Currently this is what I'm most focused on since u kno deadlines. College doesn't leave me much time to work on anything else so I make do where I can. Since they are events I'll keep them vague with just the key elements:

Starfanged - Satosugu vampire!Satoru vampire hunter! Suguru AU, just a super simple lil obvious plot, Megumi n Tsumiki are also there, Satoru has to haul ass from a hunter with two babies cuz life sometimes sucks like that

7 Days Before You Left - covering the week before Suguru left the school, I kinda got halfway through this n then decided i could do better so hhjvhvh we'll see if i get to rewriting it, my brain is marinating

Pick up - Dazai sure doesn't pick up his phone a lot for someone that is constantly threatening suicide and it's Stressing Chuuya Out. Basically just what it says on the box

Multichapters

Lord help them I'll probably only get to them like next year cuz of college murdering me in cold blood

Dance with the Devil - Satoru's prequel for Rabid Dreams. Originally this was going to be a oneshot but....currently it sits at 30k and that's just not an amount I'm comfortable with presenting as one lone piece. I know some people have longer one shots but I like my pieces to still be relatively digestible in one sitting so yeeeeah this baby getting chaptered. It's like 80% done but i paused working on it to finish curse au and then i decided to turn it into a chaptered fic and that might need some work because i feel like some sections that worked fine in a fast paced one shot simply wont work in a multchap. Currently too busy to work on it but this is my baby, it's edgy and dark and stupid and i love it so much, i take a hammer to Satoru's head and I don't let up so <3 look forward to that

(Gang au has at least two maybe three other fics in plan but i havent started writing them yet so i wont talk about them, yeah this one kinda cracked my head open)

How to be a teen dad while navigating your emotional trauma, a guide by Satoru Gojo - Found family time with Satoru and fushiguro kids (and sometimes shoko), this has been sitting in my wips for A While cuz i ended up prioritizing other projects but I'm not giving up on it!! Family fluff, angst, Satoru being a wreck, Megumi transing his gender, Tsumiki having things to do and Shoko is there to film it all and laugh at it later, simple things

North Star - Satosugu circus AU. They are married in this :) they are miserable in so many of my fics here they just get to be That annoyingly cute couple, they earned it. Basic plot: A year ago Suguru fell off of trapeze and hadn't gotten back to it yet. Satoru tries to help him get over his trauma by being a stupid idiot. They are in love. This is just sappy romantic shit for my soul, 90% of its soundtrack is tns dance songs and of course 10 years, don't look at me i deserve this

Last time i made a list like this of my upcoming projects I think i ended up abandoning like 80% of them, but to be fair that was right before my shift from BNHA to JJK, so these might stand more of a chance uhhhh I hope there's something ppl will be excited about!

There's also Assigned Lesbian which I Am planning to continue and I Have written like half of the next chapter but.......eheheheh sorry nana fans following me you'll get your day someday

3. Are you trying anything new with your writing (style, genre, etc.)?

Uhhhh nothing particular style or genre vise but I have one major and one minor goal.

1. Get better at writing fight scenes - i fucking hate fight scenes, i really do. It's really hard for me to visualize movement and choreography like that so when I'm writing fight scenes it always just feels like everyone's flailing about. But I'm not giving up! A year ago I wasn't good with dialog either and now it's one of the things I found the most fun to write. It might be hard and not my thing but I still want to practice so I can do a decent job when I do need to insert a fight scene

2. Get better at writing sex scenes in plot fics - this is a minor goal because I don't really like to include sex in my plot cuz idk its just not my thing, i find it distracting and not the part i want to tell. But sometimes it is important for the story!! The sequel to Rabid Dreams has at least one (maybe two) sex scene that has major stakes in characters emotions, trauma and understanding and trust in each other. Just like with fight scenes, I'm not very good at them, I don't really like writing them, but when I need to use them I want them to be good!!

dude your recent demon & angel kiribaku art reminds me a little bit of aziraphale and crowley from good omens!! like aziraphale would be angrier as baku obvs but still i thought of it and it made me happy lol

A lot of people have mentioned that in the tags/under the post and that makes me!!! super happy!!!! Good Omens is one of my fav books and Crowley one of my fav characters, so the comment feels nice! I wasn’t specifically thinking about them when drawing it, but possibly a bit I was influenced anyway!! I wonder if what made everyone think about them was Kiri’s sunglasses? It’s not noticeable but I did give him glowing eyes too after all haha

Never thought of it tbh, but at this point I’m pretty sure with a lot of work on Baku’s part they’d be able to stick together long enough! He wouldn’t find it comfortable but they’d def be one of the strongest three-people-fusions in the class - not the strongest, tho, since they all have the same sort of straightforward offensive power when it comes to their quirks, I think I could find three people who’d make a stronger fusion... Baku Kiri and Momo, for example, would be even more impressive imho! Since all their quirks cover a different field, and their minds/personalities mesh well enough to have the right amount of planning and instinctive reaction/self-preservation and safety of others/pride and self-doubt/lawfulness and chaotic acting and so on. Even just as a team, without counting them as a fusion, I think they’d make one of the most balanced ones! Compared to that putting Todo Deku and Baku in the same place is just a recipe for disaster more often than not haha

It’s why I didn’t outright have Kiri mention any idea, I got no clue myself where he was going with it haha it’d be cool if his hero name were Ground Zero, because it’d mix well with Red Riot imho (Red Zero or Ground Riot or Red Ground, they all sound nice!) but what if Baku’s hero name ends up just being Katsuki, after all? How do you mix that with Red Riot? (the answer is Red Victory, or Akatsu!! from akai (red) + katsu !! ngl I’ve thought about this a lot lmao) anyway so many possibilities so little known facts!

