Blitz’s New Pet
A Christmas gift for @loli-momo1908 enjoy ^^
Blitz was peacefully asleep until he felt a squishy pink nose on his cheek. Confused by this, he woke up and saw Fat Nuggets on his chest looking at him.
Blitz - *annoyed* “Can I help you?”
Fat Nuggets lick his face much to Blitz’s dismay and then he laid down his back and wiggle his legs. Blitz sighs in annoyance since he knows that means Fat Nuggets wants a belly rub. Blitz sat up and began to rub Fat Nuggets tummy much to the pig’s happiness. Then he heard footsteps and saw Angel by his door.
Angel - *gushing* “Aww so cute!”
Blitz - *rolls his eyes* “Piglet here came into my room while I was asleep. Again.”
Angel - “Aw Blitz. That’s just Nuggies way of saying that he likes you.”
Blitz - “Yeah but he could have at least waited until I woke up.”
Angel - “Alright Mr. Grumpypuss. And I thought Husk was the grouch of the hotel. Come on Nugs, it’s breakfast time.”
Fat Nuggets then followed Angel to get some food. Blitz sighed and decided to get ready for the day.

Downstairs, Charlie and the others were eating breakfast. Then Blitz came downstairs and saw his sister also eating some waffles.
Sophie - “Hi big brother! Did you sleep okay?”
Blitz - *smiles* “Yes. Well, until a certain pig woke me up.”
Sophie - “Oh yeah. Nuggies does that to me too sometimes. But Angel told me that’s just Nuggies way of saying he likes me.”
Angel - *mockingly* “Told ya!”
Sophie - “Do you wanna see Nuggies’ way of saying he gotta go potty?”
Blitz - *grossed* “Uh no thank you,”
Charlie - “So Blitz, I heard your internship is today. Are you excited?”
Blitz - *shrugs* “I guess so. I mean, I’m not sure if Mr. Hogsworth will accept me as an intern. I heard he’s tough to get too.”
Angel - “Hey you’re one of the most badass demons I know. He will accept you.”
Blitz - *smiles* “Thanks Angel.”
Husk - “Yeah kid. You don’t need some shitty ass job like a waiter or cashier as some fucking fast food place.”
Charlie - “And I told you before Blitz, you can work at the hotel.”
Vaggie - “Plus you know we don’t charge people here to pay rent.”
Angel - “It’s true. With more money I have, it’s easier for me to buy shit like clothes and my special meds.”
Sophie - “You get sick Angel?”
Angel - *nervously* “Sometimes. But it’s because these broads *points to Charlie and Vaggie* don’t let me have them.”
Vaggie - *annoyed* “Maybe because these “special meds” aren’t allowed in the hotel.”
Charlie - *laughs nervously* “Anyways, Blitz you sure you don’t wanna work at the hotel? I mean you are a great cook after all.”
Niffty - “Ooh I would love the bat boy to work in the kitchen with me! We can share secrets.” *giggles*
Blitz - *a bit freaked out* “Uh no thank you. *to Charlie* I appreciate what you wanna do Charlie, but I need to find a job that fits me. Besides, this job can help me get stronger and maybe even discover new moves.”
Charlie - “Well alright. But just in case you are always welcome to work here.”

After breakfast, Blitz went to the Hogsworth Dojo of The Soul. He entered and saw a couple of people training and others teaching. He saw Hogsworth's office and knocked on the door.
Hogworth - “Come in.”
Blitz entered and saw Hogsworth who was a pink demonic human who has muscular arms, but has a chunky stomach, pig snouts and ears. He also had red eyes, two horns on his head and
fangs sticking out his mouth. He was wearing a tangtop and blue shorts and was also barefoot which look like pig feet.
Hogsworth - “So your Blitz McKnight huh? The Badass Bat Demon?”
Blitz - *confused* “Uhh…yeah?”
Hogsworth - “You know, I heard a lot about you. Especially the “Blitz-zilla” incident.”
Blitz groans and blushes at that. Even though it been months since he was in his final demon and cause rampage all over the city, he doesn’t like to be reminded how he nearly destroyed the city because of his anger. Ever since then, he tries other ways to control his anger and not let anything like that happen ever again.
Blitz - “Well…I assure you that won’t happen again.”
Hogsworth - *shrugs* “Eh. We all have our moments of shame. But there is something I wanna do.”
Blitz - “Really? What is it?”
Hogsworth - “Fight me. To see if you are worthy.”
Blitz - “Well I don’t see how-“
With a surprise, Hogsworth surprised with an upcoming punch which Blitz quickly jumped out of the way. The punch even broke the chair that Blitz was sitting on.
Blitz - *serious* “Okay. Let’s do this.”
Hogsworth and Blitz began to fight each other. Blitz would dodge his punches and kicks while Blitz threw some of his powerful moves. He even did them without his magic involved. While Hogsworth did land some hits, Blitz landed even stronger ones. After 20 minutes, Hogsworth and Blitz were panting after fighting and the office was destroyed with broken chairs and desks.
Hogsworth - *pants* “Ya know…I never met a fighter like you.”
Blitz - *pants* “Well, I’m not…Like most fighters in Hell.”
Hogsworth - “Honestly, a paid intern is too good for you.”
Blitz - *confused* “Wait what?”
Hogsworth - “Intern for those who can’t fight. You just prove to me that you’re not just a fighter, but a warrior. So instead, you will be my co-coach. Not only it pays better, but you get to help others fight like you.”
Blitz - *amazed* “Wow. Thank you. For a sinner, you’re a pretty nice guy.”
Hogsworth - *chuckles* “To be honest, I’m here because I bet on fighting matches. Plus I did beat up a lot of people that didn’t reach my standards.”
Blitz - “Hm. That’s not new.”

