Ernest Levaincois CH 2 Translation
Tumblr media
PART 1 ^
Ernest Levaincois is apart of BMP 0, a new batch of princes that are the far ancestors (I say far cause it's not set in the modern era) of the BMP 1 and 2 princes (They're only available on the Japanese party app & sites).
Ernest is the ancestor of Edward and Max Levaincois. They're only available on the Japanese party app & sites.
Notes: Helaina=MC. I didn't intend to post this in public at first and I am too lazy to blank out her name.
Japanese is not my first language and I neglected my studies so if there is mistakes let me know.
CREDIT ME IF USED ELSEWHERE
After travelling for days by carriage, Helaina stops at an inn. She decides to go in when she meets the silver haired man again with his atrendant.
She thanks him while she resists the urge to twitch and bows to him.
Silver Haired Man: "Look at you. I can see it written over your face it pains you to bow to me. Do not say things you do not mean. I don't need your thanks."
Well that takes her aback and she gives him a piece of her mind in a fit of anger and tells him she doesn't appreciate being spoken to like that. Then she catches herself, apologises and thanks him again.
She thinks to herself that she won't ever see him again.
Night 2 she's at an inn....she sees him again.
Night 3 she's at another inn...she sees him again.
SHM: You're not following me are you?Helaina: I could say the same for you.
SHM: I don't chase people who I don't know and whose backgrounds I don't know. Do not lump me in with you.
The Silver Haired Man's attendant steps in and asks if she is going to the Rolle Region.
Helaina says yes and she is asked what is her business there.
She is mesmerised by his amethyst eyes but she is hesitant and afraid. She feels somewhat vulnerable and terrified to tell them the truth because women having jobs is looked down upon in that era. Working women are treated with hostility.
Helaina: *I can already hear them going "Look at this woman pretending to work!"
But she tells them the truth anyway.
Helaina: My family has a medical clinic in Phillip. I am the assistant there.
Silver Hair: You assist with treatment?
Helaina: Yes.
Instead of making excuses she tells them the truth of why she is going to the region.
Silver Hair: So this means you have medical knowledge?
Both men look at each other and nod.
Silver Hair: You're coming with us then. No objections will be accepted.
Male Attendant: Our destination is also the Rolle Region. You can come ride with us. You are a woman travelling alone there are many dangers and you'll save money on carriage fares. That is if you trust that we're not bad people.
Helaina remembers that Thibault's first rule of travelling alone. The kinder a man is the more hidden motives they have but the attendant seems kind and even though Silver Hair is rude he still helped her and doesn't seem so bad. More importantly it will save her carriage fees so she agrees.
Silver Hair: I told you I wouldn't accept any objections, you had no choice in the first place!
Attendant: I am sorry, my name is Cedric. This is my master...
SHM: I am Ernest.
Helaina: My name is Helaina.
Ernest: Helaina...
Ernest: Well Helaina don't keep us back.
Ernest looked unamused and unimpressed.
On the 3 day journey. Ernest and Helaina fight a lot. Helaina keeps stopping the carriage to forrage for medical herbs according to Ernest. Helaina shoots back that Ernest shops a lot in the villages.
Ernest: I am getting the necessary supplies. Don't compare that to digging.
Helaina: *Digging?*
They continue complaining about each other till Cedric points out that they're in the Rolle Region. The first village they come across is empty. It's midday and nobody is out and about in the roads or the field. They check and it's ominous and deserted. Until they hear someone groaning in misery.

Note
heyyy where did you get the bristle/texture "flat bar wiggle" and "hessian" for your sai2 brush? i don't have those and can't find anything when i looke them up!
heya!! "flat bar wiggle" is actually a custom brush i made! i have it as a free download on my ko-fi shop, which you can find here:
⭐ SAI2 BRUSH | LOAFBUD'S LINEART BRUSH
Tumblr media
(the .bmp brush file in there is renamed as "loaf bar wiggle")
For the "hessian" texture, i can't remember if it came preinstalled with sai2 or if it came from a texture pack someone created... i'm uncertain of the origin, unfortunately! any grainy, noisy, fabric-like texture may be as effective in its place (at least i hope so!)