HECK anon sorry but nothing like this would happen ever as long as I’m the one writing the AU! For three main reasons! One, I don’t think Deku is traumatized at all! His relationship with Baku at the moment is actually pretty damn neat and on equal footing, you go you two, growing so much!! Two, Baku and Todo are friends!!! And Todo would never be a dick to Baku instead of just talking to him, if he had a problem with him!! Three, even if one and two weren’t true, Deku has no need for knights in shining armor fighting his battles for him!! He’s a strong independent boy and if he hasn’t fought Baku over this it’s probs cause he doesn’t want anyone to fight him over it!!! Also in this specific AU Todo and Deku aren’t dating, so the scenario doesn’t work for me! Sorry!

I’m not gonna draw any other switch with other students, because before settling on Baku and Todo I went through a lot of possibilities and came to the conclusion that nothing would be as funny as Baku and Todo switched are (or at least nothing Horikoshi hasn’t already done himself lmao) so there’s that. I might draw more of them switched, but to be honest with you the only idea with that concept I have right now is Bakugou forgetting he’s suddenly taller and continuously walking into things around the dorms, so there’s that as well hahaha

On Zine Spooks and Screamers

For those of you that have managed to stay blissfully uninvolved in the recent BnHA Hallowzine mess, I suggest you exit immediately. A lot of shit went flying recently and this is messy as hell.

For those of you who unfortunately bought the zine, you might have seen the recent posts about the zine refunds (Dave’s post, How to file a chargeback, Official Cancellation), but what really caught fire recently was an ask sent to the bnha bday zine asking why Michaela (the main hallowzine mod) was on the project and how they planned to address it. Amy, Michaela’s roommate and bday zine co-mod, answered the question and lied about Michaela’s communication with buyers and blamed contributors for the scam ‘rumors’. This was incredibly upsetting to hear because contributors have been dealing with concerned buyers for months due to mods’ inactivity and unwillingness to answer questions, and we genuinely had no way of contacting Michaela nor even knew what had happened with the mods. And here’s the main reason why:

I will be backing this up with screenshots, but the gist is: after receiving weeks of receipt promises and updates but only getting ghosted, contributors decided that we had enough of the anxiety and stress of dealing with mods not giving us honest updates. It was two and a half months past POs closing and as far as we could tell, nothing was ordered nor even prepped. So we gave mods an ultimatum: show proof that the zine was actually where they claimed it to be or begin being honest with us within 48 hours, or we were walking out. Mods ignored us up until the final hour, at which point Michaela posted this:

Hey guys, just popping in to drop a state of the Zine sort of thing. I understand everyone is frustrated, and we’re all a little more than exhausted. I’m currently working on getting refunds for what I can, and then working toward refunding customers. I wish things had been able to work out differently, but I’ll bare the responsibility for that in not being as forthcoming as possible when it was necessary, regardless of personal reasons. It’ll take some time to process everything, and potentially recoup funds on my own time for anything that is unable to be refunded back to me. I would attempt to push through what I can, but honestly my personal health is at far too severe of a place right now to be juggling a secondary plan of action for moving forward. This was posted Saturday at 12:30 PM (PST), roughly 33 hours into the ultimatum. Michaela had left the instant she posted it and none of us could get in contact with her. 

And most distressingly, 3 hours later and nothing posted on the official blog. 5 hours. 8 hours. 12 hours.

Nothing.

That is why contributors started posting notice of the zine being cancelled, why we were so frantic to warn everyone to start filing chargebacks. It was not until a full 24 hours later when Michaela finally posted an official notice (Dec 2, 12:43 PM PST). We were already upset that a zine we all worked hard on and were happy to be a part of resulted in a mod dumping us and appearing to run off with the money.

We didn’t say it immediately, we didn’t say to be petty. We were genuinely worried that the mod had run off with thousands of dollars in a project we were all attached to.

So seeing this post, with Michaela’s roommate accusing us of spreading rumors, was incredibly upsetting. We are not the ones at fault. We are not the ones lying. Michaela ghosted the formatting mod back in August but blamed the hold ups on them (x). Dave detailed Michaela’s unprofessionalism better than I could here, but Amy attacked Dave for calling out the lies. Hallowzine mods had ghosted contributors for months--we had no reason to trust they’d be in contact. The only way we could ever get a hold of them was through multiple pings of the course of several days and we just lost that, the blog just as silent. Our work was used in this farse and we’d just been dumped. We were right to call it out. Especially since Michaela only promised refunds after we demanded receipts for everything she claimed to have purchased--amazing how demanding proof of something she supposedly did months ago is the only thing that results in Michaela doing something, hmm?

We didn’t just barrage Michaela needlessly--we offered help, we asked them for the receipts they should’ve had and a PDF they said was partially done. All of this was something that could’ve been done, but instead mods just pointed fingers and gave us vague responses that either said nothing or contradicted other responses. We wouldn’t have had to constantly ping mods if we could be given an answer straight away or buyer concerns properly addressed. 

I didn’t want to have to say anything about this because I didn’t this to drag on ever more than it has, but contributors are not the ones at fault and I am not okay with Amy blaming us for the issues on this zine. The blame is quite firmly on the mods for this and until everyone gets their money back, we’ll be damned if we were used in a scam.
