And unlike what Phineas and Ferb said, I’m going to try to actually live up to them.
This year had a rocky start. It has its ups like being able to complete the Sans sprites, confirm I had a custom sprite for every week of the year in 2022, Fully Custom Sprites for Giftoberfest and getting the Sprite Royal Rumble done that featured Captain SNES and Bob and George. Not to mention REDACTED and got into a Re-Animated Project that wasn’t Death Battle related. But then there were long periods of time I wasn’t updating when I should. So let’s see if I can keep any of these promises.
1 - Never missing an update again…
I want to never miss an update again. So when January comes around, I plan on getting back to my normal updating schedule and not miss a single week. This will definitely be the hardest thing to do but I am hoping to get it done.
2 - Begin doing animations…
Working on the SatAM Re-Juiced Project got me to better understand how Da Vinci works. So I am hoping to be able to make animations. Starting small with making animations based on moments and small skits but maybe by the year’s end an actual music video. Here’s hoping.
3 - Do a Video Review…
It would be nice to have a career that allows me to do what I enjoy and not have to worry about work. And sadly, making comics is not that. But I do have other passions. I was thinking of a Video Review Series where I review the Generic Brand of Constructive Bricks (or as you would call them, Knock-off Lego). While I don’t know if I can get a Review series off the ground, I would like to attempt at least one review. And I got a few sets perfect for such a thing.
4 - Spikes’ Hoard going to Power Ponypalooza
Join Big Spike, Little Spike, Juliet Suter, Mina the Dragon, Smolder, and Gabby as this group of six go to Comicopulence in Apple Wood, the Biggest Comic Convention in Equestria. See them travel together in a van, get to know each other better, and totally not fight a villain who can bring fictional beings to life.
5 - Other Things of Note
I would say no Sprite Royal Rumble period, but I have done it when I never had an intention. If anything, a smaller one. Promotion helps and who knows. If I start linking them to Twitter maybe I will catch someone’s eye. Especially if I have a Shadow Preview… And finally Tales from the AkumaVerse on Twilight’s side are canon side stories. But I can’t return to my main comics until I finish that. With that said...
6 - Sprite Upgrade?
I’ve been making a lot of custom sprites over the years. It makes me wonder if I should start upgrading the sprites I’ve used to match my custom style. To do that, I will need to make every character match my style. And that means not getting back at my main comics. I’ll probably have a poll about that.
These are the things I plan on doing. Hopefully I can get them done.

February 22, 1980 do you believe in Miracle’s YES
The "Miracle on Ice" was a medal-round game during the men's ice hockey tournament at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York, played between the hosting United States and the four-time defending gold medalists, the Soviet Union.
The Soviet Union had won the gold medal in five of the six previous Winter Olympic Games, and they were the favorites to win once more in Lake Placid. The team consisted primarily of professional players with significant experience in international play. By contrast, the United States' team—led by head coach Herb Brooks— comprised mostly amateur players. With only four players with minimal minor-league experience, the United States was the youngest team in the tournament and in U.S. national team history. In the group stage, both the Soviet and U.S. teams were unbeaten; the U.S. achieved several notable results, including a 2–2 draw against Sweden and a 7–3 upset victory over second-place favorite Czechoslovakia.
For the first game in the medal round, the United States played the Soviets. Finishing the first period tied at 2–2, and the Soviets leading 3–2 following the second, the U.S. team scored two more goals to take their first lead during the third and final period, winning the game 4–3. Following the game, the U.S. won the gold medal by beating Finland in their final game. Likewise, the Soviet Union took the silver medal by beating Sweden.
The victory became one of the most iconic moments of the Games and in U.S. sports. Equally well-known was the television call of the final seconds of the game by Al Michaels for ABC, in which he declared: "Do you believe in miracles? YES!" In 1999, Sports Illustrated named the "Miracle on Ice" the top sports moment of the 20th century.[1] As part of its centennial celebration in 2008, the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) named the "Miracle on Ice" as the best international ice hockey story of the past 100 years.

Section 1: Rationale (approx. 150 words)
Throughout this foundation year I feel like my outlook on design has been reconstructed. I have learnt new ways of seeing through colours, textures and marks that will lead to a physical sample. I also believe that my skill and style of drawing has developed immensely, meaning I am also more confident in taking quick sketches and being more free in drawing, something I would previously be afraid of. I think that this year so far has also been very beneficial due to the broad use of materials I have used and the different ways I have interpreted them. I feel as even though I knew I wanted to specialise in textiles, I am very glad to have done diagnostic mode as I believe it helped to make me more playful in experimentation and to be more open to ways of creating. The crits have also had a big impact as I feel I now can give/take very good and constructive advice about mine/others’ work.
Section 2: Project concept (approx. 250 words)
The main theme I will be researching for my FMP will be tourism in British seaside towns. I have chosen this as something I want to do as I believe it is rich in history, and most importantly colour and texture. To start off with I will research the background of what started the trends and then develop and refine my research into visiting Margate and gathering bits of bobs I find, as-well as plenty of imagery and drawings on scene. Exhibitions I plan on visiting are Shara Hughes: Unmanageable, Autobiographic in the gallery of everything, Tony Cragg: stacks and Vivian Suter: Tintin’s Sofa. During my research trip I will predominantly use mark making and drawing to collect ideas and shapes. I plan then to use weaving to reflect my research when I am back to recreate any textures/ scenes I discovered while visiting margate. For any research I do I want to document it all in an a4/5 primary research book that I can refer to throughout my project. I specifically want to focus on odd little traditions found within little seaside towns that contribute to the tourism. Perhaps examples may be, rides, sweet treats, fish and chips, vintage shops, fizzy drinks and other little things that are so concrete inthe tradition of going to the seaside in England.
Section 3: Evaluation (approx. 100 words)
I plan to record everything onto either workflow or a blog. I will also use an a4 sketchbook as my visual diary for all drawings, marks, quick ideas, samples and images. In my workflow/ blog I will have 3 separate categories- one for all of my reflections and thoughts. I will then have a section which I can pin research, artists and found imagery to, my third page/section will be to upload images of each sample I have made and then under it to write a small caption on how I can push it further to help me have constant new ideas to refer back to when I feel stuck.

THE MIRACLE ON ICE BUT IT’S THE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

American defenders: Steve Janaszak, Jim Craig, Bill Baker, Ken Morrow, Jack O’Callahan, Mike Ramsey, Bob Suter, Neal Broten
Soviet defenders: Vladimir Myshkin, Vladislav Tretiak, Zinetula Bilyaletdinov, Viacheslav Fetisov, Alexei Kasatonov, Vasili Pervukhin, Sergei Starikov, Valeri Vasiliev
American attackers: Dave Christian, Steve Christoff, Mike Eruzione, John Harrington, Mark Johnson, Rob McClanahan, Mark Pavelich, Buzz Schneider, Dave Silk, Eric Strobel, Phil Verchota, Mark Wells
Soviet attackers: Helmuts Balderis, Aleksandr Golikov, Vladimir Golikov, Valeri Kharlamov, Vladimir Krutov, Yuri Lebedev, Sergei Makarov, Aleksandr Maltsev, Boris Mikhailov, Vladimir Petrov, Aleksandr Skvortsov, Viktor Zhluktov
Perhaps attackers may occasionally have to switch to being defenders if there’s a 10-on-10 match.
OCs can also be added as well!