@pinkflamingosims asked me about using the Collections feature in Sims 2 so I whipped up a little tutorial
In buy or build mode, click on the Collections icon. It looks like a folder
Tumblr media
This will take you to the collection screen, it might take a second to open if you've sorted a lot of stuff into it
Tumblr media
There will be some collection folders already in there that Maxis made. Clicking on a folder with show you everything in it on the screen to the right
Tumblr media
You can organize, modify, add, and delete collections using the buttons I circled in yellow. I've made collections for aesthetics (desert, kids room, industrial), for community lots (bakery, flower shop, military/police station), and I left the Maxis collections that show what came with each EP
Tumblr media
Now go back to the main Buy or Build Mode tab and click on an object. In the screen that pops up there's an Add to Collection icon in the lower right. Some things can't be put into collections, like fences, but most things can, even walls and floors
Tumblr media
This screen will pop up and you can pick which collection to put it in
I use collections in 2 ways.
Any add-ons I have that are repo'd to Maxis stuff gets put in the collection folder for that EP. This way I can easily find things that match a Maxis item I'm using
I also use them to make decorating easier and remind me of the recolors I have for various things. If I'm building a tropical lot I might not think to use the Lack side table because of how it looks in the catalog picture but adding it to my Tropical collection will remind me that I made tropical recolors for it
You can add new icons to use when creating collections by going to Documents->EA Games-> Sims 2-> Collections -> and adding any appropriately sized .bmp files to the Icons folder. I've made some icons, I can't find the link right now but they should be in my Downloads tag
Tumblr media
Feel free to send me asks if there are any questions. Happy simming!

Got my EKG and the 2-way Chest x-rays done after work yesterday.
Though my bmp/heartrate wasn't triple digits like it can get to lately, the nurse did say I was slightly tachycardic. She said normal/average is anywhere between 50 and 80, so I'm assuming that I was probably in the mid to high 90s, which is believable. I walked down only one short hallway and then was sat down. While I felt my heartbeat, it wasn't enough to fully show how quick it spikes.
The last time I checked it on my own was when grocery shopping with my mother during the transition week between July and August, and just walking consistently through the isles had my heartrate at 144bmp according to my watch.
As for the chest x-rays, I had two done: a straight on view and a side view. Given it's a holiday weekend, I won't see those results show until probably Tuesday according to the nurses. However, I don't see my doctor this upcoming Tuesday so I'm sure that I'll be told those results at my next appointment with her.
In the meantime, I'm going to do what my doctor suggested as to just try to keep as my energy saved as I can, since the anemia and thrombocytopenia have been causing me massive fatigue. The B12 shots that I'll be getting for the next 6 months will help me feel a bit better, but more needs to be done to get me back in better health.
I'm just racking up the medical bills as this point lmao. Before finally seeing my new doctor I already was at $4,000+ that I keep having to adjust the payment plan for when a new bill gets added on. I actually hit my dang deductible this year between therapy, psychiatry, my carpel tunnel (De Quervain syndrome) surgery, upcoming phsyical therapy sessions, etc. I've watched my monthly payments go from being in the $30 range to now being $110 a month. :'3
I'm gonna go back to eating now.

How to Print a Digital Download from Etsy
The whole downloaded-file-to-framed-print-on-your-wall process breaks down like this:
- Save the file you purchased to your computer or thumbdrive.
- Take the file to a job printer and get it printed to the size you want.
- Take the printed file to a framer, and have it framed so it fits your décor.
Digital files are often much, much cheaper on Etsy than buying their physical item counterparts. Plus, when you buy a digital file, you can finetune it to the exact size you want for your own wall.  And once it’s printed, you can also choose the exact framing and matting combination you want.
Now, the details:
You were on Etsy or an artist’s website, and you fell in love with an image.  Perfect for your wall, but you’re not sure how the whole printing thing works.
Not to worry!  Lots of people use printable downloads every day for party decorations, invites, or coloring pages for kids (using their own home printer, if they have one), or for higher quality prestige printing for smashing wall art.  The following is a list of steps for accessing your digital downloads, and how to turn them into art you’ll be proud to see on your wall.
So, what’s a digital download, or ‘printable’?  It’s not a physical object; it’s an image file, in the form of 1s and 0s, saved on your computer or a thumbdrive.  You bought it, you keep it, and you can always print it, as many times as you like.  You can copy the file to two or three locations, so you don’t lose it.
Digital downloads come in various formats, including PDF, JPG, PNG, SVG, EPS, and more. Each type of file depends on what you need to use it for and how you are going to print it.  Printing services will specify which formats they need.
