Mary Piker being in the place of Margaret Thatcher (with her version of Miranda acting as a sort of toady). This time, it’s a recreation of the famous “Vegetables” sketch, which I believe suited Miranda’s rude and “I’m better than you!” character perfectly:

I hope you all like it, and again, I hope you don’t mind the punchline to the joke as well.

A little something @mirandapiker/ @boggleseal did for me as a gift, featuring me and @jamesandtheblog‘s interpretation of the deleted Charlie and the Chocolate Factory character, Miranda Mary Piker, from my own little retelling I’m (still) working on, and (what’s left of) the Broadway version of Veruca Salt.
After getting over the shock of the... rather unnerving way the Broadway version of the CatCF musical handled Veruca’s demise, I thought about what if my version of Miranda (who’s basically a supervillain in the making, in my version) was in the musical, and wondered how she would react, given her inconsiderate and sadistic nature. Well, as you can see, she’s taking it rather well, all things considered, and has even taken the opportunity to brush up her Shakespeare... in her own way, of course.
Bonus (with Charlie and Grandpa Joe):
