I've been 30 for just under 24 hours. I've got just about 45 min left of my first day being the big three oh... And all I've gotta say is this year has been fucky as hell. Mental health is shot. Physical health is shot. But I'm here? I'm trying? And honestly... I still kinda hate it

But tomorrow is a different day, just like today was different than yesterday. All I can do is hope that the days following will be better.

I've got my first commissions? And like. The big projects are a set of ref sheets and a logo set? Plus some other pieces. Some ponies, some not. I've got a painting of my WoW Blood DK, my main at this point, Thaalrysa that I'm super proud of. (I'll attach the WIPs!) It's still being worked on, but fuck. There's a lot there. 2 weeks of work and it looks so good?

All I know is I'm trying. This coming year will be better. I will be better. And I will do better.

(also, the dracthyr are adorable and while Thay is my bby I love my gal Lachisys so much... Scales are just so hard to draw... And I convinced my dad to gift DF to my baby brother and I so we can play it together.)

so i know i was just on here freaking out abt our broken down car last week and here’s an update: the battery was fried so i ended up spending my entire paycheck buying a new one ❤️ there’s something else deeply wrong with it that could kill it at any moment but at the moment we have no choice but to deal with it bc it costs $1300 to fix

anywayyy so i am the only person in my household working because my mother & brother are both disabled and are having a hard time finding jobs which means we are consistently extremely tight on money. which also means we haven’t been able to buy groceries in about 2-3 weeks and now we can’t get gas either. the point of this is to e-beg sorry but idk what else to do lmfao we legit have nothing to eat 😭😭 even enough to at least get gas or order pizza to last a day or so is appreciated