After healing himself, Blitz couldn’t help but feel so happy. He finally got a job that he can actually enjoy and have enough money for him and his sister. Even though Charlie confirms that she can help him with the money and he doesn’t have to pay any rent, Blitz feels like it’s responsible to provide for his sister and doesn't want to be a moocher.
The thought was cut short when he heard a whimpering and kids laughing. He turned and saw two imp kids throwing dodgeballs at a poor defenseless fly-dog. He didn’t know if the fly dog was their pet or not, but Blitz was disgusted by the kids abusing the poor defenseless animal. The fly dog was cornered in an alley and the two imp kids was laughing evily just as they were about to pelt it with dodgeballs.
Blitz - *yelling* “Hey! Leave that animal alone!
The kids turned around and saw Blitz looking serious at them. He was even crossing his arms.
Blitz - “I’m not going to say it again.”
The two imp kids laugh at him like if he was joking.
Imp kid 1 - “Okay we won’t throw it at this ugly ass thing.”
Imp kid 2 - “Since we found something bigger and more ugly ass!”
The two kids threw the dodgeballs at Blitz. But to their surprise, Blitz quickly caught both dodgeballs in his hands and dropped them on the ground. Then he took a deep breath and roared at them like a scary lion. The two imp kids screamed in fear and ran off like scared babies. Then Blitz slowly walked up to the fly dog who was shaking and whimpering in fear. Then the fly dog felt Blitz gently petting him.
Blitz - *softly* “It’s okay little guy. You’re safe now.”
The fly dog felt some comfort in Blitz. After a few minutes, Blitz decided to go back home. But when he turned around, he saw the fly dog following him.
Blitz - “Okay you're welcome. You can go home now.”
Blitz continued walking but then he saw the fly dog keep following him. It was starting to annoy him.
Blitz - *annoyed* “Hey! Sit! Sit!”
The fly dog actually listened to Blitz and sat down. Even though Blitz was still surprised that the fly dog actually listened to him, he nodded his head and continued to walk home. But then all of a sudden he felt something on his back. He turned his neck slightly and saw the fly dog on the back of his jacket. Annoyed, Blitz took the fly dog off his jacket, but then the fly dog licked his face.
Blitz - “Ugh! *wipes his face and sighs* okay since it’s obvious you don’t want to be out here, I guess I can take you to the hotel until I decide what to do with you.”
Blitz began to carry the fly dog in his arms and flew home.
()()()()()()()()
At the hotel, Sophie was watching TV and then she heard the door open.
Sophie - “Hi Blitz! How was the-*sees the fly dog in his hands and gushes* aww!! He is so cute!!”
Blitz - “Really? *puts the fly dog down* You think he’s cute? Some people find him ugly.”
Sophie - “Well the people who think he’s ugly, are dumb. What’s his name?”
Blitz - “Oh well he doesn't have a name Sophie. I just found him in the city all alone.”
Sophie - “Well you gotta give him a name. How else can you get his attention and stuff? He is your pet after all.”
Blitz - *uncertain* “Well I’m not sure about keeping him yet. But for now…I guess I’ll name him something simple. Like Ralphie I guess.”
The Fly dog smiled and happily snuggled Blitz’s leg. Blitz blush a little at this while Sophie giggled.
Sophie - “I think he liked it. The name does fit him.”
Blitz smiles at this as the Fly dog now known as Ralphie began to snuggle and play with Sophie. Then Angel came down with Fat Nuggets.
Angel - “Hey Blitz, how was the interview?”
Blitz - “Pretty good. I actually got the job as Hogsworth co coach instead believing I’m too good to be an intern.”
Angel - “Well you do have those strong sexy muscles so I can see why he chose you to be co coach instead.”
Blitz - *blushes* “Yeah I guess.”
Sophie - “Blitzy also got a new pet!”
Angel - *surprised* “Really you do?”
Blitz - “Well it’s not so much a pet but more-“
Angel then saw Ralphie with Sophie. Ralphie gave Sophie a lick on the cheek and she giggled.
Angel - “Oh I seen those dogs before! Most snobby bitches own those types of dogs because they are “fancy”.”
Blitz - *roll his eyes* “Figures. But I’m not sure if I want to keep him as a pet. Do you want Ralphie Angel?”
Angel - “Sorry babe. I already have Fat Nuggets and he’s all I need. Besides, Ralphie seem to like you more. But I just hope he likes Fat Nuggets if he gonna be living here.”
Fat Nuggets and Ralphie took a look at each other. It looked like they were having a staring contest. Then after a few minutes, Fat Nuggets sniffed Ralphie and gave him a nuzzle. Ralphie gave Fat Nuggets a lick on the cheek and both animals nuzzle each other cheeks.
Angel - *gushing* “Aww! Looks like Fat Nuggets have a new buddy!”
Blitz - *surprised* “Wow. I honestly didn't expect that. I thought they wouldn’t like each other or something.”
Angel - “My Nuggies may be a little shy, and cautious, but he’s very open to new animals.”
Sophie - “Now they can be best friends!”
()()()()()()()()
A little while later, Blitz was in his room listening to music. Then he heard a knock on his door.
Blitz - “Come in.”
The door opened and it was Charlie with Ralphie coming in.
Charlie - “Hey Blitz! Congrats on getting the job.
Blitz - *smiles* “Thanks *noticed Ralphie* I see you have met Ralphie.”
Charlie - “Yeah he’s so adorable! I honestly wanted one of these little guys as a kid, but my Dad didn’t like them. They said that they creeped him out. But KeeKee is a good pet too.”
Blitz - “Is KeeKee okay with Ralphie? I know how in a way he’s Technically like a dog, and I know how dogs are when it comes to cats.”
Charlie - “Actually, they were playing together *show Blitz a picture* and they even took a nap together.”
Blitz - *smiles* “Oh that is cute.”