Etsy places the file to your account in the orders section and you can download it on a desktop.  They’ll also send you an email with a link to it.
Or, log into your account and click on “Purchases and Reviews.” Find the button that says “Download Files”.  If you run into troubles, there’s a Help page.  (Remember, you can’t access your digital download file through the mobile Etsy app.)
Now that it’s downloaded, you can open your file, just to check whether you have the right image at the right size.  You’ll need to use the right software.
.bmp (Microsoft Windows Photos, Apple Preview or Apple Photos, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW)
.doc (Microsoft Word)
.gif (Microsoft Windows Photos, Apple Preview or Apple Photos, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW)
.jpeg (Microsoft Windows Photos, Apple Preview or Apple Photos, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW)
.jpg (Microsoft Windows Photos, Apple Preview or Apple Photos, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW)
.mobi (Calibre, Stanza, Sumatra PDF, Mobi File Reader, popular eReaders)
.mov (QuickTime, iTunes)
.mp3 (Windows Media Player or iTunes)
.mpeg (Windows Media Player, QuickTime)
.pdf (Adobe Acrobat Reader, Most Internet Browsers)
.png (Microsoft Windows Photos, Apple Preview or Apple Photos, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW)
.psp (Corel PaintShop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, ACD Systems Canvas)
.rtf (Microsoft Word, WordPad)
.stl (AutoDesk Viewer, Microsoft 3D Viewer, Microsoft Print 3D, ShareCAD)
.txt (Windows NotePad, TextEdit on Mac)
.zip (Usually, you can unzip a .zip file with any computer.)
.ePUB (Various eReaders)
.iBook (Internet browser or Apple iBooks)
You can print image files on home printers. This is great for low-resolution art up to 8.5” x 11”, like recipes, or sewing instructions.  The downside here is that the print will only be as good as the printer itself.  For larger wall art, the best move is to take your file to a professional printshop.
This can be done online, or it can be done in person. Local Walgreens and Costcos are often quite good.  You can upload your saved image file to them using their official website, and just pick up your image, printed the size you specify, on the paper you choose, the next time you’re in the neighborhood.  There are also online choices like Shutterfly or Vistaprint, who will ship you your prints in the mail.
You’ve got your print, and you love it.  But it’s just a big piece of paper right now; what about framing?  One easy option is to select a standard sized frame, mat and glass available at the local stores or mall shops, and insert your new print yourself.  Or maybe your print deserves first-cabin treatment, and you’ll want to check out the local frame shop for the right frame, matting and glass.  Either way, totally legit.  Then just hang it on the wall, and enjoy.
And that’s the whole process. Before you buy a digital download, you should check a couple of things:
- Be sure you have the software you’ll need to open the download at home, or be sure you know where online to find a site that will open the image (such as Photopea.com, for opening a layered .psd file, if you don’t happen to have Photoshop on your own machine).
- Be sure you understand the optimum print size of the download and its aspect ratio.  Artists generally will inform you that their image will look best at a certain size, say, 24” x 18”.  Printing it larger will seem overblown, with visible pixellation; printing it smaller will cause it to lose detail.
In other words, make sure the digital download fits your needs before you buy.

Ernest Levaincois CH 4 Translation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CREDIT ME IF POSTING ELSEWHERE
Part 1. Part 2. Part 3.
Ernest is the ancestor of Edward and Max Levaincois from BMP 1 and BMP 2 and the first King of Charles. He is the latest ancestor route on the Japanese app and is only available in Japanese. Levi Alford will be the next ancestor to get a story but idk when. Not sure if I'll do it because rn I am stuck on Ivan Chernenkov's Path to Becoming King story.
They've been traveling for a week. Helaina watches as the village and countrysides fade away into towns before the carriage comes to a city that is bustling and lively more than the port city she landed at.
She is in awe at the buildings especially a beautiful white castle that towers over the city. She asks Ernest when they'll arrive at their destination.
She watches him elegantly sitting with his arms folded gazing out of the window. He tells her soon.
She thinks back to what the village chief said to her.
Village Chief: Ernest moved away to live in the royal capital.
Helaina: *So we're going to the royal capital. Lord Ernest is taking me to his mansion.*
Many times Helaina asks him during the trip what her duties will be. Ernest tells her they'll talk about it when they get there.
