✨ pokémon AU! 🔴✨ clora is mainly fairy & psychic (bc shes sweet but also smart) whereas seb trends towards fire/dark (even tho i only ended up giving him 1 dark pokemon...shhh) i originally gave him a houndour, bc dark + guard dog was such a perfect combo for him, but arcanine ALSO suits him and is way cuter so i had to go with that 🥹 and i had to fit in a raven and a snake pokemon somewhere bc...cmon🥰 BAHAHA

TYSM to the anon who inspired this!! it was so much fun

Some of my favorite Pokemanzzz

I felt like my art has been looking really stiff and flat, so I did a deep dive on art tutorials. Cartooning, line of action, everything. And OMG I’m already improving so much I’m so excited.

My advice to you, if you ever feel like you’re stuck/not improving, take a break and go read books on what you want to improve on. Theres plenty of online books to choose from, and even if it’s in a different style from what you usually work on, it’s still worth checking out because the principles of realism, especially line of action, still apply to cartoons too.

Some books I highly recommend are “The Silver Way” by Stephen Silver, “Character Animation Crash Course” by Eric Goldberg, and “Creating Characters With Personality” by Tom Bancroft
