I donāt see that many people talk about RTās and Kevinās so I figured I might as well share some tidbits about em
RTGame
Insists he is the drift king. I dunno where he got the title from but just go along with it. Heāll get pissy if you donāt
Mostly responsible unless heās playing board games. Then he can shit talk like the rest of em
HATES SPIDERS. Seriously this is one of the most important things about him, do not even imply a spider may exist in his general vicinity. One time a spider fell on his enclosure in the middle of the night and he screamed so loud I thought someone died
Likes sheep and penguins. I gave him a stuffed sheep big enough to use as a bed
Likes to use Legos to build cities with people in them with the most fucked up roads known to man. Then heāll dump water on the city and laugh at houses getting destroyed
Likes a pint of beer every once in a while
Donāt let him gamble he tends to get addicted :(
If you ask him to clean his area heāll either optimize it to hell and back or do it in the most inefficient way possible to mess with you
CallMeKevin
Very nice guy, can and will try to annoy you
Good for making a friend with a new MCYT. Has been trying to make small talk with my Hardcore Technoblade but it hasnāt worked yet
A source of mischief and mayhem so make sure to consistently check on him. One time I left for five minutes and came back to find he was trying to start a cult
RT is a great look out for him and can rein him in. Theyāre a good duo, get along splendidly if difficult to understand at times
Talks about his dear leader Jim Pickens a lot. Idk who that is
Goes through weird phases like only walking in a straight line. Donāt worry thereās nothing wrong with him heās just like that for a couple days
A Kevin is smarter than he acts. Donāt underestimate his intelligence or youāll regret it
Overall, a very underrated starter duo in my opinion. While keeping just one can overwhelm someone new with their mischief Iāve found the duo balance each other out quite well. Plus, this duo can get along with damn near everyone provided Kevin doesnāt act too annoying. Iād put them up there with ClingyDuo and Phistin in terms of how well they get along

Best GMs and coaches in the league ACC to you?
we can start with gms because coaching is a bit more complicated. best gms in the league is easy to look at because like, who has a good team? who has had a consistently good team? whose locker room is the most cohesive, whose coaching staff is the best? who is the best at acquiring and keeping the best players, coaches, staff, etc? and you can see that in the way teams play.Ā
(putting this under the cut because it got long. and i mean Long.)
so, in no particular order: kyle dubas (leafs), steve yzerman (red wings, i will explain this later), don waddell (canes), julien brisebois (lightning), joe sakic (avs), and kelly mccrimmon/george mcphee (golden knights) (god i still hate that name and also will explain this later too) are the best in the league in my opinion. honorable mention to marc bergevin, who has held onto his job much longer than he arguably should have, but still has a decent team on the ice and a decent coaching staff, although the french rule does severely handicap them (i understand why it exists but it does, it just does).Ā
david poile (preds) is the longest tenured gm in the league (has been the preds gm since fucking 1997, thats insane, thats legit before i was born, what the fuck), and i do genuinely think he is very good at his job, and that he is very hockey smart, but oh boy have his recent decisions been suspect as hell, and that reflects in the state of his team. doug wilson (sharks), who is the second longest tenured gm in the nhl, is in the exact same boat (the karlsson deal is a nightmare, and also did he just forget that his star core was gonna get old and retire or ??).
with dubas, waddell, brisebois, sakic, and mccrimmon/mcphee all have the same basic strengths: they draft well, they have a fundamental understanding of their team structure and how to manage public perception of the team and everything that implies, and they have two fingers on the pulse of their locker room at all times. im not going to pretend to know as much about sakic and mccrimmon/mcphee as i do the eastern gms, but it doesnt take much to figure it out. look at the avs, and their locker room, the success theyve found after being dead fucking last in the league. look at the knights and their incredible success that theyve found after literally not existing before 2017. ive talked about dubas a lot on my blog, but its incredibly easy to see that waddell and brisebois do the same shit he does, and i can do a deep dive on them if asked. bergevin has moments of brilliance, like the suzuki trade and acquiring caufield and anderson, but things like kotkaniemiās development and their entire blue line give me a massive pause, which is why heās not in the main list. heās a good gm. heās just not the best.
in regards to steve yzerman: you have to understand that this is the man that built the tampa bay lightning as we know them. this man was gm of the bolts until fucking 2018. tampa bay has been a monster in the eastern conference for years, BECAUSE of the work steve yzerman put in. his team set the franchise record for wins, and he was the first and is the only lightning gm to have won gm of the year. look up the 17-18 roster. it is, essentially, the roster that won them the cup last year. make no mistake, i think brisebois is great, and hes on the list for a reason, but the biggest part of briseboisā success was steve yzermanās incredible hockey mind. brisebois essentially had to sell off a fourth of his roster, and the lightning are still a top team in their division and in the league, and thats why heās there (it is so incredibly easy to fuck shit up post cup win), but the brisebois lightning would not exist without steve yzerman, plain and simple.
what steve yzerman is doing in detroit should be watched very, very closely by every single person in the hockey world. youre fucking nuts if youre not paying attention to them, not gonna lie. the mantha trade was excellent, if really sad if you know even a bit about the wings, but the amount of draft picks steve yzerman has amassed and the way heās using the prospects and players he already has is really fucking admirable. mike babcock left the red wings organization absolutely in tatters, and i think, honestly, it was always steve yzermanās plan to go home to detroit and rebuild. if there is anyone who is going to strike absolute gold this draft year, it is steve yzerman. watch the red wings, i am telling you, keep a beat on detroit. they are going to be good. its not an if, its a when.
(real quick on the knights situation: mcphee was the first gm of the knights, and was also president of hockey ops at the same time, and then in 2019 mcphee said he was just gonna focus on his job as president, but we all know hes still an integral part of the way the knights are run, and he and mccrimmon have kinda been building the knight together since the beginning anyway bc mccrimmon was originally mcpheeās agm. so. thats why theyre together)
as for coaches, itās very simple. rod brindāamour (canes), sheldon keefe (leafs, yes im biased, weāll get into it), jared bednar (avs), joel quenneville (panthers), jon cooper (lightning), barry trotz (isles), and mike sullivan (pens).