Charlie - “I’m glad that you decided to get a pet.”
Blitz - “Well Charlie, I don’t know if I wanna keep him”
Charlie - “How come?”
Blitz - “Because I’m already busy with taking care of Sophie and even my new job at the dojo.”
Charlie - “Yeah but having a pet can be good for you. They keep you company, love to cuddle, and can help with anxiety and depression. I mean, KeeKee and the Goat Bois help me out whenever I have a bad day. Even Angel has Fat Nuggets.”
Right on cue, Angel came in with Fat Nuggets in a baby carrier.
Angel - “Hey Princess, I’m taking Fat Nuggets out for a walk.”
Blitz - *confused* “And why did you put him in a baby carrier?”
Angel - “Because he’s my baby duh! Plus he looks so cute in it. I think we can find something for you and Ralphie.”
Blitz - “Uh…No thanks.”
Angel - *shrugs* “Suit yourself. Besides, it's better you get some toys for him and stuff. Don’t want him to be bored out of his mind.”
Blitz - “But he’s only staying for a few days. I’m not sure about keeping him yet.”
Angel - “Well I think you should. It would be nice for Nuggies to have new friends.”
Fat Nuggets oink in agreement.
Angel - “Besides he really likes Ralphie. And I’ll admit, Ralphie is pretty cute for a ugly ass fly dog.”
Blitz - “Well there’s still some time. I’ll think about it.”
()()()()()()()()()
Over the next few days, everybody was gushing on how cute and sweet Ralphie was. Sophie always loves to play with him along with Fat Nuggets. Charlie, Vaggie and Angel would always pet him and give him some treats. Even the ones that are not usually pet people like Husk and Alastor were actually quite fond of Ralphie since Ralphie was quiet and didn’t really bother anybody.
Despite liking the special treatment, the only one that Ralphie wanted to be with most is Blitz. After all, he did save him from being abused by those two awful boys. Sure, Blitz would pet him and say hi to him and even feed him, but most of the time, Blitz was busy with either work, cooking, or just wanted to be left alone.
One night while Blitz was asleep, his door was slightly opened. He always leaves it slightly open whenever Sophie has a bad dream and wants to sleep with him for comfort. But this time, it was Ralphie who decided to join him since lately he would be either sleeping on the lobby’s couch or in Sophie’s room. He went on Blitz’s bed and snuggled next to him.
Blitz - *sleeping* “Mmm…Sophie you’re hugging me a little too tight. *he opened his eyes and it was Ralphie and was annoyed* Hey it’s you! *sits up and point the door* Out! Out! Right now!”
Ralphie wasn’t listening to him and just stood on the bed all snuggled up.
Blitz - *rolls his eyes* “I don’t know who’s worse, him or Fat Nuggets. *sees Ralphie give him a cute look* Come on, don't give me that look. You know…In a weird way, you kind of remind me of myself. Looking different and everybody judging you. I always had some people pointing at me because of my wings or how I’m not like other demons when it comes to drinking and stuff. But Charlie did say I should love those things about me because that is what makes me unique. And in a way your unique too so you should *realize something* Holy crap I just spill my guts to a creature that drinks from a toilet. *sighs* Look, I’m sorry but I can’t take care of you. So tomorrow, I’ll see if anybody wants to adopt you and give you a good home.”
()()()()()()()()
The next morning, Blitz was in his room making a poster for anybody who wanted to adopt Ralphie. However, a voice in his head was telling him not to do it. But another part was telling him to do it since he wants Ralphie to be happy as well. Not sure what to do, Blitz began to go downstairs, however as he was going downstairs, the stairs' weak wood gave in and he fell to the basement. What’s worse is that Blitz was under a pile of junk and couldn’t move to break himself free.
Blitz - *groans* “Oh no! Why did Charlie have so much junk? *wince in pain* and I think my ankle is sprained.”
Blitz groans and tries to break himself free but he can't due to all the junk on him being heavy. He couldn’t even pull out his phone and call for help or even do his magic. What’s worst he remembers how he’s actually alone in the hotel: Charlie and Vaggie took Sophie shopping, Angel went to hang out with Cherri, Pentious went to visit his nephew, even Husk and Niffty had to do an “errand” with Alastor
Blitz - “Oh…why this happened on all days that nobody’s home…gets an idea* Wait, this is something I can try: *yelling* “HELP! HELP! HELP!”
Blitz was hoping that anybody, even if it was a stranger, could help him. As Ralphie was walking and sniffing around until his ears twitched. He began to hear Blitz’s voice yelling for help. He began to run fast and saw the hole in the stairs. Ralphie flew downstairs, and saw Blitz under a pile of junk.
Blitz - “Ralphie! I’m hoping you understand me but you gotta help me I’m stuck!”
Ralph went around Blitz and tried to use his strength to move some junk. Putting all of his strength he managed to move a heavy box that allowed one arm of Blitz to be free. Then Ralphie wrapped his trunk around Blitz’s wrist and used all his strength to help Blitz pull him out, even using his wings to help him fly. Despite his wings being a little weak, Ralphie still flew a little up to help Blitz. All the strength he was using managed to pull Blitz out of the pile he was under. Then Ralphie fell on the ground exhausted and was panting. Despite his sprained ankle, Blitz hopped toward Ralphie and gently picked him up in his arms.
Blitz - *smiles* “You saved me…Even though I wasn't sure of keeping you, you still managed to save me. You’re a good boy Ralphie.”
Blitz flew him and Ralphie out of the basement.
()()()()()()()()
When the others came back, they saw that Blitz was relaxing on the couch with his sprain ankle patches up and prop on a pillow. Ralphie was drinking water from a bowl and Blitz was petting him as well.
Sophie - *worried* “Oh no! Blitzy, are you okay? What happened?”
Blitz - *assuring* “Don’t worry Sophie, I’m okay.”