Suddenly the carriage stops at the pretty white castle she was just admiring.
Helaina: Lord Ernest why are we at the castle? He does not respond.
The silence is unclear and frightening.
She looks at Cedric but he keeps his eye downcast. Just who is this man? The carriage stops and is opened from the outside.
Lord Ernest commands her to wait in the carriage as him and Cedric leave. She isn't sure what to do so she peeks out of the window. There are vassals lined up on both sides as if showing the way.
Vassal: We have been waiting for your return, Your Majesty King Ernest.
Helaina:........KING????!!!!!
She stares in amazement as he imposingly walks past his subordinates who all bow deeply to him.
It's as if someone gave her an anaesthetic she is shaky and unsteady.
One subordinate who is about to follow Ernest turns back and looks at Helaina.
Servant: That person?
Ernest: What happened to the letter I sent while I was away?
Servant: Everything is proceeding well.
Ernest: I want to hear your report, please come to my office.
For a minute it seems fleeting but she thinks the King's purple eyes makes contact with her own but he turns and walks away with his retainers in tow.
Helaina staggers away from the window and leans on the seat.
Helaina: What..what does all of this mean?
Cedric comes back for her.
Cedric: I apologise for keeping you here so long.
Helaina: Cedric can you please explain?
Cedric: Sorry Helaina, there's many things I can't answer right now.
His sprite looks sad.
Helaina is flabbergastered beyond belief. Shehas spent a month with this man, travelling with him, talking casually to him, accusing him of shopping at the villages and arguing with him, never once imagining him to be the King.
And now she is on the His Majesty the King's home soil where you cannot leave the gates unless given permission.
Helaina: "I was the one who decided to follow Ernest here."
She's come too far to turn back now.
Cedric: Let's go Helaina.
Helaina is distracted by the glittering castle and it's furnishing and has to keep up with fast paced Cedric so she keeps falling behind.
They come to a room deep in the castle.
Cedric: Please step inside.
It's a room full of glass bottles, oiled paper, books, mortars and other items. She wonders if this is a pharmacy then Cedric asks her to wait then leaves before she can even say anything. She feels frustrated but looks around. Wonder and excitement engulfs Helaina as she leafs through a pharmaceutical book and discovers medicine in the room. Her frustration disappears.
King Ernest: I am sorry to have kept you waiting.
Cedric: Please excuse us.
They came in without knocking. Helaina picks up a medicine bottle from the floor and drops to her knees.
Helaina: E...Ernest You Majesty the King. She is nervous because she has no clue how to treat Ernest.
She's been harsh with him and didn't take his rude behaviour lying down before and now she has to apologise all of her rudeness away.
She is there struggling. Ernest doesn't even bother with her.
King Ernest: Cedric.
Cedric places a ton of items on the table for her.
Helaina: What's all of this?
Cedric: Medical books, pharmacology books, records of diseases prevalent in various regions around the time of the country's founding and other miscellaneous items.
King Ernest: Helaina I am giving you an order. Memorize all of these books in one week.
Helaina: .....yes?All of this in a week?
Helaina: This would take at least half of a month to memorize!
Ernest: I will accept no protests from you. This is knowledge you will need for the future.
Helaina: All of this for what? What do you need me to do?
Ernest: Understand all of this and it will become clear.
Ernest: Let's go Cedric.
Cedric: Your meals will be brought here, Helaina. There is a bedroom next to this room for you so feel free to use it. Should you need anything ring a bell and a servant will come right away. Well then good luck!
Helaina: Good luck???!
She didn't know Ernest was a king till recently. Ernest explained nothing to her, she wasn't allowed to ask anything and now she's been given an impossible task.
She feels rage and determination.
Helaina: Just who do you think you are Ernest???
She decides she'll just do the task at hand. She forcefully pulls out a chair, stares at the mountain of books and reaches out for one.
Helaina: This is a treasure trove for me if you look at it from another perspective.I'll memorize all of this and show you!
____
Leaving Helaina alone in the pharmacy, Ernest walks away with unwavering steps in the corridor.
Ernest: Bring her as much meals as she needs, that's important. I don't mind you prioritizing her over my business. Report to me about anything unusual.
Cedric: Yes I understand.Cedric replies almost the same way everytime but there is an unnatural delay. The King notices it.