(disclaimer: obviously coaching is done as a team, and assistants and specialist coaches and staff are all very important, but the head coaches set the tone and organize the entire machine, if you will, so im going to be talking about head coaches as if theyre the entire coaching staff. its just easier this way im sorry)
im gonna just start with the easy ones: barry trotz, mike sullivan, and jon cooper have been in the league for years. cooper is the longest tenured coach in the nhl for a reason (again, just look at the tampa bay lightning. its the gmās job to make the coachās life easier and the coachās job to make the gmās life easier, and this is one of the prime examples of it in the league. its dope as hell tbh), trotz is one of the most respected coaches in the hockey world for a reason (the caps lost something when he walked. they just did. and now the isles are absolute hell to play against and that is largely the coaching of barry trotz, you legit cannot tell me im wrong), and while mike sullivan does have his faults, i think hes found a way to please both management and the crosby-and-malkin unit, which has been really really fucking hard to do. he also led the pens to back to back cups, which you can never really uh. ignore. lmao. so theres those three.
i know less about bednar, but again, another example of the coach and gm working together to make each othersā lives easier. sakic gets bednar the players and staff he needs to make the avs better, and bednar takes those players and staff and makes them into the absolute giant they are. it wouldve been really, really easy to fuck up makarās development, or bowen byramās, or sam girardās, or ryan gravesās, or jost or mackinnon or rantanenās, but he hasnāt, and he hasnāt just given up on players like burakovsky or kadri, heās given them new life as players and made them more successful.
joel quenneville is the reason the bl/ckh/wks were a legacy team point blank period. sure they had the talent, sure the gm drafted well, but you do not get the legacy of the chicago bl/ckh/wks without joel quenneville. they fired him on a whim and it absolutely was a mistake, and the moment the cats hired him i literally out loud saidĀ āoh noā because i knew exactly what that meant for the leafs and their position in the standings. the panthers are underrated generally, yes, but they would not be the powerhouse they are this season without quenneville. just look at qās wiki stats. heās absolutely unbeilevable. he won the jack adams in fucking 2000, before heād even won any of the cups with the h/wks. i cant tell you what kind of a locker room coach this guy is, but i can tell you his teams win and win convincingly, and that firing him was the biggest mistake the h/wks have made in years.
whenever i talk about coaching, i talk about rod brindamour and sheldon keefe in the same breath every single time because there is no match, and i mean none, for the love inside those locker rooms. the avs, maybe, but my point stands. keefe and brindamour fucking BLEED team spirit, it is at the center of their coaching styles and their teams are good because of it specifically. marner and matthews are good, yes, and they always have been, but they have surpassed all expectation and then some with keefe. aho, teravainen, and svechnikov are good, yes, and they always have been, but they have surpassed all expectation with brindamour. brindamour and keefe have both hashtag played the game, so they Get It, and more than that, theyve grown and changed their understanding of the game as the game itself has changed, and so they can command the authority of their teams while also connecting to them on a really deep level. i should make a note here that keefe and brindamour are incredibly, deeply hockey smart, and that they are also just technically good coaches, skimming their wiki or nhl dot com articles will tell you that, but what makes them stand out to me is that their players would fucking die for them. the leafs would go through the end boards for keefe, the canes would do the same for brindamour. travis dermott said it best when keefe got promoted: boys wanna play for him. beyond that, the management skills both brindamour and keefe have are just frankly amazing (the amount of ego keefe specifically has to manage in the leafs locker room is astounding and he does it so incredibly brilliantly). the leafs and the canes are talented, yes, and would have been talented regardless of who was coaching them. but brindamour and keefe bring both of those teams from talented to exceptional, and the true mark of an amazing coach is not only how many games their team wins, but how they win them, and the leafs and canes have been winning games this year for and because of each other, and that starts with their coaches. what makes a great coach, to me, is not the talent on the team (though that certainly helps), but how the coach manages his players no matter who they are, and how he helps those players grow not just as players as people, because no matter how much pure stats people and twitter hockey dudebros wanna deny it, that shit does affect on ice play, and it does make good players better.
so theres my analysis of the best coaches and gms of the nhl, im so sorry this is so long, oh my god. also, shoutout to @bishops--knifetrick for sending me an ask about this literally a month ago that i just never answered, sorry for that, but here i hope this is good. :)
#anon#answered#hockey info#wow this took legit like several hours to write between stints of taking care of the baby#ok to rb lmao

My bottom five new-to-me movies of 2020
2020 sucked. So did these movies. Before I do my customary top 20 favorite movie discoveries list, I wanted to share five very special new-to-me movies that were painful to watch. Forgive me if it all sounds like ranting. It probably is.
(And remember-- if you like any of these movies, thatās fine. I am not attacking YOU. I just didnāt like a movie. I know this is a stupid disclaimer to put on a list of opinions, but combing the venomous old IMDB message boards has me on edge a bit lol.)
Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Whether you love the sequel trilogy or hate it, everyone pretty much agrees this movie was a mess. I thought no movie could have a more structurally unsound screenplay than The Crimes of Grindelwald, but Rise of Skywalker gives it staunch competition. It creates a new artform from making things up as the plot requires: new powers for Rey, new Macguffins to pursue, new motivations and backstories for characters.
I admit I dislike The Last Jedi. I dislike it a lot, actually, and it appears JJ Abrams did too from the amount of retconning he does here (Rey isnāt nobody! Honest, guys!). But you canāt backtrack THAT much. Either plot out your entire trilogy before shooting the first film or play fairly with the cards you were dealt by the filmmakers of movie two.
If anything, these movies have become a cautionary tale about not having a plan when making a movie trilogy. Now, George Lucas didnāt really have one either when he was making the original trilogy, but in that case, he wasnāt even sure the first movie was going to be a modest hit, let alone the biggest movie of the 1970s. He had an excuse and did well enough finishing the trilogy. Here, Disney knew there would be sequels, they knew they had a hungry audience, but they chose to just wing it and the results are just-- so disappointing, especially given the talented young actors and lovely special effects they had at their disposal.
