the three of us stopped in our tracks as we folded our arms in unison. “well there… hello yn,“ he smirked as he raised an eyebrow. “what are you doing friday night?“ he asked as he took steps closer and closer to me.

“none of your business. we’ve broken up, stop disturbing me and my friends.” i spat as i pressed a finger to his chest to keep some distance.

he smirked once more, “i’ve told you i’m sorry hm, princess? we’re still together right?” he asked in a soft voice before grabbing my wrist lightly. moka had a tight grip on my other wrist, ready to pull me back if gunwook does anything stupid.

“no, gunwook. get that into your head, i don’t love you anymore.” he chuckled, “oh baby, please? i know you love me.” he said as he tightened his grip on my wrist, making my hand feel slightly cold and numb.

“let go of me, gunwook!” i yelled in despair as the two girls tried to help me but was pushed back by his two other friends. “oh princess, i’m not letting you go. give me a chance.” he asked, more like demanded.

i yelled in his face, “how many times do you want to hear it huh? i hate you park gunwook! let me go!”

“but baby—“

“hey.” a voice came from behind gunwook. we all turned to see a guy with long hair with a lolipop in his mouth. he sucked the pop once more before saying, “didn’t she say to let her go?”

gunwook snickered and smirked, “and who are you? wannabe superman?” gunwook says, letting go of my wrist as his friends backed him up. moka and yunah ran up beside me and asked if i was okay, in which i nodded to but paid more attention to the long haired guy.

“you don’t wanna mess with me.” was the last thing i heard before one of gunwook’s friends was punched to the ground. i stared at the boy who was on the ground with a shocked face before back at the guy, “you might wanna close your eyes.”

i nodded and closed my eyes, along with moka and yunah. soon enough, no punches were heard but footsteps neared us. “you’re free..!”

i opened my eyes and nudged the two girls, “who are you…”

“leehan. kim donghyun, but just call me leehan. i’m assuming he’s your ex?”

“yeah… thanks donghyun. it’s nice to meet you.”

the sound of gentle rain pattering against the windowpane was a soothing backdrop to the otherwise quiet room.

you were curled up on the couch, a soft blanket wrapped around you, trying to fight off a stubborn cold that had taken hold. your head felt heavy, and your throat ached, but you felt a bit better knowing taesan was around. 

taesan, your thoughtful and caring boyfriend, had been by your side since you first started feeling unwell. he moved quietly around the apartment, making sure everything you might need was within reach.

the comforting aroma of chicken soup wafted from the kitchen, mingling with the scent of vanilla lavender from the diffuser he had set up to help you breathe easier.

he appeared in the living room with a tray in hand, balancing a bowl of steaming soup, a glass of water, and a small dish of sliced fruit.

his eyes softened with concern as he looked at you. "how are you feeling, love?" he asked softly, setting the tray down on the coffee table. he gently pushed a strand of hair behind your ear and placed a cool hand on your forehead.

"i miss being able to breathe normally," you pouted, earning a laugh from your boyfriend. "but thank you for cooking for me."

taesan's face lit up with a small smile. "i made it just for you. it's an old recipe my mom used to make when i was sick. always made me feel better."

you took a spoonful of the soup, savoring the warmth and the comforting flavors. it did seem to ease the tightness in your chest a little. taesan watched you with a satisfied expression, clearly happy to see you eating.

he settled beside you, his presence a comforting anchor. as you sipped the soup, he reached for the remote and turned on your favorite studio ghibli movie, knowing it would distract you from how lousy you were feeling.

he didn't hover or fuss too much, just stayed close, his hand finding yours and giving it a gentle squeeze every now and then.

throughout the day, taesan kept you company, sharing quiet conversation, soft laughter, and moments of comfortable silence. he fetched tissues, occasionally giving you forehead kisses, and even sang softly to you when you started to doze off. his voice, gentle and melodic, was like a balm to your weary soul. as evening fell, you felt a bit better, though still exhausted.

taesan helped you to bed, making sure you were tucked in snugly. he placed a tender kiss on your temple and whispered, "get some rest, baby. i’ll be right here if you need anything."

you drifted off to sleep, feeling grateful and cherished. taesan's unwavering care and love had turned a miserable day into a reminder of just how lucky you were to have him by your side.

