I just want to say thank you to all The Owl House crew

You guys have no idea what its like being a 14yo queer teen turning the TV on and seeing bi flags, bi flags on Disney Channel. On fucking Disney Channel, the channel that i grew up watching.

I have nothing to say except thank you, thank you, thank you I just can't hold the tears. I have a 9yo sister, she likes one of her girl friends and the friend likes her back, they're dressing up as Luz and Amity this Halloween. She still hasn't told me about her crush (I'm not sure why) but I just want her to know that it's okay, there's nothing wrong with her and she is going to be fine. Im so glad she's able to grow up watching TOH.

So, thank you Dana, thank you to all the animators, writers, storyborders, designers, editors, voice actors, producers and every single person that made this possible. This is huge.

Unfortunately for those who want to HC otherwise, Bosook Coburn confirmed that yes, these skulls are those of Titan babies;

Not only that, but they’re King’s siblings too! I guess that confirms the theory that Titans lay hundreds of tiny eggs, hence why their offspring are so disproportionately small, like some real-world animals.

Remember when the episode began, and some of us were wondering why King was fantasizing about having siblings, when that idea hadn’t come up before, unlike with his father? Well. Now we know; It was set-up for the end of the episode, for King to mourn not only his dad, but his brothers and sisters too.

He didn’t see the room, but he DID realize the skulls on Tarak and the others didn’t belong to them, and King isn’t dumb. He’d have figured it out. King just started considering the idea of other family besides his dad, and seemed to at least get that, until...!

Bill and his generation of Titan Trappers murdered children. They were all hunted down, and their father gave everything to protect the last with Jean-Luc. King is canonically a genocide survivor. And with how Bo explained that a lot of the perception of the Collector as the “Grand Huntsman” comes from Bill, who according to her is “you know”, and I gotta wonder; Did the Collector even dislike or target Titans in the first place, or did Bill just make that up?

The Trappers’ broken disk suggests the Collector was imprisoned and freed before, did Bill just willfully misinterpret the need for their blood as a chance to carry out some grudge against Titans? I hope the Collector kills him as fickle revenge for hurting his new best friend; The Collector had no qualms being King’s friend after all, didn’t even try to trick him into offering blood! That was all King!

Every time I think I can relax, there’s more crew art!!! This one’s from Bo Coburn here, and I am p e t r i f i e d. Luz is still not doing great, Hunter and Willow and holding hands?? 

He’s also the only one looking back at Luz, and it almost looks like the shack’s door is a portal? Kind of?

First thoughts on ‘Thanks To Them‘

You can tell there was more that Dana and the rest for the crew wanted to do. The signs are all there. They wanted more time with these characters and this story, and we did to.

HOWEVER! What they did manage to do in 45 minutes was some really great television. They didn’t skip out on any of the emotion, or the fun I’ve come to expect form the Owl House.

They were given an impossible task to wrap up this story in 135 minutes and I think not only are they off to a great start, they nailed it.

Bravo. To Dana Terrace, but also to Emmy Cicierga, Mikki Crisostomo, Madeleine Hernandez, Zach Marcus, and John Bailey Owen who wrote the episode, and to Bosook "Bo" Coburn and Amelia Lorenz who directed.

Really great work guys, can’t wait for the next installment.

I'm not actually TOO concerned about Flapjack rn. Mostly because of the logistical issue of Hunter being completely unable to use magic. I doubt that they send Hunter into the final confrontation without a Palisman, though it's possible IG. Also Flapjack always has been off doing his own thing, and both of Hunter's hands are full.

Anything is possible but Hunter being on the road to healing and then suddenly losing the first creature who ever genuinely loved him and he loved in return would be like....too much. Way too much. So I'm always like "there is no WAY they would do that."

I find it so funny that Bo Coburn really came down to two options. Hunter could be holding his staff which would be the most reasonable option for a promo art and nobody would bat an eye at it or he could...he cuod...he coud hOL D WI..WIL L..

BTS x The Owl House Covens

was inspired by director Bo Coburn 👀✨ i took the freedom to place the rest of the members in covens after seeing that jungkook cameo/inspired character

i chose the covens for each of them based on their personality traits/talents, except for jungkook bc his cameo in the show already had him in the oracle coven 💅

(i drew the rest of them in butter era too)

there's a possibility they might practice multiple types of magic, as jungkook was a wild witch in the show

but these are my takes 💜