The more I think about it, the more poetic the image of Palpatine hooked up to a life support system/crane is. The best ROTS can do is riff on earlier, better movies and hope our affection will make us overlook the awfulness.
Artemis Fowl
Outside of Animal Crossing, Artemis Fowl might have been the only entity to benefit (if only slightly) from the pandemic. I cannot imagine it would have been anything but a box office bomb had the theaters been open.
Artemis Fowl feels like it should have come out in 2003-- not just because the books were more prominent then, but the whole style of this film in general. In 2020, itās positively anachronistic. The whole thing is a joyless attempt at dipping from the old Harry Potter well, with a bit of Spy Kids thrown in for good measure. Beyond that, itās so poorly done as a whole. I have never read the Artemis Fowl books, but I watched this with a friend who has and his head near caught on fire. Apparently, it cuts out everything that made the books cool, like the protagonist basically being a kid version of a Bond villain. Here, heās anything but that: heās the usual bland child protagonist surrounded by a cast of slightly more interesting characters. Josh Gad seems to be the only one really trying. Judi Dench shows up and somehow gives a worse performance than whatever the hell she was doing in Cats.
I was actually shocked Kenneth Branagh of all people directed this. I generally like his films, even the less successful ones like his musical adaptation of Loveās Labors Lost. Even the uninspiring live-action Cinderella remake he helmed is at least pretty to look at-- Artemis Fowl has neither brains nor beauty to recommend it.
Bloodline
This film was intended to jumpstart a career comeback for Audrey Hepburn. This decidedly did not happen. One has to wonder what she saw in this sordid material in the first place. Maybe she really just wanted to work with director Terence Young again? Or she thought this would be a good, more modern take on her screen persona? I have no clue. All I know is that Bloodline is one of the worst big-budget Hollywood movies I have ever seen.
No contest: this is Audrey Hepburnās worst movie. Hate on Green Mansions and Paris When It Sizzles until the stars turn to ash-- at least there was some fun camp value in them. The plot in Bloodline makes no sense, going into unrelated digressions that lead nowhere (did we really need that extended flashback about the dead father? or the subplot with Omar Shariffās two families?). Oh and then thereās the awful sleazy snuff film subplot thatās also poorly developed and goes nowhere. Hepburn is game, but she canāt save the sinking ship. The best she can do is be charming in a terrible 70s perm.
Luckily, she made the underrated They All Laughed two years after this cinematic fecal matter bombed, so at the very least, Hepburnās big screen swan song was a film worthy of her presence. (Hint: there will be more about that movie on my top 20 of the year list!)
Halloween III: The Season of the Witch
You all have no idea how excited I was to see this. All the mentions of it on Red Letter Media made it sound like deliriously entertaining schlock. I mean, itās a movie in which the villain sells cursed Halloween masks that turn childrenās heads into bugs and snakes! That sounds awesome! Instead, the movie is badly paced and boring: the main characters are uninteresting and the plot takes an interesting premise then does.... nothing with it. Nothing whatsoever. The second act is the cinematic equivalent of treading water. In fact, so little happens, that the filmmakers squeeze in a pointless sex scene between two character who have all the chemistry of a lit match and a bag of M&Mās.
The thing that annoys me most about this film is that it killed off a great concept: that all of the future Halloween films would be standalone stories centered around the spookiest time of the year. Unfortunately, this movie botched itself so badly that people often think the absence of Michael Meyers was the problem. It wasnāt: it was the absence of a good story.
Blindsided
This is probably the most watchable movie on this list, but thatās not saying much. A bloodless ripoff of Wait Until Dark, Blindsided is an unimaginative thriller with no thrills, humor, or interesting characters whatsoever.
The whole film is just repetitive. The situation doesnāt slowly boil to something horrific, the threat presented by the villains doesnāt escalate, there are no interesting interactions between the characters: no, here the underdeveloped protagonist is interrogated, tortured and/or sexually harassed, tries to escape, is recaptured, rinse and repeat for ninety minutes. I admit thereās some clever resourcefulness on the part of the heroine in the last scene-- but itās basically just Wait Until Darkās climax (down to the twist with the villain finding an alternative source of illumination for crying out loud!) without the emotional payoff that comes from slow-burn pacing or the fantastic performances, so even thatās a letdown.
I thought the movie might at least be saved by Michael Keaton as the main criminal mastermind since heās shown he can be a great villain in other moviesĀ (if they had remade Wait in the 80s, he would have been a perfect Harry Roat Jr.), but even he seems to be phoning it in here. Beyond a scene of attempted cat murder (Iām serious-- the bad guys are so incompetent they canāt even kill a cat), thereās not even anything so bad itās good to enjoy. Blindsided is just dull and by-the-numbers.

A, Q, and L for the ask game :)
A:Ā Favorite character?
wOW that's a loaded question. To be honest it changes a lot and depends on circumstances! It's especially hard as a clone fan since they're all similar in ways but then vastly different but makes it hard to choose favorites!!Ā
Like there's so many characters that I just adore. Like Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka, Rex, Cody, Fives, Fox (sorry for putting them next to each other), Jesse, Hardcase, Echo, Blackout, Wolffe; i LOVE Din from the Mandalorian, and Boba, Han, Leia, Luke. I love Depa, Plo, Mace, Shaak Ti, Grievous (i just think hes neat), the delta boys from the repcomm game, Maul, Kanan, Hera. Baze and Chirrut. I could literally just keep listing for a super super long time. I'm a very poor decision maker. Craziest thing is that I don't even know SO MANY cool characters. Like for instance i know i will LOVE Revan, but i havent gotten to the old republic yet in my reading and watching and playing!! i will eventually, but there's so much great content it will take me a long time. I'm a big sap and love characters very easily, so it could just be a neverending list of characters i like. A shorter list would be characters i'm neutral towards or dislike aksjdhsh
Anyways, if someone had a gun to my head I'd say R2D2.
