Okay, so I've wanted to draw something Genshin related since a few weeks ago, but I also wanted to draw something from BNHA, so here's a Bakugo with Paimon's clothing. A Bakumon! BakuDeku/Mo Dao Zu Shi AU

1) Izuku Midoriya as a disciple of the Jiang Sect who was born without a golden core. However, one day Deku finds out there is a different path of cultivation, a secret and forbidden one. I think the ‘attempt the impossible’ motto really suits him. 

2) Katsuki Bakugou as Midoriya’s childhood friend and a head disciple of the Nie Clan. The most aggressive and battle-focused sect? Bakugou’s home. 

3) Shoto Todoroki as the third son of the Wen Sect Leader, a widely praised future sect heir. But Deku quickly learns that being born in a prominent sect doesn’t mean being happy

SO What if All for One and the Doc had successfully gotten Aizawa Shouta and turned him into a Noumu babysitter for Shigaraki?

Here’s my take, with indispensable brainstorming input from the awesome @stillness-in-green:

Hakutaku - 白澤

Quirk: Incapacitation.

Adviser, bodyguard, and caretaker all in one, Hakutaku is an unnerving looking man shrouded in bandages, with only his eyes visible— and he has so many eyes. His powerful ability allows him to neutralize the quirk - and to a certain extent, the movement - of any enemy he sees, a task made horrifyingly easy by the fact that he can manifest those eyes anywhere on his body.

A constant companion to Shigaraki Tomura, Hakutaku is serious and sensible, if a bit strict. Protective of his charge, he is quite concerned with Shigaraki’s overall safety, whether it’s steering him away (literally, sometimes) from bad decisions, patching him up when that fails, or making sure would-be attackers never even get the chance to act.

Notes, details, and process:

Shirakumo and Aizawa are a bit of opposites, and Shirakumo and Kurogiri are inversions, so I wanted this pattern to reflect in Noumu!Aizawa - more stern where Kurogiri is lenient; holding things down in place vs. thinking with portals; and even color palette.

Hakutaku is the Japanese name for the mythical creature also known as Bai Ze. The characters in the name are ‘white’ and ‘marsh’. I choose this particular name for the color contrast (Kuro/Black vs Haku/White), but also because the ‘marsh’ (澤) character is the same character that makes up ‘zawa’ in ‘Aizawa’ (相澤). Honestly, it was a perfect find: the creature Hakutaku is said to be intelligent, have multiple eyes - eight or nine - and is a guardian spirit that wards off diseases and ills.

And so this guy was created! Bandages to cover up his identity, plus as a reference to his scarf weapon. Eight eyes that can pop up anywhere on his person, and look in any direction; a stronger version of Erasure that stops both quirks and movement; and you have what can be passed as just one powerful quirk, instead of multiple that could raise suspicion. White hair to go with all that, and make it floaty, both to reference Erasure’s activation and Kurogiri’s own appearance. Still a bartender outfit. All together a creepy, villainous look.

I feel like Shigaraki and Hakutaku might get along better! Shigaraki did keep saying Eraserhead was pretty cool, and I feel like while the no-nonsense attitude of Aizawa’s can cause clashes between the two, it could also make Shigaraki give this babysitter a bit more respect, even if reluctant. Hakutaku being able to turn off Decay might also lead to interesting developments, perhaps. Also I headcanon him more ready to give Shigaraki first aid? lol

Only issue with this AU so far is that the villains have no convenient warp transportation that made things a lot easier for them and scary for the Heroes. The thought came up, Why not have a John-chan V.2?

…So now the Dust Boy and Eye Man duo have the so called Kuro-chan:

Cat-Noumu with a duplication of the warp sludge quirk. An extremely ugly zombie kitty; has a glass skull + decorative ear to cover the exposed brain; drools smelly black drool, meows like it’s screech-choking on glass, and got bald patches losing hair everywhere. Kept all the worst traits of cats: scratching furniture, swatting at the wires of the TV, stealing and playing with Shigaraki’s hands. Joins them on missions and the battlefield; is vicious and will fight back.

Hakutaku quietly adores it. He’s the one who named it (and got it the collar and tag). Shigaraki refused to call it Kuro-chan at first, but gave in at the end because they never did come up with a better name and that’s what the cat would only respond to anyway.
