BNHA Spoilers Ahead. The most recent chapter made me notice this trend with Present Mic.
This is from chapter 166 where they talk abt quirks evolving to where they can’ be controlled:
The next time it’s mentioned Mic is directly talking with the guy who made the theory in chapter 270
This is from the most recent chapter 272. Mic is thinking abt it:
I wonder what this means for his background, possible childhood flashbacks and his upcoming fight. If there are other times it’s mentioned let me know.

Previously on Boku No Murder My Favourite Charcters Academia
In the city, the evacuation is in full swing. The kids are helping people with Burnin and all is right with the world and nothing bad is gonna happen.
OH BOY. What is he gonna do? WHY IS OFA COERCING THIS SMALL CHILD TO FIGHT OFF THE NOW SUPER OP VILLAIN???
OFA says he can't talk much, something about a recoil. He says "Exponential power has been released from its human shackles" and that "a transcendent being is coming." WELL ISN'T THAT JUST FUCKING GREAT.
We cut back to the hospital where Shigaraki is fully awake and sitting up next to a soon to be dead X-Less. Shiggy says he's cold and Mic for some reason STOPS RIGHT AT THE FUCKING ENTRANCE TO THE HALL.
The heroes are finishing off the Noumu. We got Gran Torino who really should have retired years ago, Ryuukyuu, Endeavour who Shouto is still very conflicted about and hasn't resolved any issues with yet, Rock Lock who has a whole ass family, Thirteen, and a bunch of other no names.
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING DON'T JUST STAND THERE FUCKING RUN!!!
DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE HORIKOSHI I SWEAR TO GOD-
OH MY GOD GRAN TORINO YOU FUCKING GOAT I LOVE YOU HOLY SHIT
Holy shit holy shit holy shit. Shit. I was so scared to look at that next panel god damn. I am so high on adrenalin right now lol.
Midoriya is telling everyone about the Hospital but it looks like Bakugou is the only one to look back. The heroes are evacuating and Aizawa is dangerously close to the decay. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH PLEASE DON'T DIE AND TAKE EVERYONE WITH YOU.
Oh no. Not Crust. Anyone but him. No. What a tragedy. A true loss for hero society really. I'm sorry I know he's dead now but I laughed so hard at this scene.
At least he saved Aizawa, that's all that matters here.
All the heroes minus X-Less and Crust are escaping through the really cramped hallway that leads back to the morgue. Ujiko, who Mic is still holding on to for some reason, says that everything was a loss.
The hospital is now completely destroyed and the heroes tasked with evacuating the patients are for sOME FUCKING REASON STILL THERE. I know it's only been like 8 minutes but come the fuck on.
PIXIE BOB NOOOOOO I SWEAR TO FUCK ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME YOU SELF SACRIFICING PEICE OF SHIT GOD DAMNIT
Ujiko says that all the preparing the heroes did for this day was completely worthless since Shigaraki ended up waking up and destroying everything anyway. I really fucking hate this guy.
It's like a fucking avalanche. Horikoshi. The kids. Please. Do not. Let them. Die. PLEASE.
NOOOOOO THE BABIES FUCK
MIC PLEASE LET UJIKO DIE. OH MY GOD MY BABY CAN USE 45% NOW I'M PROUD. BUT ALSO GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE.
Burnin can't get through to Endeavour. EVERYTHING IS GOING TO SHIT.
Pixie Bob is probably dead. All the heroes evacuating the hospital are probably dead. The babies are in mortal danger of being dead. And apparently Midoriya can use 45% of One for All.
Man this fucking chapter. Excuse me while I go in the corner and cry. I hope you're fucking enjoying yourself, Horikoshi.
Until next time. Fuck.

I’ve seen lots of jokes about Mic holding onto the doctor guy so tightly because he wants to arrest him & people saying he should drop him and let him get murdered, but then I thought about it for a moment and I realized something.
Mic isn’t holding onto/saving the doctor because he wants to arrest him. He’s holding onto him because the doctor is quite possible the only person alive who might be able to turn Kurogiri back into Shirakumo.

I keep thinking about the theory that after this arc Aizawa is going to be the first one to go against the Hero comission and unveal all their dark secrets but I felt like there was something missing... He's obviously going to be affected by the death of Crust and the reveal of him being the one supposed to die instead of Shirakumo (if Mic decides to tell him) but to me, he would need something more. Something that makes the hero comission the target of his anger. And what would that be?
This crazy thought has crossed my mind and I would like to discuss it: does Aizawa know the 1-A kids are in the middle of the battle?
I don't remember seeing a scene of Aizawa with any of the kids at the beginning of this arc. The only scene I remember is the "If you go, I'll go" with Mic, but the kids going to that battle too weren't mentioned anywhere. It also seems to me that they've been in different lines the whole battle.
Plus, the boys were brought to battle by the heroes they're working with in their internship and it really seemed like they had no idea about where they were going. They didn't know they were going to participate in that big battle, and of course they didn't know that some of them were going to be in the front lines (Kaminari was shocked and scared when he was brought to the front line)
So it makes me wonder... If the kids themselves didn't know anything about this mess, and they were not brought there by the school teachers, but by the pro heroes they're working with as part of their internship... What if it was the Hero comission who requested those pro heroes to bring the kids to the battle? What if only the teachers who are in the same line of battle as them (gang orca, midnight, cementoss...) know they're there?
It seems a bit suspicious to me that Aizawa, who cares a lot about his students, hasn't even slightly thought about if they would be fine... Of course, he is in the middle of a battle, he has other things to think about (not dying, for example) but I think in the Shie Hassaikai arc he was at least keeping an eye on the students (Deku, Kirishima...) while in battle.
With the decay spreading, I would have expected at least a small scene of him suddenly thinking "...the kids" and wondering if the destruction would reach them (maybe we'll get a scene like that in the following chapters, so my theory would have no sense but so far he hasn't even thought about them once)
If I think about it, and about the high possibility of one of the students being injured (my bet is on Tokoyami)... If Aizawa doesn't know they were there... It would make him really really angry
I mean, if the hero comission used the kids as soldiers in a dangerous battle like this and one of them got really injured, and Aizawa discovered it only when the heroes retreat (I can't see them winning this)... This would really be a huge reason to get mad at the hero comission.
This would certainly give him a reason to aim all his anger towards the Hero comission and would make possible that Aizawa was the one making the first move against them.
I don't know... Is this theory too crazy?