Q.Ā Any Rare pairs?Ā
I really like Depa/Grey because it's uhhh incredibly tragic, and because it hits on my jedi/commander niche that i like to read about. And the few fics i've read with them have been so soft and sweet. Last time i checked there were 12 fics with them but really only 3 or 4 that would really count as ship fics. I DO have a fic in the works for them but it's on hold until i finish this wolffe prompt and chapter 4 of jareor!Ā
Also i jumped on board the Vox train with @forcesensitivebantha and co because they have a FUNNY AS HELL dynamic. Cannot BELIEVE they never even met in canon, but they are really fun to read about!!
L.Ā Underrated Character?
I'll answer this one again cause I can just choose someone new! Shaak Ti is super underrated in my opinion! Part of that is yes, because she really is THAT pretty and I'm hopelessly gay for her. But the way she moves in the Conspiracy arc (her robes billowing around her when she jumps down the flight of stairs SWOON). But I also think her role as lead Jedi trainer of the GAR is interesting. I liked how she talked with Domino squad and used her wisdom and fought for the clones rights when she could. She was also incredibly fun in the 2003 clone wars series too.
#i'll end up bullet pointing every character i have ever liked on that first answer not gonna lie#im weak and cant choose okay#fluff answers#thank you for asking!

1x14 - The Blair B*tch Project
A new week (well not so new) and a new recap. This episode is so Mean Girls Upper east side version, and it was fun.Ā
As usual, recap after the breakĀ
Thoughts I had while Watching the episode:
Is always such a delight to star an episode with one of Blairās Audrey Hepburn inspired dream sequences, this one in particular is one of my all time faves though.
āYou donāt have anyoneā auch, also very simliar to watch said to her on the last episode :(
āIām in mourning of my old lifeā I wonder how many times Blair thought that through the whole show
Chuck annoying Serena to no end will never get old.
So was this suposed to be Bartās penthouse?
Chuck was always so charming with Lily, and itās curious because it was genuine. Same with Eric,he was nice since the beginning, honestly the merging of the Van der Bass family is one of my fave plot points in the show.
I wonder what Serena did on spring break that she hadnāt talked to Blair.
This is why women say men are the worst, so Chuck and Nate get to be all offended by the mere sight of Blair, as if she was the only one in the wrong here.Ā
Poor Blair, yoghurt is so sticky. Also Iām not a fan of Nate here, he finds it funny and then heās al concerned about Jennyās tender nature. As if.
Nice and neutral would never work for Blair the same way it works for Serena, even if she wanted to.Ā
The way Jenny came up with a plot against Blair on the spot just to avoid an expensive dinner, like wow.
āDonāt put your dirty package on the table, If i had a dime for everytime i heard thatā Same Erick, same.Ā
Gotta love Blair and that hostess
Getting Blair to wait alone at Butler, that was brilliant Jenny, taking that dress.. not so much. She may be really smart and devious, but she still has a lot to learn.
Bart really was such a lousy dad, which in turns makes Chuck even more jaded and like to do worst, such a vicious cycle.
15000, for a custom made Valentino, auch Jenny.
Rufus is so naive here, but then again he doesnāt know Blair. Yet what she tells him about the struggle aināt wrong.Ā
Wow she stole the same dress twice. I guess Little J no more.Ā
So Serena is annoyed by Chuck not only by his little pranks, but because heās nice towards her mother and brother, that actually makes more sense in a way.
Also I love Lilyās line:Ā āChuck might be excentric but heās not diabolicalā itās funny and also a bit telling of why Chuck actually likes her.
That was brilliant Blair, that Jenny cake is quite the thing. Also what the hell is she wearing.
Is aināt wrong Rufus is kind of a hotty... for a dad.Ā
Even though sheās being talking about the same thing non stop, itās funny to watch Dan complain about Serena talking to much, when he suffers from verbal diarrhea half the time, but who am I to judge
Blair really is in her bitch element here.
Jennyās argument with her dad was so real, because both on them are right in some way. It aināt easy. And once has to be either very mature or antisocial for it not to bother you.
Iāve said it before but I love Eric and his sense of humor, and he has some of the most underrated lines on this show, even deep and hard stuff is funny
Itās awful and yet I love that sweater with the dolphins Chuckās wearing. I also would like to know why is so easy to feel bad for Chuck Bass.
Danās also super critical of his dad, and Iām like is there someone out there this guy doesnāt judge?
This is one of those times I wish I didnāt know what was coming, because I still remember how curious I was to see Jennyās plan towards Nate.
Eric is quite loyal, being mad at Serena because she drove Bart to kick out Chuck.
Well played Jenny, well played, that last look she gaves Blair is sooo good, itās the moment when Blair really realizes how worthy of an adversary Jenny is.
I love the ending of this episode, is one of my faves. It ends with an unlikely victory for Jenny, a tad of mistery, and a great song.
For real, I loveĀ āSour Cherryā by The Kills.
When I think about my favorite episodes in S1 this one normally doesnāt came up, but I think it should. Is a really good one. Jennyās the star of this episode and weirdly I donāt mind. I love her dynamic with Blair, especially in the first two seasons and this is the episode when it really takes off. This episode is also the start of the Van der Bass family which I also love for many reasons.
So Jenny and Blair, at the time of this episode this was one of Blairās lowest points, she lost her Queen B title and not only that but sheās shunned out by everyone, even getting yoghurt dropped on her head, what a change. She says at the start of the episode that sheās in mourning of her old life, and while it was meant to be just a display of her dramatic personality, this is really the end of her old life, the Blair we met in the pilot had a completely different future ahead of her, pristine reputation, not as single crack in her pefect image, with a blue blooded boyfriend and a place at the top of the hierarchy, that Blair never came back entirely, and thatās good. Obviously it will take her the rest of the show to grow up and mature, but I like seeing her fight for what she wants in a way that lets her devious brain shine, and she got quite the adversary.
Jenny is in many ways the perfect rival for Blair. In theory Jenny shouldnāt be a formidable oponent in the way she is, she has no connections, no name, no money, and yet she plays the game almost better than anyone, sheās smart, ambitious an cunning, which are traits she shares with Blair. Sheās also a hardworker and willing to do what it takes to get what she wants. This episode she shows how brilliant she because it was almost impossible to bounce back from getting caught with that dress she stole, and one can tell Blair thought that was a sound victory and she canāt quite believe when Jenny shows up with Nate and has claimed back her spot. It was great to see, and I some ways even I love Blair I find myself rooting for Jenny, sheās that good.
