hey 👋 dumb idea i had for the road trip fic

so the gang stop at a gas station to pee and stock up on snacks and stuff. joan and jfk are just standing there while gandhi and cleo are like “RAAAHAHAHA BUY THE FIRST BAG OF TOOTH ROTTING CANDY YOU CAN FIND.” and Abe gets a huge battery pack at a shockingly low price (he’s very proud so he will not stfu abt it 💕) and so joan tugs jfk’s sleeve like “c’mon”

And now they’re hanging by the slushie machine, mixing and trying all the flavors (JFK gets blueberry and Joan gets cherry). Joan dares JFK to drink straight from the machine, so he does and makes a mess (don’t worry, they clean it up), and they talk about whatever and kiss for a while. Then, Gandhi, Cleo, and Abe see them are like, “Oh hi. 😨🤯😄😳” and Joan and JFK are like, “Heeey….” and Gandhi falls to the floor and starts losing his mind, banging on the floor and laughing. JFK’s like, “Wtf are you laughing at???? bitch ass hoe” and Abe’s like, “Uhm your….” he gestures to their faces, and Cleo shakes her head and steps forward, she says: “your tongues are purple.” Joan's heart drops, and she runs over those round security mirror, and you can hear yell while JFK’s very proud of himself but then takes her hand because they literally have to go.

For the rest of the car ride, Joan won’t spare a glance at JFK due to embarrassment eating her alive 💔
