Testing testing Tuesday. It feels like glazing tiles - there s something in the process that reminds me of ceramic glazes and that slight unnerving anticipation that it just ‘might’ come out of the oven (in this case, my pink bucket) with something entirely different to what one was planning for. Oh well, there is little point in fighting the waves, so I m just letting the tide take me. My mum’s best friend back at home is an extraordinary ceramicist sculptor fierce, tall, beautiful woman, and she had the longest hair I have ever seen. I ll never forget the smell of the earthy studio and the glazed streaks everywhere. You often reminds me of her @julienelsonceramics. Home sick, moi? May be a little. It s that autumness slowly leaking through with the last of the real sun. I m going to try changing dyes next... and scaling. Even though I can’t seem to resist Prussian blue, or swimming in the sea at the moment. My time is impecable, not. Could my past self not start this at the start of the summer?