HonestlyJenny can give Blair a run for her money and yet Iām not sure she entirely realizes it, because Jenny is fighting against Blairās shadow in her mind, she can win battles but I get the feeling she doesnāt believe she can win the war. In part because she still has a lot to learn, but in some ways I think Jenny feelsi atĀ disadvantage againgst Blair in a similar way Blair feels toward Serena: a rival that is ahead on the race just by virtue of who she is, with envy and admiration in equal parts. To me their dynamic is interesting through the whole show because Blair even if the doesnāt want to admit it fears Jenny too, a new younger queen in the making, with the ability to knock her dow even it seems unlikely, itās a tale as old as time, a bit like Queen Elizabeth the first and Mary Queen of Scots. And this is just the first episode of this battle,I really love this part of the show.
The other big plot this episode is the merging of the Van der Woodsen and the Basses which is great because we get to see more of these two broken families and learn more about them. Serena is obviously not happy about this, particularly the part about living with Chuck; at this point we know they were all friends before, but I got the impression out of the group they liked each other the less, with a poor opinion of each other. Their behavior throught the whole season reinforces thatļæ½ļæ½and honestly through the season Chuck has not given her even one small reason for her to like him, and I feel part of the reason Chuck was so eager to plot against Serena with Blair was because he got a first row sit to the mess she left when she run for boarding school, with a heartbroken Nate and a devasted Blair. And yet while Serena constantly sees the worst ih him, heās actually trying for once, as hard to believe as that is for her.
If this episode made one thing obvious is how much Chuck always wanted to have a family, heās genuine in his compliments to Lily as extravagant as they may seemed and heās really good with Eric too, they took really quick to each other because they have felt inadequate at some point or another, he eventuanlly makes the effor with Serena too, as Eric explains to her when he gives her a message from him (which backfires, but no the point)Ā and for all his bad qualities Chuck can be a very non-judgemental person when he wants it, this episode for instance Serena gets him kicked out of the penthouse and yet as soon as she apologizes and ask for his help he letās it go. Because as we see his relationship with Bart is awful, his father always expects and believes the worst of him, and even when heās nice it ends up being not genuine, and so for the first time via the Van der Woodsens he has the oportunity to get a family life that itās more than that.Ā
At his core Chuck is a lonely person, which is part of the reason he latches so easily to Van der Woodsens here, sure he had Nate but that was it, and Nate as good hearted as he is not the most reliable person, itās quite noticeable this episode, aside his new found relationship with the Van der Woodsens, since Nate has dropped their friendship heās basically on his own in every scene this episode, even more son than Blair who was Serena, even if Serena is flighty and always gets caught up in something, and sure enought the episode ends up with the mistery of who isĀ āGā, which was intriguing the first watch because imagine a person that gets even Chuck Bass like oh no! But thatās for next episode.Ā
Randoms bits Iāve noticed
The timing of this episode is sort of weird. Last episode seemed like it was the end of January or something like that, and now this one isĀ after spring break, and since thanks to gossip girl wikia, we know Jennyās birthday is on March 30th, and Serena says to Blair about herĀ ā3 week old scandalā and Iām like, I mean itās possible, but then the first to episodes after the holidays had to be like really way too long after the holidays,Ā and that doesnāt makes much sense either.
We also got a new location for the school, I sort of like the other one better.Ā
When the girls throw yoghurt on Blairās head, all the yoghurt cups are turne upside down.Ā
At the top of the piano thereās a picture of Chuck as a little kid (which is actually Ed), guess Bart wanted to a least gave the impression he care. I do love the fact the show asked the actors for photos of themselves when they were kids. The ones on top of the piano at the Waldorfs are pics of Leighton as a kid.
Feel like saying it againg, butĀ this was such a good ending:

SIMS 4 PACKS RANKED #5: GET TOGETHER
This one honestly surprised me. A lot of people would typically rank Get Together a lot lower. Hell, even I had it lower on this last at first. The core concept is rather vague and unexciting at first glance. The main thing this expansion allows you to do is let you create..... clubs, for your sim and their virtual sim friends to hang out together. Itās not the flashiest pack ever, and it doesnāt add that much more depth to the game.
But what I realized is that I use the stuff that this pack has to offer a LOT, to the point where I started taking it for granted.
As uninspiring as the concept ofĀ āBeing Able to Make Clubsā seems at first glance, being able to customize them results in a surprising amount of silliness to be had and turns it into a rather versatile tool.
So hereās some of the things Iāve done with justĀ the clubs feature:
Make a group of cowboy prisoners who like to dance, cook food, and fight each other.
Put my sim recreations of the heroes and villains of my tabletop games in two separate groups who will beat the shit out of each other at first sight.
Make my sim able to summon a group of people dressed up as garden gnomes to clean up the house.
Make a group of serial romantic beekepers in bear costumes.
Make a group of Sims dedicated to becoming so angry that they die.
Make a group of sims that love to swim but are FORBIDDEN from eating, sleeping, showering, or being nice to anybody.
Create a foodie club run by a serial killer that uses it to obtain her victims.
Recreate the Bachelorette.
Make a sex cult.
Have the same sex cult devote themselves to gardening, cooking, and fishing in order to try and bring their former leader back to life.
Stoners Against Video Games
Not to mention the slew of uses Iāve had for them that may not quite be as silly but still manage to provide useful, such as an acting club, a vampires club, a rebel teen club, clubs for my 100 baby challenge, clubs to get a whole bunch of sims essentiallyĀ ālivingā on the same lot.
The additional activities that you get are also pretty substantial and Iāve found a lot of use with. DJ Booths, a foosball table, a darts board, dance floors that double as cardboard clutter, and the legendary poop bush.
Iāve had so much fun with this stuff in this pack - itās really the most underrated one in my honest opinion. Itās a pack for people that like to play God, using cheats out of the whazoo and creating elaborate torture homes for your virtual humans. And if youāre one of those people, Iām sure youāll enjoy this.