Charlie - *worried* “What happened to you?”
Blitz - “I was going downstairs, and I fell through the basement cause the wood was so weak.”
Vaggie - *groans* “I knew we should have changed the stairs.”
Blitz - “I was trapped under a pile of junk too so I couldn’t take out my phone.”
Charlie - *nervously* “Sorry about that. My Dad and I have a hoarding problem but we are trying to fix that.”
Angel - “So how do you manage to break free?”
Blitz - “Believe or not, it was Ralphie. He actually helped me by pulling me out.”
Angel - “Really? What happened to Mr. I’m not sure of keeping him?”
Blitz - “Well, I wasn’t sure at first. I mean, I thought I was too busy for a pet. But seeing this little guy saving me, made me realize how loyal and sweet they can be. Charlie was right too, pets are actually good for anxiety and stuff. Being around him actually made me more calm and helped me with certain things like how I’m feeling. And despite being kind of ugly, he’s actually pretty cute.”
Sophie - *eyes sparkle* “So does that mean you will keep him?”
Blitz - *smiles* “Yes I am Sophie.”
Sophie - *cheered* “Yay!! I knew you would love him and keep him!”
Angel - “Oh he’s gonna have so much fun with Nuggies! *flirty* Looks like we are going to be pet buddies, Blitzy-Que.”
Blitz’s eyes twitched in annoyance and bop Angel on the head.
Blitz - *annoyed* “Don’t call me that!”
()()()()()()()()
Later at night, after carefully putting on his pajamas and going to bed, Blitz began to whistle.
Blitz - *whistles* “Come here Ralphie. Come here boy.”
Ralphie excitedly went to Blitz’s bed and licked his face. Blitz chuckled at this and even admired the new collar Charlie got for him. The collar got Ralphie’s name, and the address of the hotel and phone number in case Ralphie ever got lost.
Blitz - “We will get you a bed tomorrow. In the meantime, you can sleep with me. But I’ll give you a heads up, either Sophie or Fat Nuggets like to come in here.”
Ralphie nodded and fell asleep next Blitz. Blitz smiles and petted Ralphie a few times before going to sleep himself. Having a pet will be hard work, but at the same time, Blitz is happy to have a new loyal friend that will be there for him no matter what.
The end

The Miys, Ch. 150
I think for the time being, I am going to quit calling myself ‘late’ posting as long as I get the chapter up on the right day of the week *facepalm*. Bc I am barely keeping ahead, much less remembering to queue things up.
I am so, so sorry about that....
Fair warning before anyone @s me: The French is a joke, so if I got it super wrong I am equally sorry to the degree of which it’s wrong.
Unless it’s obscene. Then I want to know so that I can laugh with you, and I am LEAVING IT.
As always, shouts out to @baelpenrose, @the-raven-fae, and @charlylimph-blog!
Heaving an enormous Dutch oven onto a burner, I turned on the heat low and started chopping vegetables. After the first celery stalk, I glanced up at Derek, who sat across from Maverick in our living room. The quarters were shaped differently, which had distressed Derek initially, but the addition of his favorite blankets to the sofa had helped. Currently, he was completely distracted from even Mac: staring off into space, his fingers flying and flicking with a feverish, almost convulsive movement.
Maverick glanced up at me with a smile before following my gaze. “Yep, the cyber siege continues. He’s doing well, from what Zach told me.”
“I thought he was only supposed to attack human-managed systems,” I grumbled, thinking back to the cold shower I had been subjected to that morning. Turning back to the vegetables, I made short work of the celery before taking my frustration out on the carrots. Scooping the diced vegetables into a bowl, I started measuring out paprika, sugar, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano into another bowl. “Where’s Sam, by the way?”
“On the way,” Maverick promised. “With Terran-style tomatoes, he swears. And Derek is only attacking systems we manage. When BioLab 2 was set up, we had to take over water management, to protect the lab from any sort of contamination.”
The knife in my hand, brandished at three cloves of garlic, clattered to the work surface. “Seriously?” I glared at the tap, suddenly suspicious.
“Probably get water from the console,” he winced, nodding briskly at Derek, who nodded in confirmation without stopping his tapping and flicking gestures.
Groaning, I shook my head and crushed the garlic, removed the skin, and started mincing. All that was left was to wait on the tomatoes from Sam. The garlic was potent enough, and I wanted to avoid cutting any onion until absolutely necessary since Derek was clearly parked for the duration.
I was saved about fifteen minutes later when Conor and Sam stopped at the door. Sam waved cheerfully and held up the requested vegetables while Conor removed his boots. A quick shuffle later for Sam to remove his own shoes, and both came to the food prep area - too small to be considered a proper kitchen - to greet me.
First, Conor gave me a big, smelly hug and a kiss on my hair. “Did you already slice the bread?”
“Ew, you gorilla!” I laughed. “And I haven’t sliced any bread yet, I wasn’t sure how long I had and I didn’t want it to get too stale.”
“They’re toasties, love.” He shook his head with a grin before swatting me on the butt. “No one cares if the bread was a bit stale before you started.”
Over his shoulder, Derek’s head bobbed side to side. “I think someone disagrees.” I looked meaningfully past him. To Conor’s credit, he looked sheepish.
Sam squeezed around and handed me the tomatoes and gave me a hug. “Thank you for making soup.”
“I know it’s our favorite,” I winked before shooing him out of the area. “Not enough room for more than one in the kitchen. Y’all go unwind out there, and make sure you warn Derek that I’m about to start cutting onions.”
