you kind of never understood what you signed up for when you tried to give the boy in the corner of your math class a chance. I mean, it was a date. How serious could it possibly get, right?

well, you seriously reconsidered all of that when you saw him climb through the window of your room, drenched in sweat, mouth bruised and lips bleeding.

"fuck! 𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐧, what the fuck are you doing here?"

and your eyes slowly glazed from his sheepish expression down to the claw-mark-like-tears of his skintight, bright red suit.

"you're fucking spiderman!?"

"I can explain!" he said, walking on the wall and shutting the window from the inside, "I didn't mean for you to find out like this."

you scoffed, hurrying to shut your door so your parents wouldn't hear. "𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐧," you said, giddy from a rush you didn't know you got from seeing your boyfriend as the spiderman. the same spiderman whose posters you have plastered over the wall above your desk.

"what—what a surprise!"

he looked down and scratched the back of his head. "yeah, I seriously wanted to tell you in a better way."

he began to explain something, but you weren't listening. the way his hair ruffled to cast a shadow below his eyes, the way his teeth shone with his bright, blood-red lips as he smiled, the way fingers drummed on his thigh as he thought of ways to form his sentences. oh shit.

your boyfriend's spiderman.

you ran to get the first aid kit from your closet — that you had for some damn reason. I mean, how often do you have friendly neighborhood spidermen climbing through your window with giant claw-mark-like-wounds in their chest?

so there you were, sitting on his lap as he rested his fingers on your waist, scanning your every reaction to his words as he spoke, absentmindedly, about how he got the biggest cut he's gotten yet; and how he survived it, of course.

and you smacked him, of course. because what would you do, you thought to yourself as you ran your fingers through his hair and made his voice trail off from the sudden touch, if your boyfriend had something happen to him?

but that didn't matter either, you told that part of your mind to shut up as he leaned closer, dragging his surprisingly soft fingers up your back and into your hair, because your boyfriend had nothing happen to him.

he was your friendly neighborhood spiderman, after all.

“Miyoung you can’t have dessert before dinner. If you do, then your brother and sister need to have the same.” you chastise lightly, one of your hands rested on your rather round pregnant belly.

Your six-year-old whines and pouts begging you to let her have dessert first. Your younger daughter, Chaewon, was content sitting on the couch playing with her stuffed animals. You had no idea where her twin brother was but you’re sure he’s bolting around with Jaemin close beside him.

As if on queue Seojun came barreling towards you and, of course, your husband wasn’t far behind. Both your daughters are so incredibly mild and calm but your son on the other hand, matched his father’s energy entirely. He took after his father in almost every aspect, same soft grey fur (with hate of being brushed), same tastes in food, and same energy levels. Both Miyoung and Chaewon have pale brown fur covering their ears and tail and share the same gentle temperament that is completely opposite to their brother and dad. Chaewon, however, has a patch of white fur on her ears on the very ends of them, which Jaemin absolutely adores.

“Why are you yelling at my Mi-mi?” Jaemin asks when he finds his way to the kitchen.

“She’s trying to get dessert before dinner.” you sigh, placing your hands on your hips.

“But mom, if I have dessert now I won’t be as awake as if I have it after dinner.” she says with big pouty eyes.

“Miyoung, I’ve already told you, if you get it then so do your siblings. They’re littler than you and they can’t have too much unhealthy stuff, you can’t either for that matter.”

She whines slightly again and looks at Jaemin. She’s smart, she knows Jaemin will cave and let her have her way. He turns and looks at you asking with his eyes if she can have her dessert. You usher her off to go play with her sister and brother while you talk to Jaemin.

“Jaemin, no. Do you really want to try to get Seojun to sit still during dinner after sugar? What about getting him to lay still in bed later?”

“But look at her!” he muses, “She’s so cute and she’s been so good today too. One day of this won’t hurt.”

“She’s doing your face that you give me! You should be immune to that pouty face!” you giggle slightly.

“Just this once?” he pouts at you.

