The quiet sounds of the night continued for a good stretch while the kitsune tried to locate the music. She felt his presence as he had gotten closer, taking a pause to hide to see what would appear to her. Confused though but not feeling threatened, Mai brought the flute back to her lips just slightly down wind of him now, obscured a bit by some trees her and there.

Deciding against appearing in her other form, she remained in the humanoid appearance. Sitting atop a few large rocks, small soft orbs of souls at peace around her as she continued to play for them. Upon a glance one would assume she were human, but further inspection would reveal otherwise.

Mai would continue to play regardless of his approach, her music would keep the air calm should what ever it is that sought her out felt unsure at first. A mischievous demon yes but not one of harmful intent. Ears held back softly against her head, tail tucked neatly around her crossed legs, welcoming the strange spirit that followed her tunes.

-Littlemediumella- Mai The Fox Demon: Amongst the late evening winds came a soft tune. Distanced and ghostly but oddly warm and welcoming. The music would continue without a care as to who or what hears it.

...that distant sound...

Haunting yet enticing. A enchanting tune so gentle, enough that the small dog stirred from his ‘late afternoon’ nap. Two ears perked up as Mystery rose from his dog bed, stretching out his back and front paws. A nightly stroll wouldn’t be too bad, so long as Vivi doesn’t come home early from the book shop. 

He took his kitsune form, and using that newly granted speed he shot off towards the source of the ghostly melody. The large creature halted, just outside the town’s county line looking rather confused. 

“It should be around here...this is near the spot, but I do not see the source of such haunting song...”

Did a quick updated image for my Alicorn-sona because it needed something a bit new that was also full body, not chibi. I had fun with using a softer form of shading that JUUUUST makes it past being flat color but makes it pop? I dunno just having fun with it.