As he held up his hands and jokingly scurried away, I turned to the stove and started cursing myself. I’d forgotten to start boiling water. Snagging a small saucepan, I got a carafe of water from the console and started rectifying that, tossing in a generous pinch of salt. Gently, I cut an X into the bottom of each tomato and set them aside before peeling and dicing the onion. Immediately, the onion, carrots, and celery went into a food processor. “Derek, I’m about to be loud,” I called softly before counting to ten to give him time to cover his ears or step into the corridor. A quick blitz later, the vegetables were perfectly between a mince and a puree.
A quick swizzle of oil went into the already-hot dutch oven before adding the mirepoix and giving it a quick stir. As if on cue, Tyche and Antoine breezed through the door, noses twitching.
“I smell food,” she announced, stalking into the kitchen. One look at the ingredients was all it took. “Ooooo you’re making the tomato soup.”
I couldn’t help laughing. “I am, and you know I don’t have room in here for spectators, unfortunately.” Arching an eyebrow, I pointed the spoon in my hand at the table.
She wasn’t having it. “One of these days, you’re going to show me how to make that. May as well be today.”
“Nice try, but I need some secrets. Besides, the longer I argue with you, the more likely the vegetables are going to scorch. Scoot!”
She scrunched her face at me but acquiesced. As I scooped the garlic into the pot, I heard her change topics. “How much longer is the stress test? My music keeps getting mixed up with Antoine’s. I don’t mind it, but…”
Antoine smiled softly and shook his head. “But it is quite a shock to expect classical music and instead her rock starts playing.”
Personally, I liked both, but still shuddered at what he was talking about. Carefully lowering three of the tomatoes into the now-boiling water, I glanced at the sauteing vegetables and gave them a quick stir to check. “We have about six more days before the repairs start, maybe four more after that?”
Conor sighed. “I wish we could ask if anything important was being hacked, not just annoying environmental controls.”
“Plants aren’t dead yet,” Sam pointed out, tipping his bottle of water toward Conor in a practiced gesture. Everyone laughed when, rather than being reassured, Conor leapt to his feet to check on his ‘babies’ in the room.
Cursing, I dipped the tomatoes out of the boiling water and dropped them immediately into an ice bath. A couple pokes with my trusty spoon showed they weren’t overcooked, thankfully. “None of my information for work has been acting up,” I admitted as I started peeling them. “But Pranav advised that more critical data would either go completely missing or not show any signs of infiltration. We won’t know until after the test is over.”
“Lovely,” Tyche drawled as she watched Conor fretting over the plants. “So it’s all or nothing.”
I shrugged and dumped the tomato paste - admittedly, from the console - into the pan of other vegetables. When I stirred, I was satisfied that the carrots, onion, and celery had cooked down to where they were soft. “In a weird way, it makes sense. They’re testing for catastrophic data breaches, which would pull everything down, or for data theft, which you wouldn’t want to leave traces of.”
The corner of Antoine’s mouth quirked up as I dropped three more tomatoes into the pan of boiling water. “No hidden boba tea this time, that is reassuring.”
Hands still moving without hesitation, Derek whipped his head toward Antoine, paused, and turned back to where he had been staring. Derek’s version of a glare.
“That was Charly,” I responded in unexpected unison with Maverick and Conor. I smirked while dumping the already-peeled tomatoes into the processor with another pinch of salt. “Seriously, Derek had nothing to do with that other than divine retribution.” I paused for a moment. “Although I do have to admit that the cold showers do seem to track with what Charly reported.”
That only got a shrug from Derek, which was as good as an admission.
The conversation shifted again - something Conor and Sam were working on in the aeroponics labs that I had already heard multiple details on, plus repetition. Tuning it out, I pulled out the last three tomatoes, dropped them in the ice bath, and took a platter with a loaf of bread, sliced cheese, and butter out to the table. “Mav, can you start setting up the sandwiches?”
He went to stand, but Tyche shooed him back down. “I got it. She may not let me help make the soup on this one, but I can prep a grilled cheese with the best.” Staring me in the eye, she started cutting slices from the loaf defiantly.
I just laughed it off. This was the only tomato soup either of us liked, and she had been chasing me for the recipe for ages. It had become a running joke at this point, so without hesitation, I moved back to the food prep area, peeled the remaining tomatoes, and gave another warning that I was going to be loud. Some more blitzing later, the now-pureed tomatoes went into the pan of veggies along with the spices I had already measured out, the juice from one lemon, and enough water to fill the pan three-quarters full. Leaving that to boil, I moved the boiling water off the stove and swapped it for a grill-pan.
“Sophie!” Conor cried from the armchair where he perched. “You’ve seen the plants we’re growing in the lab! Tell them we’ve managed a crop of roots!”
I winced. “Jury’s out… I’m not sure how aeroponic potatoes are going to turn out, but I can confirm they are in the process of finding out?”
Tyche’s knife fell to the table, and she moved her mouth silently in a very accurate imitation of a fish before managing to sputter. “Air-grown… potatoes?”
The confusion on Antoine’s face was painful to look at. He started to speak before stopping himself and instead pulling up his datapad, jotting a message, and flicking it out to the room.
When I read the message, the confusion was so clear that I hurt my sinuses snorting. Des pomme de terre en l’air? Pommes aeriennes? Talk about being lost in translation…. “Conor, Sam… I think Antoine has the perfect name for those if they work out. Just sayin’”
Tyche snorted and shook her head before handing me the platter, with a stack of perfectly buttered bread, two slices of cheese between every other slice of bread. The soup had just come to a simmer, so I was stirring intently and just nodded for her to start grilling sandwiches. Several appreciative sniffs and twenty minutes later, six bowls of soup and six matching sandwiches - three cut vertically and three cut diagonally, because it mattered and was not a battle I was willing to fight - hit the table. Tyche politely placed the salt cellar and a pepper grinder on the table, although the glare she dished out to the collected group promised strong retaliation to anyone who touched them.
I held up half of my grilled cheese in a mock-toast. “To soup night!”
