I only had one wrap left, and I spent like at least 10 minutes struggling to roll up. It was like this strawberry flavored wrap? My gf doesn't usually get this flavor, and I remember why. For some reason the wraps are just really hard to use? They are like ever so slightly longer than the other flavors, and the texture is slightly off. I kept licking it to try and get it to stick together, but it just was NOT working at all.

Eventually I gave up and just filled up the bong instead. At least I didn't waste much weed (dropped little bits and also I think a small piece is stuck in my throat cause some got in my mouth when I was licking the wrap trying to get it to work).

12:37 PM -- Sedgwick walk. 40 minutes. Schlem chat

3 PM -- DD. Smoking Rum Mac. Cortney bartending. Few new dancers. Young faces. “My first day,” one says. Call Schlem.

4:45 -- Leave for gig.

6 -- Boyle Center. Jeff & Julie. Prison City after. Six 5 oz beers.  

Text Skye on drive home. “Miss you. Coming in w/BluntVilles.” Can’t wait, she says.

10 -- DD. Small crowd. Got plate of pasta & sausage. Reign attempts hard sell on two dudes in smoke room. “Fuck off,” guy says. 

11:03 -- Home. Asleep by midnight.

12/20/22 Tuesday

Mick has sleepless night. Severe hip, leg, back pain. Can barely walk. Took opiate pain meds. Witnessed fall in basement. Sweeping. Spun around. Went down. Hit wrist. Legs gave out. Crawling. 

Helped into car for 1 PM Augustine appointment. Followed as Mare drove. Assist at Brittonfield. Load Mick into wheelchair. Wrist broken. “Small, clean break.” Doc says no issue with Mare’s long-term Klonopin use. Okay to drive. WTF. Can’t be correct. 

5 PM -- Fulton Mills. Jazz Mafia w/Vanessa. Early set up. Walk to Chubby’s for pre-gig cocktail - $4 Jim Beam & soda. X-mas tunes. Food on break. Tiny hot dogs on tooth picks. Welded to tin foil. Had to pry off. Orange cheese-ball. Crackers. Chocolate cake. Mini eclairs. Overdid it slightly.   

Text from Skye. DD x-mas party tonight. Stop on return. Chat w/the lovely Khaos. More food. Chicken wing dip. Chips. Pumpernickel/rye bread & dip. Chicken riggies. Fun size candy bars. Banana Backwoods. Bluntvilles for Skye. Bosnian guy touches Khaos inappropriately. She’s pissed.
