I love white and I love blue so what could be more appealing to me than a cute beach cottage exactly painted in these colors? There are a lot of details that make this little cottage a home with a big personality: The blue picked fence running along the front of the house with its unique organic shape, the blue second story terrace with the small blue French door leading onto it, covered by a blue awning. And isn’t the sun umbrella with the blue and white stripes, which gives shade to the terrace, simply darling? Even though there is hardly any front yard so to speak off the cottage is hugged by green climbing vines and a tree to the left, giving it a lot of inviting warms like plants always add to a house. When you look closely you can even see two wicker baskets planted up with pink geraniums hanging on the picket fence which bring in a little bit of a contrasting color. I find it so heartwarming to see how much charm and character a little bit of paint, some creative touches and of course plants can add to an otherwise pretty modest house. Don’t you agree?
