Sebastian Errazuriz, “Blu Marble”
Chilean artist and activist Sebastian Errazuriz’s latest groundbreaking project involves a monumental outdoor sculpture that will feature a live video stream of the Earth from a NASA satellite in space.
The work is a 20-foot LED structure that is visible during the day and night. In tandem with the bespoke screen, Sebastian and his team built a bot that rummages through live photographs from the satellite.
The bot then layers these visuals together using special software to create a harmonious live video sequence which is displayed onto the screen.
Altogether the artwork is part of a new campaign, “Pledge World by blu.”
“lu Marble is a reminder of our miraculously fragile existence. It places our very existence in perspective at a global level, as a tiny spec in space, beckoning us to live fully with awareness and mindfulness of our limited time on this vulnerable and beautiful planet,”

Eddie Davies: Ex-Bolton Wanderers owner helped save club from administration before death
Former Bolton Wanderers owner Eddie Davies gave the club a £5m loan to help them avoid administration four days before his death, it has emerged.
Documents filed at Companies House show Davies signed off the loan on 7 September, four days before he died.[1][2]
The money was used to pay off Bolton’s main creditor[3] BluMarble Capital Ltd, who rejected a first repayment offer.
It meant the Championship side avoided a 12-point deduction and a transfer ban from the English Football League.
When contacted by BBC Sport, the club said it would be making no comment “at this moment in time”.
Davies, who was 72, helped bankroll the Trotters’ emergence in the Premier League during the 2000s after first joining the club’s board of directors in 1999.
He stepped down as chairman when the club was bought by Sports Shield and chairman Ken Anderson’s Inner Circle Investments in 2016, with Davies writing off in the region of £175m[4] worth of loans to allow the takeover to progress.
Anderson acquired Sports Shield’s shares in the club after it went into liquidation in August 2017.[5]

Bolton escape administration after owner repays loan
REUTERS: Bolton Wanderers have avoided administration after agreeing a deal to pay off their main creditor BluMarble Capital Ltd, club owner Ken Anderson said on Wednesday.
Anderson had warned on Monday that the Championship outfit was facing the prospect of insolvency and a points penalty after an initial offer to repay the financial company was turned down.

However, Anderson confirmed an agreement was reached and the club now has one of the lowest debt positions in the second division.
“Following on from all the speculation, I am pleased to confirm that the loan from BluMarble Capital Ltd has been repaid,” Anderson told the club website https://ift.tt/2xaBlzd.
“I am also pleased to be able to confirm that the loans to both PBP (Michael James) and Brett Warburton have been extended on better terms for the club and I am extremely grateful for the continued support, help and assistance of Michael and Brett.
“I believe the club now has one of the lowest debt positions in the Championship. I am also pleased to confirm that the club did not go into administration and there are no points deductions or embargo implications.”

The cash-strapped champion club received a 14-day extension at the Supreme Court on Wednesday, where a hearing to decide on a rescinding petition with more than £ 1m owed to the taxpayer was postponed until April 3.
Bolton & # 39; s lawyer, Hilary Stonefrost, told the court that a deal had been agreed with a mystery buyer with a stake in another club. She added that when a sale continues, money becomes available to pay off debts.

On a number of occasions under the Anderson watch, payments were made too late to players and staff. Earlier this month, the club's training grounds were closed for a day due to a lack of fuel and supplies, while desperate staff – waiting for their final paychecks – sought small club handouts to put gas in their cars and food.
Bolton & # 39; s home formation with Millwall on March 9 was also threatened before the club managed to convince the city council that they had the means to run the competition safely.

The request for termination was submitted by HMRC, which claimed more than £ 1 million in tax payments. Other creditors were Macron, the manufacturers of the club kits, who claim to owe £ 194,753.
If Bolton fails to find a buyer and end up in the administration, they are likely to be hit with a 12-point penalty next season, rather than in the current campaign.

Bolton Wanderers facing administration, warns owner Ken Anderson
Bolton Wanderers could be put into administration on Tuesday morning, according to club owner Ken Anderson.
Anderson said he offered to repay creditors BluMarble Capital Ltd[1] a £4m loan plus interest but that the offer had been rejected.
The club could be deducted 12 points for going into administration. They are currently eighth in the Championship with 11 points after six games.
“I feel sure that they will live to regret their actions,” Anderson said.
Bolton took out a loan with BluMarble in 2015 and according to the Bolton News[2] there is a funding gap for the next 12 months of up to £13m.
Anderson added: “[BluMarble] will now need to fund the club administration going forward, which will take a minimum of three months and will automatically put the club in a two-year transfer embargo and a minimum immediate points deduction of 12 points.
“In my opinion, their actions will substantially reduce the value of the club in respect of any future sale and will make it far more difficult to find a future investor/buyer.”
