There was something about the lovely curve of Paty’s bottom that always drew Adam’s hand to it while they were alone. He couldn’t help himself as they were both in the kitchen cooking up that night’s dinner. Since he was at a moment he could step away from his task, Adam leaned one hand against the counter next to Paty and used the other to slide onto her bottom, giving it a nice squeeze.

Jake sighed before he finally tangled the papers back together and set the exam booklet on the pile before going back to the marking sheet and writing the mark and percentage beside the person’s name. He ran his hands down his face before he sighed and looked at the pile he still had left to do. “I really should have installed a coffee maker in here,” he commented to his assistant, who had her own pile of marking booklets she was marking. He looked at the clock. Almost ten thirty. He shook his head before looking at her and saying, “it’s getting pretty late. You can go home and I can finish up these. Would you need a ride?”

Calvina squeezed Paty’s hand tight as she led her through the penthouse straight to the bedroom. “Tonight’s gonna be extra special. You trust me, yeah?” The question was rhetorical; they both knew the answer already. Cal’s place was big when it was just her alone, but it was the perfect size to throw a famous Calvina Nyx party. It also felt much less empty when she had company over, and she preferred to entertain than to be alone. When she opened the bedroom door, it was obvious she had put a considerable amount of effort into making tonight perfect for the two of them. Every surface except the bed was dotted with flameless candles, designed to flicker as if they were real. There was also a bucket of ice with a bottle of champagne nestled inside. It was romantic- which was not Cal’s usual style- and she hoped it wasn’t too much for her lover. She voiced her concern, “Do you like it?”

The grand opening for his new restaurant was a success. The place was packed with friends, family, the media, and celebrities that knew him. Although, Percy would have been grateful for just a simple grand opening, he was a Sinclair and it entitled to money and the social media. But none the less, it was a success and it was everything he had hoped for.

The momentum was dying down now. All the celebs and important were full and gone, Percy can finally breathe and stress less. He had was just pouring himself some red wine when he noticed a pretty face, that he hadn't seen earlier, and decided to check on her. "Hey you, I didn't know you were here. Did you manage to get a table and try out the menu?"

Kian had been prepped all day for this moment. It was his first test at the lab, and the male was feeling a mix of emotions. Curiosity, worry, excitement, and fear all swirled in his mind as he sat on the table in the test room, his slender frame nude and his hands resting patiently in his lap. He watched the woman walk in with cautious, curious eyes, wondering what exactly she was going to test him with.

Feeling the sun in his eyes, Jake groaned slightly as he squinted his eyes. The dun was gently shining through the curtains from the large sliding doors close to the balcony that looked out on the beach. He smiled a bit, looking down at the small form beside him. Patty still looked peaceful as she slept soundly, curled under the blankets.

Turning slightly, he moved to look at the clock. A little past nine in the morning. It was nice to sleep in though. He smiled a bit, moving to now kiss her cheek before he carefully moved out of the bed, careful not to wake her as he took a small blanket from the bottom of the bed to drape over her so the heat wouldn’t be gone. 

Carefully putting on a pair of pants he then moved silently to the downstairs towards the kitchen. He was sure that she would be hungry when she woke up.

Sebastian’s brows raised and he found himself staring at his partner as if she’d grown another head. “You’re pregnant? With a baby?“ His eyes darted to her still flat stomach, imagining a baby in there. His baby. Their baby. “When did you find this out?” He rose from his spot on the couch as he asked her, casually placing his hands around her waist. His heart was pounding in his chest, his thoughts all over the place. A baby! Despite himself, a grin worked itself onto his lips.

Against his fathers wishes Locke had decided to go to the ball being held a few kingdoms over. His family hardly left the walls of their own kingdom, but Locke was bored and wanted to have some fun for a night.