“To air potato soup, soon!” Maverick offered up with a grin, only for everyone to echo his sentiment with the exception of Derek - who just held up half of his sandwich with one hand and tapped away with the other, not even relenting to eat.
Frankly, as long as he spared a hand to eat, I couldn’t bring myself to care. He took these tests very seriously, and generally only stopped when he was completely asleep.
Everyone dug in, but it was only after my first spoonful that I spoke up. “Considering how long it took to make sure the tomatoes wouldn’t be poisonous, I’m not sure the potatoes will be ready before we get to Von.”
Conor and Sam nodded, as did Tyche and Antoine, but Maverick stopped with his bowl halfway to his mouth. Setting it down gently, he angled his head. “What do you mean, poisonous?”
“They’re nightshades,” Conor told him, as calmly as if he was telling us that water was wet. “Tomatoes are the only edible berries of that family, and potatoes are the only edible tubers, so we have to be extra careful.”
Maverick’s eyes grew wide and turned toward his soup. Tyche just reached out and patted his hand. “You’ve eaten this soup for years, and you love tomatoes. They’re safe, I swear. And Sam won’t let Sophia near the new ones until he’s completely sure they’ll be okay to eat.”
Sam nodded, shoving a soup-covered wedge into his mouth. “We’re growing them in simulated Von-light, hoping that keeps the roots from creating chlorophyll. If we’re wrong, there’s a forty-three-point-six percent chance they won’t grow at all, ten-point-five percent chance they will give you a stomach ache, eighteen-point-four percent they won’t taste good, and twenty-seven-point-five percent they will taste good and be safe to eat at the same time.”
“Meaning they won’t kill you, you might get a tummy ache, but most likely for this generation, they just won’t grow,” Conor translated.
“Hang on,” I held up my spoon. “What kind of stomachache are we talking here?”
The mad botanists looked at each other and made a few thoughtful faces. Finally, Conor nodded and Sam spoke. “Unripe apples,” he stated flatly. “But just unripe apples.”
“Oh, that’s not too bad,” I shrugged and crunched into my sandwich.
Derek finished his half-sandwich and blindly reached for another. He had it halfway to his mouth before he looked at it and dropped it back to the plate in alarm. You would have thought it tried to bite him rather than vice versa.
Antoine shook his head and reached past the vertically cut sandwich Derek had dropped and delicately handed him a diagonally cut one. “Here you go, friend.”
Glaring at the sandwich like it may betray him, he bit it viciously before going back to the screen he could only see in his mind, seemingly satisfied that the sandwich would not change into the offending shape.
I told you, it matters.

Time for Techno crumbs!
Here’s a compilation of a few things that have happened recently that aren’t necessarily worth an update, but still involve Techno in some capacity!
Some of these are just slight mentions, others are vaguely alluding to him. Regardless, this is all for fun and to fill in for the lack of content.
(If this is something u guys enjoy we might do this more often! :] )
Everything is under the cut!
We also got a possible teaser for Techno in the next mcc! Tubbo specified later that he meant you could watch him “if he’s in it” so this doesn’t confirm anything! Keep that in mind :]
Talking about Tubbo, he also talked about Techno and his love for pokemon snap going on right now!
Sophie commented this on a fanart of Techno and Dream in the prison! Not enough to be an update, but pretty funny regardless :]

Link to the tweet here!
Once again, Another Tubbo clip! This one is a lot more vague, but Sam and Tubbo joke about another person being in the prison alongside Dream
Derivakat released a song based on the SBI fic, Passerine:

i was your insomnia, i was your grief
Fandom: Bloodbound
Pairing: Gaius Augustine x MC
Words: 3,864
Summary: "Kill me, then,“ Gaius hissed through gritted teeth, without an ounce of kindness to it and it was kinda like a sucker punch to the face. “If that should satisfy you. You and I both know my soul is yours to take.” “Mine, huh? Not even God could take that luxury from me?” Amy bit off, wanting to test his reaction. Liking the way his brows furrowed further. “Aren’t you afraid of God, Gaius?” “No,” he said. A beat, then: “But I’m afraid of you.”
Warnings: SMUT, angst, swearing, all that jazz, SMUT
Author’s note: what’s up my fellow gaius stanners! so, after a careful reconsideration, mental debate and scouring through tumblr for the motivation, I finally decided to write this fic. I would like to give a massive shoutout to @theclownandtheflame because of their brilliant, brilliant fic Victim, Victim, Monster it inspired me to write a Gaius x MC fic too, cause fuck the haters, alright? We should all be able to ship whoever the heck we want. And that’s the tea, as our great queen Sophie Turner would say.
Anyway, enjoy. If you like it let me know, if you don’t let me know, and if you’re a Gaius hater, what in the sweet hell are you even doing here?
“Our emotions Are only “incidents” In the effort to keep day and night together.” ― T.S. Eliot
She’d like to think it was the exhaustion that moved it; that choreographed her limbs, that whispered the words in her head, that betrayed her instincts, that rose the river in her head, when she, as if on strings, leaned in and kissed Gaius on the cheek.
Gaius, the bane of her existence, the sole perpetrator that nearly brought the world to its knees, the man who raised a sword and killed her, thus the repercussions that altered the course of her life forever and Amy fucking kissed his cheek. Calloused against her soft lips and oh so wrong.
Yes, she would blame it on her exhaustion from all the shit blitz she’d endured a few days back, but underneath, Amy knew it was all her.
When she pulled back, she was breathless, her lips lingered there for a fleeting moment. Her cheeks a few shades darker than she expected. Gaius barely moved a muscle, sitting like a gargoyle, his jaw hung open. He looked at her lips first, then her eyes as if she was the world’s greatest enigma, as if she had stabbed him in the heart.
“Why?”