“You said that last time too, my love.” you tease, kissing his cheek, “If you’re willing to get your son to sit still and into bed later then fine.” you smile lightly, your hands resting against his chest.

sunwoo whined, his plump lips forming a cute pout. you laughed at him endearingly, to which he replied with a frown.

he's been asking you to cuddle with him for the last hour, but since you were in class, you told him to wait. I'm telling you, neither do you like the fact that you have to wait another thirty minutes to cuddle with your boyfriend.

“five more minutes,” you smiled at him rather apologetically.

however, he couldn't take it anymore. sunwoo stood up and went to you, making you panic for a moment. he took another chair and placed it beside yours, sitting on it before pulling your figure to his warmth.

“My camera is on, sunwoo!”

“who says I care?”

“well, I do—” he cut you off by placing both of his sweater paws on each side of your cheek, leaning forward to connect your lips with his. your heart was beating so fast, nervous about the fact that some of your classmates must be watching you right now. although, you liked it, a little.

when sunwoo pulled away, your cheeks heated, eyes glancing on the ongoing class that was now awkwardly silent. you looked at your classmates and noticed them having all their mouths agape, even the professor.

“y/n, if you're just going to make out in front of us, make sure to have your cameras off. geez, kids these days...” the professor muttered, talking to you.

you laughed nervously, glaring at sunwoo, who was now smiling sheepishly at you. “I hate you,” you mouthed.

“I don't think so,” he teased, pulling you for another kiss. but before he could, you stopped him and faced your laptop again, leaving the class. sunwoo was surprised with what you did, but he didn't waste any seconds before engulfing you in his arms, placing kisses all over your face.

“If I fail this semester, it's going to be your fault, you clingy baby.”

an unnoticed shiver you dismissed absentmindedly caught soobin's attention, taking his jacket off and draping it around your shoulders as you tried to rub the tears away, trying to wet your eyes.

"soobin," you whispered, slightly chuckling to yourself as the cologne from his jacket wafted through the air and spread around the two of you, feeling yourself ready to drown in his scent, "why did you bring me here?"

he tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear and blinked his eyes thoroughly. maybe it was the wind getting to him too— or the fact that he wasn't blinking from staring at you for too long. whatever was the case.

"I don't know," he admitted at last. he finally stopped tracing patterns on your features with his gaze, placing his head on your shoulder as he found his fingers lacing within yours. he looked up at you slightly from whatever he could manage with his nose inching closer to being buried in the crook of your neck, and saw you, mesmerized by the night lights as ever.

maybe it was just that he finally wanted to show the 𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔.

"Babe, can you please open the door?" The speaker said and you sighed and rolled in your bed, "Why can't you just ring the bell like normal people, Mark Lee?" 

"Please open the door, I have a bunch of stuff-"

"You have a key! Just let yourself in for fucks sake, I'm too comfy comfy." 

"I didn't bring my key because you are home, get your lazy ass up, this shit's heavy Y/n." 

You got up and dragged the blanket along with you as your fingers dragged along the locks to unlock them. Your boyfriend stood there in a hoodie and a bunch of bags which probably had snacks in them. 

You couldn't even bother fixing your hair and he let out a small giggle when he saw it. You tutted at him and walked away with your blanket. You were annoyed at the fact that he made you get up when you told him you were comfortable in bed.

After hours of struggling and missing your boyfriend you had finally found a position in bed which made you feel comfortable. The bed didn't seem all that huge with pillows all around and you were satisfied only to be disturbed by him. 

You sat on the couch and wrapped yourself up in your blanket as he put away all the things he bought. When he was done he sat down next to you and tried pulling you closer with all his strength. Your feet flailed to get out of his grip but you failed and ended up sitting on his lap with your face the other way because you were mad at him.