Ernest: Is there somethings you'd like to say?Cedric: If you were so worried about Helaina, you should have spent more time talking to her. She seems to be confused.
Ernest: I've been away from the castle for a month. I have no time to be leisurely. If she gives up now we shall see.Cedric: You have faith in her. You should have at least told her this.
Ernest quickens his pace as if he is shaking off something. Cedric just silently follows him.
Helaina is engrossed with her reading. She has never seen such detailed reports and writing before. Engrossed in her desire for knowledge she forgets her one sided rivalry with King Ernest and keeps turning the pages eagerly.
She is so absrobed in the books that by the 5th night she has barely slept. She has memorized everything and now she looks at her notes while taking a breather.
Helaina: Charles has had periods of epidemics. Plagues that occur in the winter after a famine. I'm sure the pharmacy owner in the port city said there was a famine recently.Plagues usually start with cold like symptoms. The village leader did say that ordinary people lack adequate medical care and that doesn't help when it comes to diseases. The last time there was a major plague was two years ago.
The number of deaths were alarming, Helaina cannot believe the numbers.
Helaina: What if the disease at the village was the very beginning of a plague? Many people have fallen victim over and over again and will keep falling victim to diseases.
Taking her notes Helaina runs out of the room. Then realizes she has no idea where Ernest's office is. It hits her that she is dealing with His Majesty the King and that she is lost.
Luckily she runs into Cedric. She tells him about the plague. Cedric shows her to where Ernest is.
Cedric: Excuse us my King.
Helaina: Exc..excuse us.
Ernest: Helaina!
The King puts down his papers and gives her a funny look.
Ernest: There are two days left until our appointment.
Cedric: Yes but there seems to be something urgent to discuss.
Ernest:...Well if you want to discuss the deadline...
Helaina: It's not about that!
Without thinking she overtook Cedric and walks briskly over to the King.
Helaina: If we don't hurry now. Charles will have another plague. I read about it in the literatures. All of the pieces for a plague to rage across Charles are in place right now! If the cold in the village was a precursor to a plague it will be devastating. We need to come up with a countermeasure. Ernest just looks at her, blinks then lets out a sigh.
Ernest: So I see you've read and understood the books I gave you.
His voice is calm because he already knows what she is talking about. Ernest is the King of Charles so of course he would know the country and it's affairs better than anyone. Helaina comes to her senses and realizes that there was no need to tell him about the plague. She also realizes how rude she was in her haste and she apologises to him.
Ernest: There's no need to apologise.
He walks to her and looks her in the eye. Her heart starts skipping beats.
Ernest: I knew I wasn't crazy. In order to test your abilities I took a little bit of a forceful approach.
Helaina: * a little??!*
Ernest: You've exceeded my expectations well done!
He narrows his eyes gently and she sees grattitude, appreciation and joy.
Helaina: *So even you are capable of things King Ernest*
She says she tried to because he trusted her enough to bring her here.
Ernest: Now I know you ....but the others do not.
Cedric explains the ones doing the epidemic countermeasures are the castle doctors. If Helaina showed up they'd raise a fuss so they wanted to test her abilities before then.
Ernest: Helaina, I am giving you a command once more.Do everything in your power to help fight the plague in Charles. If you need any materials or literature I shall arrange it for you. Continue in this manner for now.
Voice: Please...wait your majesty!!

My Own BMP Paint Sample!
After a failed attempt at getting paint mixed in B&Q, my mum suggested trying the Dulux shop instead. We went with pretty low hope, and after a conversation they said if I had a physical copy of the colour (instead of the codes or a photo on my phone) they would be able to scan it and create a colour match. The book, ‘Feminists Wear Pink and other lies’ by Scarlett Curtis, cover is the exact shade of BMP so I took this back and they made a colour match! When I left here, I went to the Range and bought a range of canvases, paintbrushes and Posca pens (paint markers) for my Poster presentation.

Painted Canvas:
Tumblr media
I made a start at painting my canvases, I started with only 2 to see how the paint applied and the outcome of how it dries - the man in the Dulux shop said there is possibility of it drying lighter or darker but he was unsure unless it has been tested. From the photos I took straight away, I am extremely happy with the likeness to the cover of the book and I think it should dry more-or-less a perfect match. I will use these canvases for the base of my poster and I either plan on using Posca pens to write the information on or typing and printing information then sticking it directly onto the canvas.
