Q: "Why did you make a Chibimon be a baby form of a LordKnightmon"

A: I saw a very cute Japanese fanart of a Chibimon and Caprimon as the babies of LordKnightmon & Dynasmon and... the Chibimon had a rose in hand. I felt in love with that idea and decided to adopt it asap.

I'm sure those babies were the RK from Frontier, but here Blu is not related to Frontier's Jessie-and-James-failed duo. He's just a funny mon.

.:Blu’s memories

This mysterious and cheerful digimon – Chibimon – hides a secret. But before going into it… Blu was a small round baby digimon from a distant village, a kingdom far away from the lands the Chosen Children knew. There, he was trained to serve A King Shoutmon, and achieved his highest level without the help of human devices. Digimon rarely reach their final form in nature, due to the conflicts and the number of dangers the Digital World hides from the eyes of its visitors.

Blu is actually called Rhodo. It’s a cute pun on his final form – LordKnightmon. Once the king died and the kingdom was disassembled, Blu wandered around the modern Digital World, learning its new legends and development. He heard about a human child partnered with a Chibimon, and his curiosity led him to the Human World… As a small Chibimon.

A boy named Daisuke and his own Chibimon found Blu on their way to school, and they decided to take the small mysterious digimon with them. The baby couldn’t be mistaken for Daisuke’s Chibimon because he spends most of his time as V-mon now, but having a “second” digimon felt odd for Daisuke. Is he like Wallace now!? Having twin digimon!? Huh…

Blu got attached to this kid and V-mon too quickly that now he considers their loyal knight. But, at the same time, this knight-like digimon wants to study humans and the human world, and its relationship with the digimon and the Digital World.

→ LightniKaiser verse: Lightni adopted Blu. → Chef Lightni verse (gen): Lightni befriended Blu and he started to protect the boy. → Gen (Advverse) verse: Daisuke just babysits him, but he can go out and do whatever he wants to, and switch forms. None of Daisuke or V-mon are aware that LordKnightmon is Blu though, they think they’re different individuals.