"What did I do now?" Mark whined and tried to make you face him but you huffed out a breath and turned to him, you brought your hands out of the blanket so that you could show him your fingers, "1. You stood me up yesterday. 2. You didn't even text me that you stood me up yesterday. 3. My boyfriend hasn't contacted me in a week and he hasn't even told me why and he won't even let me visit him. 4. My boyfriend didn't eat dinner yesterday. 5. You bought a bunch of unhealthy stuff and now I'll get fat and then you'll break up with me because I'm fat." 

He smiled and buried his face in your neck, "Bitch! Say something? What are you a fucking cat? What the fuck?" You groaned trying to pry his head off your neck, he planted a kiss there and looked up at you, "I have been busy, I'm sorry about yesterday. Who told you I didn't eat? And if I buy snacks, it's for us, we'll both get fat together." 

"Where did you change your clothes and take a shower, the entire week?"  You asked him and he giggled, "At the dorms." "What's funny?" You poked his cheek and he smiled brightly. "You care so much about me, it makes me feel loved."

"You didn't eat yesterday!" 

"Who told you that?"

"Jaehyun!" 

"He's always out for blood, he always makes you and me fight and then he finds amusement in it and then he'll solve it like he's a hero. And you get convinced by him each time so you end up fighting me." 

"He doesn't lie about this stuff, and even Taeyong called me to ask if we had a fight or something because you didn't eat yesterday." You looked at him for clarification and he just sighed in response.

"I was too tired to eat." He hid his face in your neck because he knew that if he maintained eye contact with you, you would give him a long lecture about how he needs the nutrients and how dumb he is for not eating properly.

"I'm sorry I didn't come home this week, I missed you so much babe. I had so many schedules and then when Manager told me I have work each day, I was just too tired to come back home and I didn't want to annoy you because I'd be too tired to even speak to you. So I ended up staying at the dorms. And honestly, my phone's just there, I have a week's worth of messages on there that I haven't checked. I haven't even called my mom, the entire week." Your hand pushed the hoodie off his head, his bright green hair was a mess underneath it. Your hand fixed it and you smiled at him as he constantly stared at you like a lost puppy.

You kissed the mole on his cheek and slowly opened your blanket so that he could have some of it too. You sat on his lap and stared at him for a good amount of time before falling asleep on his shoulders. His warmth made your coldness go away in an instant. Your hands were intertwined and he slowly pulled his hand away and placed it under your waist. He walked towards the bedroom with you in his arms, he slowly placed you on the bed and you moved around trying to find him and your eyes shot open when you didn't feel his arm around your waist.

He smiled at you as he placed his hoodie on the hanger and walked towards you. Your arms extended towards him and he giggled at how clingy you were behaving. "I'm here baby." He said and played with your hair.

"Where else would you be, loser?"

★ [ ▬ 12:00 AM. ] ★ You always had a love and hate relationship with your best friend—every day he would always find a way on how to annoy the shit out of you but sometimes, he’ll be as clingy as hell.

But right now, you decided to pretend that you’re avoiding him as it was 4 minutes left before Midnight, July 17, 2021—your most beloved best friend’s birthday. He was currently sulking in his room, genuinely upset because of the lack of affection you were giving him. Little did he know, you organized a surprise party for him.

You figured that he was already sleeping before you taking the cake you bought for him out of the refrigerator as you lit up the candles, one by one.

Tiptoeing to his room, you knocked on his door but there was no response from him, you quietly placed your hand on his doorknob and twisted it, fully opening the wooden door of his room.

But suddenly, you were startled by the hand you felt on your shoulder which caused you to scream and get out of balance, yet before you could fall on the floor, Wonwoo snaked his arm around your waist for support. Both of your faces weren’t that far from each other, more like a few inches apart.

You would be staring at him for longer than a second until you remembered the cake you were holding. Well, it was smashed, the icing scattered around the floor, making it look messy. You let out a groan of disappointment, “I swear to god wonwoo, I swear to god.” You said annoyed, but he just laughed at your reaction.

“It was a great surprise, y/n. It was a great one, even though it failed.” He muttered near your ear which gave you goosebumps as he suddenly kissed you on the cheeks.

“Happy Birthday to you, I guess.”
