*THIS* This is a sexy pattern piece. Developing Custom Fashion requires a lot of finesse and each pattern piece can be tweaked a bunch of times before it’s “just so”. Jamie K’s #StarGoddessGown needed an expertly designed and fit body suit that couldn’t be bought off the rack; So I designed one for Jamie’s perfect Goddess bod. It took some finessing but it was well worth it! This Organic Cotton body suit features shorts, a deep v back and a plunging neckline designed to be anchored by nude mesh. When I was studying Fashion Design in college I remember an awesome Pattern Drafting Teacher who would float around the room and say things like “I don’t like that armhole.” Or “That curve isn’t right.” and I used to think, how in the world can she just SEE that?! I mean, Pattern Drafting is a lot of math and precision and calculations! Well, after 20 years of Pattern Design I see it. Behind the seams is an expertly crafted pattern! The Pattern Drafting portion of my Custom Fashion process is steeped in many years of Fashion Design experience as well as university education. These pattern beginnings were for Jamie K’s #StarGoddessGown. Originally she was going to wear what we created over a commercial bodysuit, but everything she tried on was a fail.
