           to say he’s shocked would be an understatement of the highest caliber.  for a second, yukio isn’t even sure this is actually happening, nearly convinced that his mind is playing tricks on him.  but slowly, he comes to realize that this is real, and that he should probably react so he doesn’t look like a complete asshole.  his own arms wrap around his brother in turn, returning the tight embrace that had caught him so off-guard.  when was the last time rin had hugged him?  he honestly can’t remember anymore – they’ve never been especially affectionate as brothers, at least not in a physical sense.  he’s never really thought about it much, but now the absence is very apparent in his memory.  oh the mistakes he’s made…
