Controversial takes:

In ng bad end drama, it was stated by yashiki that Rosé was a friend of Saya. Sure sounds normal until u realized that Rosé was actually a doll if u had Rosé killed during the investigation. And in the blue demise, after hearing about Saya’s death, blue demise!Rosé actually grieved over her death. What do i get out of this?

1. Whatever saya and rosé had is the equivalent of whatever yashiki and mashita have right now

2.It’s in the Kujou blood to charm haunted dolls and supernatural beings

It keeps irking me about the writing of Aoki Shuuen, where we saw the "allies" died horrible ways because they picked the destroy route to deal with spirits.

Except Mashita, Mashita is killed by the Master of the Mark wearing Yashiki's body.

And even after that, Mashita still comes back to save Yashiki's soul, he is literally the only ally that Yashiki earned in Aoki Shuuen route. Not to even talking about that Mashita was the one Chekhov's gun to save Yashiki's soul, with the planning of the golden gun and leading all the fallen "allies'" souls back to help destroying Master of the Mark.

While Aoki Shuuen pushed at Yashiki/Mary, it stills has Yashiki/Mashita lingering around.

I love that ship where both characters are introduced as friendly, only for one to turn out to have been lying the whole time and try to kill the other, all of which eventually culminates in their defeat and dramatic (and literal) fall, only then for them to return as a reluctant ally of their once enemy who knows them way too well and whose new relationship with them is largely interpreted as bantery. What do you mean which one.

It so funny when canonically yashiki (or kujou) can cook but we have never seen him eat anything decent. Like in dm2, he dead ass eat mushrooms and a doll head. Nearly half of the fandom believed that the overly sugar blood coffee is his main consumption( and lets not forget about the honey he get from the cult). Which is even funnier that one of yashiki random feats is he forgot to eat for an entire week. U got the skill to cook why is your damn diet so cursed??

Legitimately, the amount of Blue Demise vibes that were blaring in the DLC makes me side eye. The white dress, Yashiki talking about potentially "saving" Mary as well as destroying her, Mashita warning Yashiki at the end to not get too wrapped up in her as he senses she'll reach out to him somehow, and how everything that occured in the AU happened because Masamune was too empathetic of Mary's situation and tried to save her. Don't you dare, Yashiki.

Also an Akira and Yashiki team up would still be amazing to see. They'd work well, I think.

Aoki Shuen (Blue Demise) route is stated as an alternate universe to Death Mark's true canon route, although I think there are several elements in it that could still be relevant in later installments of the franchise. Namely: - The Golden Gun: This is a gun crafted by Rose, as stated by herself in Aoki Shuen, given to Mashita, which can kill both humans and spirits. There isn't any mention of this weapon in canon route yet, but we know Rose does exist, so high chance is, the golden gun does exist too. - White Mary: As of fundraiser's exclusive DLC of Death Mark 2, we know the white dress has made its existence in canon route. Whether this will lead to Master of the Mark's appearance or not is undecided. - Hyakki Yakyo (Night of Hundred Demons' Parade) phenomenon: Mentioned in Red Riding Hood DLC and explained a bit in Aoki Shuen as a record of supernatural phenomenon involving grotesque dolls, now explained in Mary's New Color DLC further, concluding that all the events in the three games (Death Mark 1, NG and Death Mark 2) are all Hyakki Yakyo. This would eventually bring up the question as to where or whom the dolls originated from. - The ability to create doll with soul: Practically, this would be a combination of Yashiki's and Akira's abilities. Maybe they will work together soon.