Amy wished Gaius hadn’t asked that because she knew that he knew she had no answer to it. Or perhaps she did, but there was no point in letting him know, was it? So she looked the other way, embarrassed, indignant, frowning like a crescent moon in reverse.
She inhaled deeply, his scent involuntarily worked its way through her nostrils. “Because I wanted to.”
“But why?” He asked again, more insistent this time. Confusion was apparent in his voice. She wished he would stop using that word.
Amy craned her head back to meet his, under the moonlight his eyes reminded her of the Arctic ocean, pale and cold, depthless. One wrong step and she would drown.
“I don’t know, Gaius,” she murmured, honest, her fingers still clasping around his like knots. Amy thought if she held onto him a little longer, she’d wake up from whatever realm she was in and found herself tucked neatly in her bed. “I don’t know.”
What was right, what was real, those lines blurred the moment she became a vampire. And it was all his fault. Everything was his fault and she hated him for it, with every fiber of her being. God, Jax was right, they didn’t need him anymore, especially now that they had the weapon that could secure their triumph. She might as well kill him tonight and be done with it, get the revenge she’d deserved, bring her mind the peace it’s yearned.
But then she felt Gaius gently tipped her chin up, an indescribable look on his face that slightly unnerved her. His eyes once again, as if by mistake or design, found her mouth first then her eyes and she mentally berated herself for being such a fool.
“You need to be more careful where you tread, dearest one,” he said, his voice low, his thumb smoothed down the curve of her throat and her pulse immediately leapt. “Be careful, or there will be repercussions.”
“Is that a warning or a threat?”
“Once upon a time, it would have been the latter, but now…”
“But how? You don’t even know yourself anymore.”
Something dark passed Gaius’ eyes, akin to anger, hurt, betrayal, yet she held her ground.
Eventually, he withdrew his hand from her. Amy, as fast as the lightning scrambled up to her feet. It was a mistake comforting him. Being near him was bad enough to mess up her brain and she couldn’t have that, especially during times like these.
Yet Amy only stood there, watching as Gaius followed suit, but instead heading toward the railings and nested his elbows there, a hand running through his dark locks, an attempt to calm the storm within him.
“Sorry,” she said quietly, not sure if he’d heard her, not sure why she apologized. Not sure if she should go and leave him to himself. “Sorry. I-” but she didn’t know what else to say.
Gaius shot her a look over his shoulder, once upon a time– he was right, once upon a time Amy would have stood stock-still at the way he gazed at her right now. But the Gaius before her was not the same man that killed her, that burned and destroyed New York with just a touch of his power. This was a different man, but with the same visage of the man who once hurt her. A different side of the coin.
“What is it that you want from me, Amy?” Gaius hissed, caustic as he unbent himself from the railings. Facing her once more. “Would it satisfy you if you were to kill me tonight, the way I did to you?” He stepped towards her. “Would it give you great joy if you could dissect my brains out like a lab rat and study what lies beneath the violence and decisions?” Another step. “Or will you, Bloodkeeper, exploit me the way she did? Mold me into something I’m not and use me for your own means?”
“No.” I’m not her, what she meant to say. But her answer somehow didn’t satisfy Gaius the slightest bit.
“Then what do you want from me? You comforted me and kissed my cheek, yet you smote me with your words. Was all the niceties just an act then? Not that I deserve any of it, but was it?” The anger had subsided, replaced by something broken, his voice cracking. He sounded so desperate and it gave Amy’s heart an unexpected twist.
“No. No, it’s not.”
“Then why?”
“Because you confuse me!” She blurted out, her facade finally cracked and in front of him of all people, no less. “I know you, Gaius Augustine, or at least knew. You are the man who murdered me cold-blooded, who scarred me and my friends for life, who did terrible, terrible things in the past, but then…” Amy wrapped her arms around her midsection as if it was mid-December in New York.
“Then when I got into your head, everything I knew about you somehow meant nothing. Those violence, those-those stories I’ve heard about you. Nothing. I know you, yet at the same time I don’t and I hate it. I hate it that I’m not in control-” she snapped her mouth close.
“Control of what?” Gaius asked tightly, genuinely confused.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
She shook her head. “I- I mean-” Amy grit out, closed her mouth, groaned. “It’s-” she paused, gesticulated, seeking the right word. “Nothing. Just forget it.”
Amy didn’t dare to meet his eyes as she turned her back from Gaius, cheeks ever tinged crimson. Wanting to put as many distances as she could from him.
But he stopped her, naturally, before she could go too far. His cold hand around her arm and spun her back to face him. He was close. Closer than they’d ever been together that Amy could almost make out her own reflection in her eyes. Hip lips dangerously close to her face, their noses almost touching and the tension immediately shifted, still dangerous but not in the cut-throat, stab-you-to-death kind that she knew so well.
“Tell me,” Gaius whispered, on the verge of pleading. He was watching her carefully now, knowing that he was crossing the line, but so help him there were already plenty of lines they’d crossed tonight.
This time, it was her mistake to stare at his lips. “I hate you,” Amy spat, but that was just one of the lies she told.
“I am aware.”
“I wish you weren’t here.” This too.
“Kill me, then,” Gaius hissed through gritted teeth, without an ounce of kindness to it and it was kinda like a sucker punch to the face. “If that should satisfy you. You and I both know my soul is yours to take.”
“Mine, huh? Not even God could take that luxury from me?” Amy bit off, wanting to test his reaction. Liking the way his brows furrowed further. “Aren’t you afraid of God, Gaius?”
“No,” he said. A beat, then: “But I’m afraid of you.”
His answer was unexpected and her scowl did soften, if only for a moment.
Though maybe once she had settled the score with Rheya, she would do it. If that was what he wanted, what everyone wanted.
But now, Amy’s mind was racing at a hundred miles per hour because she was losing all semblance of control, and she only trusted him to witness this side of her rather than anyone else; her eyes finding his lips again.