I hope you don't mind me asking this, since it isn't directly Wario series related, but what do you think of the ND Cube Mario Party games? They do have Wario in it, you mentioned that you are a MP fan and I find them overhated aside from Super which everyone loves
Hey I donāt mind! Any chance to talk about one of my favorite Mario series is fine by me!
9 is an odd case, I don't mind the gameplay style it introduced and I think Magma Mine and how the second half let's you make some decision on whether to try and screw your opponent over or just not take any risks and get away from the lava ASAP does show the potential it has.
Thing is, that's the only board that in my opinion, really gives you enough control in any way, it's difficult to get Special Dice and certain board events can screw you over way too easily, Captain Events are even worse, since whoever is Captain has the full power to just screw you over as they please.
Despite everything I do think there is fun to be had with it, the minigames are good and it had good bonus modes like Boss Rush and Perspective Mode. It's really just a very mixed bag, got it's good qualities, but the bad parts are really obnoxious.
Island Tour is just undercooked.
The Minigames are mostly okay, with some winners and stinkers sandwiched in and out of the boards I actually do really like Bowser's Peculiar Peak and Star-Crossed Skyway is okay, but all the other boards range from bad, to having ideas, but being designed in ways that don't allow them to be utilized in any meaningful way.
10 is good and underrated. Yeah I said it.
It does away with so much that I didn't like in 9, such as the Captain Events or luck based bosses and the game makes it a point to hand out Special Dices a lot, allowing for a greater degree of control over your fate. That way I feel the car playstyle is fine, even if I do prefer the traditional formula myself.
Bowser Party I have a lot of love for, even with some balance issues and a lack of content, this is one of the coolest ideas to ever be put in a Mario Party game and I want it revisited someday.
amiibo Party I see as more of an extra, it's bare and how it forces you to use amiibo for certain imputs is dumb, but the presentation is charming as hell.
Star Rush I am also fond of. Toad Tour is a cool idea, with my only issues being that a lack of partners can hold you back a bit too much and it could have used more minigames, repeats happen quite a bit.
Coinathlon is also really fun, but the rest of the modes I don't care for, not even the puzzle minigame of the day and Balloon Bash in particular really lacks anything that made Toad Tour work. Despite this though I do think that what I see as the two main modes, hold up.
Top 100 could have worked and I mean there is charm to it, the minigame remakes are fine and there are a number of nice details and nods to the older titles that really make it feel like they wanted this game to be a little celebration of the series.
The problem is that there is just no glue that holds everything together. It's fun when you play the Minigame Island, but after that any incentive to even play the minigames is gone, since the board game portion is no better then Balloon Bash and there aren't enough Minigame Modes to keep you going for long.
There are also a couple of stinkers in the collection, that were clearly just added to have more minigame types, like the mic games or Tug o' War, even if that one is much better on the 3DS then it was on the N64.
Don't get me wrong, I love the minigames in Mario Party, but they work far better as part of a bigger whole, then as the sole content you are getting.
Super Mario Party is good, it's fine. As is noticable I don't find NDCube's output that bad at all, so I'm not as in love with this game as others are, though I DO find it to be a very promising foundation for future games.
I do champion the original formula above all else, so it's great to have that back and the inclusion of Star Rush elements is something I honestly adore. The game also nails personality, which is good, since I feel that some of the cartoony zanyness from previous games isn't quite here.
Even the extra modes are solid across the board here, I'm especially fond of Sound Stage, since that one is pretty much Mario Party x Rhythm Heaven and there is nothing that's not good about that.
My biggest problems come from the boards, while fine enough to play on, they are few in numbers, pretty generic and small, it doesn't take long until you have seen everything with them and while yeah, there is a lot going on every turn, there aren't any more out of the way mechanics like Big Boo in Horror Land to spice things up and few really threatening events.
I'm also not the biggest fan of the single Joycon control scheme, but it's something you get used to.
Super is still fun and I'm glad it's bringing the series back to it's roots, but as I mentioned before, I see it as more of a foundation for future games to build on.
If I had to rank them it would be:
1. 10 2. Super 3. Star Rush 4. Island Tour 5. Top 100
10, Super and Star Rush are all good.
9 is a mixed bag, that's held back by a couple really obnoxious low points.
Island Tour has two boards that I'll gladly replay, but that's about it.
Top 100 has, some questionable minigame choices and the bleh board game portion aside, decent content, but very little you can do with it.

My opinion of socks is theyāre underrated and a great addition to the world. theyāre like socially acceptably slippers. i only wear ankle socks, though. the other ones are uncomfortable. I do sleep with socks because my hands and feet get cold really easily, and i DONāT trust white clothing, socks included.
