The Arcata Community Forest is a 790-acre public park and woodland area in Humboldt County, California. It’s located east of town and is easily accessible from Humboldt State University. Word has it they have the best jump line in the area. So we got the crew together to see if indeed they do have the best jump trail in the area .

Nacio el 01 de enero de 1995 en Guachochi, Chihuahua, México; Es una corredora de fondo y ultrafondo mexicana perteneciente a la etnia tarahumara o rarámuri. Se hizo conocida mundialmente tras haber ganado en 2017, la UltraTrail Cerro Rojo, una carrera de ultrafondo de 50 kilómetros, en un tiempo de 07:20,00 y por haberlo hecho además con huaraches, sin calzado ni equipamiento deportivos. A pesar de ser una atleta de alto rendimiento, no recibe apoyos deportivos gubernamentales Su ejemplo influye en niños rarámuris para desarrollarse como corredores en las alturas de la sierra en Chihuahua. Su primera carrera fuera de su país (el CajaMar Tenerife Bluetrail) la corrió en Europa, exactamente el 10 de junio del 2017, en la isla canaria de Tenerife (España), a donde había sido invitada directamente por la organización. ​ Sin embargo, en esta prueba tuvo que retirarse por un fuerte dolor de rodilla cuando ya había completado más de la mitad de los casi 100 km de recorrido.

En el 2018, Lorena volvió a participar en la Tenerife Bluetrail, finalizó en el tercer lugar de la categoría Sénior, Esta hazaña le costo el reconocimiento internacional como "la Rarámuri que conquistó Tenerife", sorprendió al mundo participando en una competencia de 102 kilómetros en la isla española. Fue la quinta mejor mujer y ocupó el lugar 110 en Overall, en el ultramaratón. Siempre que le es posible, prefiere correr con sandalias y con la ropa tradicional de su comunidad e incluso ha rechazado las ofertas comerciales de importantes marcas para que vista o calce su material deportivo. "A lo largo de su trayectoria, Lorena ha logrado colocarse en los primeros lugares de las carreras más famosas de las Barrancas del Cobre, un sistema de montañas que es parte de la Sierra Madre Occidental, superando a corredoras que contaban con más facilidades de entrenamiento y algunas de las cuales incluso eran patrocinadas por marcas comerciales". Después sus proeza, hay personas y organizaciones dispuestas a apoyar económicamente a Lorena Ramírez en su prometedora carrera como atleta profesional, el deporte nacional tiene una nueva figura, apenas tiene 24 años, por lo que le espera una larga carrera de triunfos y récords. Es la portada de la revista Vogue, México en octubre de 2019, edición de aniversario, cabe decir que la revista es especializada en entrevistar celebridades. Lorena Ramírez no utiliza tenis, ropa deportiva, ni gadgets para correr, pero ha ganado cinco veces un ultramaratón de 100 km.

La Tenerife Bluetrail es la carrera más alta de España y la segunda de Europa.​ Es una ultramaratón por montaña que ofrece diez modalidades​ de distintas características para personas con o sin discapacidad. En la foto, la Comparsa Los Joroperos recibe a los corredores a su llegada a meta.

23 ans au moment où Ian Corless capture ce moment de grâce. Elle est ici en train de virevolter en plein Tenerife Bluetrail. 101 kilomètres, 6800 mètres de dénivelé positif et pas mal de caillasse qui arrache les panards. María Lorena boucle l'épreuve en 20h11, méduses aux pieds et robe traditionnelle Tarahumara. Nous ferons abstraction du sac, rendu obligatoire par la longue liste du matériel obligatoire. Et nous pendant ce temps-là on achète des godasses avec trois millards de technologies et un slip compressif car on pense naïvement que c'est le matos qui va nous faire terminer notre prochain ultra.

On the #BlueTrail of Hungary... Csobánc is one of the highlights of the #BalatonHighlands. Similar to the other, surroudinhg hills, the 376 m high #Csobánc is of volcanic origin. These hills are called “Witness Hills”. as they “witnessed” the decrease of the land surface level during volcanic activity millions of years ago. The castle on the top of the hill is 750 years old, and omce upon a time played keyrole in the Hungarian history. Sieged several times by the Turks in the 16th and 17th century, it firmly guarded its position as border castle between the Ottoman Empire and the remains of the Hungarian Kingdom. Its heroic defenders showed their strength again in 1707, during our independence war, this time againts the Habsburgs Empire. Arouf 100 soldiers together with men, women and kids from the neighbouring villages resisted to an Austrian Army of 1000 men. The castle, built originally around 1250 was first destroyed in the only at the end of the 18th century.