Jaehyun had just gotten home, he huffed as he took off his jacket, Annoyingly, he mumbled to himself about how his friends Woonhak and Taesan. They wouldn't leave him alone all day, and it was really starting to bother him. Ugh, he hated the way they teased him almost every day like it was some kind of game to them.

He shook his head to get rid of the snow that clung to his hair. He was so frustrated over being constantly teased by his stupid friends, As he looked around the living room, he then noticed you weren’t there,

so he began to walk through the apartment searching for you like a cute little dog. He decided to check your bedroom, only to find you in your bedroom, so focused in your phone. He walked over to your bed, he pouted when he saw that you were wearing airpods, so unaware of his presence. “Hmph,” he huffed once more, crossing both his arms in a bratty manner.

He stood there for a moment, feeling sad that you didn’t even notice him right away.. His arms still remained crossed, and he still had a pout on his face as he stared at you so intently. “Ahem!!!” he finally said, still trying to get your attention. But you were just so immersed in your phone that you didn’t even hear him at all.

after a few minutes, you finally looked up and saw the most cutest sight… a pouty, bratty Jaehyun standing right there, arms crossed. You couldn't help smile at the adorable sight right infront of you. Jaehyun looked so grumpy, with his arms crossed and his lower lip puffed out into a pout. You spoke up, your voice soft and caring. “Hi, baby,” you said, reaching for him gently. He pulled away, sulking and turning his self slighty away from you. “Do you not love me or something?” he asked, his voice almost whiny.

You could easily tell he was feeling possessive and needy, his bratty side coming in full force. “Why did it take you so long to even notice me?” he then continued, still pouty and petulant.

You sat up straighter and chuckled a little, amused by his such childish behavior but also finding it so oddly endearing. “Mm, I'm sorry, baby,” you replied, trying to soothe his poor bruised ego. “ I wasn’t intentionally ignoring you. I was just watching TikToks.” He rolled his eyes, “Seriously??” his pout was deepening. “Tiktoks??” he said, scrunching his nose as if it were the most ridiculous thing he’d ever heard in his life. “You know, I'm way more interesting than any of those TikToks!!!”

He then took a few more steps toward you, still pouting but looking Beverly so cute that you could hardly take him serious from this. “If you really love me, you would have given me your full attention,” he said, his voice still so whiny and demanding.

You tried to hold back a laugh that threatened to spill out, but he was just so adorable. “Okay, baby,” you said, playing along to his game. “I’m always all yours, No more TikToks, I swear.” He stared at you so suspiciously for a couple of minutes, as if testing to see if you were really telling the truth. But then his pout slowly started to morph into that cute little smile you always loved. “Okay, Good,” he said, uncrossing his arms and walked towards, you before practically jumping onto you with the cutest giggle.

A laugh shot right out of you heartily as Jaehyun had practically pounced on you, his whole body flopping down on yours, and his arms already wrapping around your waist. “You’re such a brat,” you teased him, trying to keep your amusement in check. He only giggled again, the such adorable sound filling the room. “Whatt? I just wanted some of your cuddles,” he protested, snuggling more into you like a little needy puppy

As he continued to snuggled into you, his face was buried into your neck, he let out a soft content sigh. “You’re so warmm,” he mumbled in your neck, his voice low and lazy. Which made you chuckle, running your fingers through his hair. “And you're spoiled,” you replied, playfully and ruffled his hair. He lifted his head just abit and pouted, still looking so cute. “But I will always be your favorite, right?” “he asked, his eyes widening to the most innocent look.

“Of course, you are, big baby,” you teased him again, rolling your eyes fondly. He let out a little squeal and swatted your hand away, “hey! Don't pinchy pinch!!!” he protested, though his smile betrayed hiw much he was really enjoying this attention. leehan's arms are snug around your waist, holding you close to him. the soft rise and fall of his chest against your back is soothing, and you can hear the quiet, rhythmic sound of his breathing.

you shift slightly, turning to face him. his eyes flutter open, and a sleepy smile spreads across his face. "good morning" he whispers, his voice husky with sleep.

he pulls you closer, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck. the scent of his cologne lingers faintly, mixed with the freshness of the morning.

"morning" you reply softly, your fingers tracing patterns on his back. the quiet intimacy of the moment makes you feel incredibly at home.