Whatās your fave pastry? crepes or donuts
Tell us about your pet peeves! yāall donāt wanna know all of them but i hate when people who canāt sing well think that they can sing well. i know thatās a personal problem but it drives me CRAZY. also hate people who walk slowly in school hallways. also hate people who, uh, tear other people down just for the sake of feeling superior. also, people who make condescending comments about, like, attire? very unnecessary. also when my siblings (especially the younger ones) ignore me trying to reason with them. and so on

I have a friend thatās the frontwoman and primary composer of a metal band, Valentine Wolfe. She kicks ASS. The skills, the aesthetic, the soaring voice, the storytelling. Goth as hell, ethereal. Her duo partner and spouse taglines her as āhalf Veela, half Dementor.ā While watching them on stage, the masc-leaning person (another musician) next to me commented, āSheās too cute; sheās not spooky, sheās spoopy!ā And I kept thinking, Why? What do you mean by that? Is it her soft, hyper-feminine speaking voice? Her aesthetic of long hair and dresses? Why did he need to say that? I wish I had pointed it out, but as a feminine performer not wanting to rock the boatā¦ I didnāt. This person had also made comments too me about my own femininity as a performer. We get judged and dismissed for being too feminine, too cute, too sweet, even when weāre writing songs about death rot. When I go to upload my music for distribution, the genre options are āsinger songwriterā and āfemale singer songwriter.ā When I was first getting started, someone at a con came up to my now-husband, Richard, and asked, āShe was great! Who writes her songs?ā He was sort of taken aback. āā¦She does.ā Listen, I use my femininity as part of my act. I will happily show as much cleavage as I legally can for adult shows and solicit tips. I understand there are pros and cons to that, but at the same time: I am my own product but Iām also more than my act. I see it click when people start taking me seriously when weāre behind-the-scenes. That Iām more serious and thoughtful than my public persona. That I do a lot of work and consideration before I put myself out there, and that Iām always trying to learn more. I feel like I have to better, more organized, more professional to be taken seriously because of the way I look; I mean, Iām literally a clown sometimes. And this is me as a white woman; women of color and gender non-conforming folks have tons of other bullshit on top of that. At the same time, when Iām in ācharacter,ā I feel like my anger or activism gets treated as āsafe,ā or part of a bit. I can say the same thing off stage in the same tone and people find it much more confrontational (āconfrontationalā in that Iām speaking openly on a topic and not couching assertions). I guess part of it is that Iām much more open and authentic on stage and in my public voice than they realize; Iāve seen this play out in my private life too, when I talk openly about my feelings or health but Iām not taken at my word. (An aside, but to be totally fair: I get it! I do do bits and joke and smile when Iām angry or have panic attacks that are mostly āfreezeā or masked. I try really hard to take that into consideration when Iām communicating in my personal life, to varying degrees of success.) Anyway, I was revisiting my thoughts on this because of the hot take going around that Taylor Swift is the Millennial Bruce Springsteen and I am on board. I donāt love-love Taylor Swift and she has the same kinds of White Feminism problems I do, but sheās still the dominant voice in her songwriting even when sheās collaborating. She describes what she sees. Regardless of how you feel about Taylor Swift, itās an interesting read comparing Baby Boomer and Millennial radio sensibilities and the way we treat men writing about women vs. women writing about men. Taylor Swift is also an underrated guitarist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YF1tx9KyhPc At any rate, itās a complicated topic and Iāve had experiences in my own life where my art was influenced by the men around me in negative ways. The topics of my songwriting, the kind of music I liked, the kind of āgirlyā guitar I played. āFuckboiā wasnāt a common term for me when I was in my 20s, but those kinds of negging dudes are āguitarbois.ā Some of them donāt even play guitar! Or anything! But they have a lot of opinions on how I do music, and itās distinctly different from offering constructive criticism or talking shop. They want to make sure theyāre still higher in the pecking order. I actually made a micro-game about it called āPunch a Guitarboi,ā because externalizing my feelings is how I keep from obsessing. Also my sprite is cute!

30. what is a piece of advice for people who may not be in a safe place to express their sexualityitās up to you to decide if/when you want to come out, but if you are in a difficult position donāt feel pressured to come out because your safety and well-being comes first. and being in the closet doesnāt make you any less gay

Dallas Cowboys: 2017 Record Predictions
With last weekās release of the 2017 NFL regular season schedule, Tony Iosso and I each decided to do game-by-game predictions before this Thursdayās draft. Letās take a look at what Dallas will be up against and how we believe they will fare.
Week 1: Sept. 10th 8:30 PM vs New York Giants
Matt: The Cowboys struggled mightily with New York last season. They were in both games, but just couldnāt get it done against an improved Giants team. I donāt think the Giants sweep the Cowboys again, but in week one, Iāll take New York to win another tight one. LOSS: (0-1)
Tony: Last season, rookie sensations Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott were unable to overcome the Giant defense, failing to crack 20 points in either loss. I wouldnāt discount this as a major motivating factor throughout the offseason. Throw in Dez Bryantās recent back and forth with Janoris Jenkins on Twitter and the Cowboys wonāt lack for bulletin board material this summer. Give me the Cowboys in this one to avenge last season. WIN: (1-0)
Week 2: Sept. 17th 4:25 PM @ Denver Broncos
Matt: Despite this being an extremely good defense, the Cowboys match up well with the Broncos. Plus, I canāt see Denverās offense keeping pace with the high-powered offense of the Cowboys. I like Dallas to pull away late and take this game on the road. WIN: (1-1)
Tony: Traveling to Denver for a game is never an easy task, but making the trip in September is far better than late December. While the Broncosā defense is still formidable, they struggled to stop the run last year. Coupled with a predicted below average offense and I think Dallas has enough firepower to start the year 2-0. WIN: (2-0)
Week 3: Sept. 25th 8:30 PM @ Arizona Cardinals
Matt: Traditionally, the Cardinals have one of the toughest NFL venues to play at. They fell way short of last seasonās expectations, which makes me think they have a bounce back year in 2017. The Cowboysā defense is questionable on the back end, especially before this yearās draft. LOSS: (1-2)
Tony: Away games in Arizona have not been kind to the Cowboys in recent past. However, this is a new team with new players. I think Arizona could struggle on offense this year even against a Cowboys defense with multiple question marks. Dallas wins and moves on, keeping their hot start alive. WIN: (3-0)
Week 4: Oct. 1st 1:00 PM vs LA Rams
