I did a doodle of Bodhi Rook and Darth Vader bc why not lol. Also my favorite Star Wars movie is Rogue One. I just like how the perspective of the world is different compared to looking at it in a jedi pov. The characters in that movie are also underrated asf and it’s great to see fanart of their found family dynamic it’s beautiful!

I hope this doesn’t come across as racist, but why is it that all of your art featuring Zekk has him having significantly darker skin than he does on the covers of official books (YJK and Blood Oath)? I don’t dislike that look or anything, I’m just curious.

I am not 100% sure when I started headcanoning Zekk with darker skin, I think that's just always been how I envisioned him, right alongside the ponytail. I will say, Aladdin was my favorite Disney movie as a kid, and I definitely saw Zekk as Star Wars' Diamond in the rough.

As I started finding more of the Fandom online, I've seen other people using people like Avon Jogia as his faceclaim, so when I started drawing the young Jedi Knights more often, I took inspiration from his appearance as well as Riz Ahmed and his portrayal of Bodhi Rook in Rogue One.

Comments: I know virtually nothing about the Star Wars EU, and can’t judge what sort of things are accurate or not. I’m a fan of @fialleril’s Tatooine Slave Culture headcanons and all associated fics, so a bunch of those will definitely pop up. You’re probably not going to see much in regards to the Sequel Trilogy because I wasn’t a huge fan. I do like the Prequels, though I’m ehh about Clone Wars and clone heavy fics.