Matt: The Rams match up pretty well up front against the Cowboys. I do think they can slow down Dallasā rushing attack, but overall, Dallas is the better team. I like the Cowboys to make a statement here with an early-season thrashing of the Rams. WIN: (2-2)
Tony: On paper, this is a win for the Cowboys in my opinion. It will be interesting to see what the Rams look like under a new coaching staff and scheme. Wade Phillips will have the defense near the top half of the league in my mind and the game will be tougher than anticipated. However, the Cowboys find a way to pull it out at home. WIN: (4-0)
Week 5: Oct. 8th 4:25 PM vs Green Bay Packers
Matt: Payback time! Yes, the Cowboys have major needs on the back end and Aaron Rodgers can be lethal (see last seasonās playoff matchup), but Dallas has this one circled. I like a shootout with Dak coming out on top at home. WIN: (3-2)
Tony: Ah, our arch nemesis Aaron Rodgers and the Packers come to town in early October. In 2016 the Cowboys went to Green Bay and beat the Packers before ultimately losing to them at home in the playoffs. I think the reverse happens in 2017, which means Dallas takes a loss here before enacting their revenge later. LOSS: (4-1)
Week 6: BYE WEEK

cover32 Exclusive: Part 1 of Raidersā interview with Las Vegas Mayor, Carolyn Goodman
NFL Draft Prospect Spotlight: Interview with Keyso Moss

Matt: This one could be tougher than it looks, but without a legitimate quarterback on the roster, the 49ers have no chance. I expect their defense to give Dallas some problems, but not be a real threat to win the game. WIN: (4-2)
Tony: The 49ers are a team on the rebuild and the Cowboys should hold the edge in almost every major category. But the Cowboys struggled in San Fransisco last season, granted it was Dak and Zekeās second game. I believe they find things a bit easier this go around, after coming off of a bye week. WIN: (5-1)
Week 8: Oct. 29th 4:25 PM @ Washington Redskins
Matt: The Redskins played Dallas tough last season. With this game being in Washington, I think Kirk Cousins and co. handle the Cowboys in their first matchup of the season. Give me the Redskins here.Ā LOSS: (4-3)
Tony: Cowboys vs Redskins is traditionally a close game, regardless of team records. I expect this contest to be no different. The edge goes to the home team here as Dallas falls to 5-2. LOSS: (5-2)
Week 9: Nov. 5th 4:25 PM vs Kansas City Chiefs
Matt: The Chiefs are extremely tough, and probably one of the most underrated teams in the NFL. Despite Dallas playing at home, I think the Chiefs match up well and their secondary could give Dak Prescott fits. LOSS: (4-4)
Tony: Andy Reidās teams are always a threat and this Chiefs team is no different. However, I think they still lack the offensive firepower to take advantage of any holes in the Dallas defense. I will take the Cowboys in a close one, moving to 6-2 on the year. WIN: (6-2)
Week 10: Nov. 12th 4:25 PM @ Atlanta Falcons
Matt: Do the Falcons become victims of the curse of the Super Bowl loser? I donāt think so, but I also donāt think they can stop the Cowboysā run game. I like Dallas to win a shootout against Matty Ice and the Falcons. WIN: (5-4)
Tony: The Cowboys will take their first trip to the defending NFC championās new stadium here, and should be in for quite the test. Matt Ryan and company appear set to pick up where they left off last season and knock off Dallas. LOSS: (6-3)
Week 11: Nov. 19th 8:30 PM vs Philadelphia Eagles
Matt: The Eagles are tough to read coming into 2017. They have a talented, young passer in Carson Wentz, and an improving defense. Last season, they started hot and fell apart. I think Dallas is the better team and they take care of business. WIN: (6-4)
Tony: After a tough road defeat to the Falcons, the Cowboys bounce back at home on Sunday Night Football against division rival Philadelphia. I expect the Eagles to be improved in 2017, making the division a true four-team race. However, Dallas gets the victory in this one. WIN: (7-3)
Week 12: Nov. 23rd 4:30 PM vs LA Chargers
Matt: This one looks like an easy win, and despite the Chargers hitting on a few draft picks last season, they still arenāt close to contention. Rivers will be tough on the Cowboysā secondary, but I like Dallas here. WIN: (7-4)
Tony: The annual Thanksgiving Day game sees the newly relocated Chargers come to town. Phillip Rivers is always capable of a huge game and has a multitude of weapons on offense this season. Coming off of a night game the previous week, the sluggish Cowboys get outscored by Rivers and fall on turkey day. LOSS: (7-4)
Week 13: Nov. 30th 8:25 PM vs Washington Redskins
Matt: While I picked Dallas to lose in their first meeting with the Redskins, that wonāt be the case in this game. Washington will be in the middle of their usual late-season collapse. Dallas feeds off of their home crowd and knocks out the Redskins here. WIN: (8-4)
Tony: This is the third straight nationally televised game for the Cowboys, and I expect them to rebound with a victory. After a Thanksgiving day disappointment, Jason Garrett has the team fired up for the stretch run. WIN: (8-4)
Week 14: Dec. 10th 4:25 PM @ New York Giants
Matt: I think for the second straight week, the Cowboys get revenge for early-season losses against divisional foes. The Giants are tough at home, but I see Dak Prescott getting his first career win over the Giants in Week 14. WIN: (9-4)
Tony: The Cowboys have a brutal December schedule, but if they want to advance in the playoffs these are the types of games they have to win. The goal gets off to a rough start though as I see them losing this one at MetLife Stadium. LOSS: (8-5)
Week 15: Dec. 17th 8:30 PM @ Oakland Raiders
Matt: The Raiders have become one of the best teams in football since acquiring Derek Carr and Khalil Mack a few seasons ago. This will be a hell of a matchup and potential Super Bowl preview. I like Oakland here, though. LOSS: (9-5)
Tony: The Raiders are widely considered as one of the teams capable of knocking off the Patriots and representing the AFC in the Super Bowl. If the Dallas secondary is still a major weakness, then Derek Carr could put up some big numbers. The Cowboys come out of the black hole with a loss moving to 8-6, and causing national media outlets to start the Cowboys December collapse narrative. LOSS: (8-6)
Week 16: Dec. 24th 4:25 PM vs Seattle Seahawks
Matt: Seattle took out Tony Romo in the preseason last year, and I think the Cowboys get a little payback here. Playing at home, I see the Cowboys running all over Seattle. Dallas wins a close game against another likely playoff team. WIN: (10-5)
Tony: These new younger Cowboys come out to prove they are not the same team as previous years by beating the Seahawks quite handily. The win moves them to 9-6 and likely sets up a huge week 17 matchup in Philadelphia. WIN: (9-6)
Week 17: Dec. 31st 1:00 PM @ Philadelphia Eagles
Matt: Dallas, after what I predict to be a slow start, gets hot to end the season. The Eagles will play them tough, but with Dallas still fighting for playoff position, I see them taking care of Philly ā whom I believe will be out of contention. WIN: (11-5)
Tony: In this prediction, the Cowboys would likely need a victory here to assure themselves a playoff spot. This situation has not worked out for the team in the past, but Dak and Zeke continue to prove these arenāt the same Cowboys. A late Dan Bailey field goal gives the Cowboys a playoff birth and division crown for the second straight year. WIN: (10-6)