But the less he knew the better, and she thought let him be very afraid then.
“Good.“
Then Amy leaned in and kissed him. On the mouth.
She felt Gaius’ hesitation in the kiss, but it didn’t last long. Suddenly, Amy felt his mouth moving against her, his hand on the back of her neck, pulling her closer; hers, wrapped around his neck.
There was no exploration, no teasing, no tenderness in their kiss. He kissed her hot-blooded and raw, like millennia of pain and lust pouring out of his mouth and she gladly swallowed them all. Amy opened her mouth first, shoved her tongue against his first and heard him groan, felt him reciprocate. Making her head dizzy that she had to remind herself to breathe. He was never the one to back down from a challenge.
Amy let out a startled gasp when he picked her up, her legs automatically wrapped around his waist as Gaius carried her toward her chamber like she weighed nothing. Not once they broke the kiss, even as they toppled down the mattress, as he wrapped his arm under her body and moved them further up the bed.
Gaius’ mouth unlatched from hers, his fangs were on full display, an unmistakable gleam of lust flashed over his features and began his journey down her jaw, her neck. The sharpest tips grazing her tender flesh, lingering over the pulse point of her carotid before putting pressure, enough to make her whimper but not to leave his mark on her. A shudder rippled up Amy’s spine. Her fingers digging into his dark locks, wanting to hurt him, to push him away, to bring him closer, to hear him groan.
God, her head was a fucking mess. She was a fucking mess. To stoop this low and let Gaius, the man who’d murdered her once upon a dreary night, have his way with her.
Perhaps she had gone bat-shit crazy from everything that had been happening, perhaps there was something in the water Kano gave her, perhaps it really was exhaustion clouding her mind, but whatever was this, this felt so unapologetically good in her head.
A strained moan involuntarily left her lips when she felt his hand snuck under her top, finding her nipple and gave it an experimental pinch.
It was then when Amy channeled her vampiric strength and flipped their position. Wrenching a surprised look from his face, his eyes popped. Looking as if he’d never been outmuscled by the opposite sex before. She swung her leg over his torso, straddled him, liking the feeling of his hard curve better between her legs like this.
Amy ground down onto him, her mouth stretched into a dangerous smile as Gaius flopped his head back to the bed, groaning gutturally and bucked up against her in response. His hands gripping her hips, hot and tight. Even through the excessive layers of clothes, she could feel him, growing hard against her. Brushing onto her clothed sex just right, she bit her lip, muffling the moan that threatened to escape. Her back arched seductively while Gaius raced a hand from her throat down over her chest.
She batted it away and pinned both his hands above his head.
“No. Tonight is about me.” Her voice was deep and authoritative, breathing a little too loud than her liking. “Everything is on my terms tonight, you get me?”
“Very well, Your Highness,” he replied, but there was no trace of malice or snide like he usually did. His pupils were blown to hell, the light color of his eyes disappeared into a sliver.
Amy eyed him down, considering her next move.
“Strip,” she commanded, watching as his eyes glint. He was going to enjoy this. Amy almost regret agreeing to do this in the first place.
Almost.
Once Amy let go of his hands, Gaius sat up, bringing her with him as she readjusted herself on his lap. He unfastened his ridiculous cape first, hurling it across the room without the slight care in the world before moving onto his ruff and suit. The whole time, his eyes never left hers and vice versa.
By the time he was naked to the waist, Amy couldn’t help but stare. And the bastard caught it, eagle-eyed as ever, the right corner of his mouth curling up to a smirk. Fucker. But she opted to ignore him, brought her hand over his body instead, feeling his chest hitched.
His chiseled muscles were almost statuesque, she had to admit. The battle scars were like stories waiting to be told, explored. It was sort of oddly intimate actually, seeing him like this, touching him as a lover would. Perhaps in another life, if he wasn’t what he was, if they weren’t what they were, she would have asked Gaius to recount one of them.
But not in this life.
Amy dropped her hand from him, pretending she hadn’t just admired his body like a thirsty ass vampire she was and cleared her throat.
“Pants,” she said. And Gaius obeyed once again. Sliding from the bed to stand as he worked on his trousers. A blush had risen to her face, but she forced herself not to look away. She wouldn’t be beaten on her own game.
Gaius dropped his shorts, kicked off his boots and he was naked before her. Standing tall and proud like a soldier he was. His mouth twitched but the rest of his face remained impassive, as if saying ‘do your worst’. This time, Amy allowed herself to openly stare at him. Assessing, and again, considering her next move.
“Touch yourself.”
Gaius did a double take. “What?”
“Get on your knees and touch yourself.”
He did. Kneeling down before her like a man asking for penance before his God, his eyes glued on hers still as he ran his hand over his cock.
Amy sat by the bed, cross-legged, licking her lower lip as she watched the show. A low grumble erupted from his throat, his gaze kept shifting between her body and her face, her thighs and her breasts. She exhaled shakily. Suddenly, the room felt thick, it was like trying to breathe in a room full of fire.
The wet smack of his hand around his cock was enough to send her desire climbing through the roof. Her nipples grew hard under her tank top. Her hand travelled down between her legs, wondering what his reaction would be.
“Amy,” Gaius shamelessly groaned her name this time. His hand moving faster. His face contorted, visibly fighting for control.
He was close.
“Stop.” He did, panting and sweating as he did so. “Stand up.” He stood up, his arms on his side. “Now take off mine.”
He was all but pounced to the bed like an animal. Tearing her top off, pulling her pants and underwear down her smooth legs with a violent tug, Amy nearly yelped in surprise.
She was as naked as he was now. Gaius stared at Amy for a moment, drinking her in, his gaze darting up and down the curves of her soft figure. His eyes were heavily-lidded, and Amy felt a hot rush from the lewd expression on his face. He positioned himself on top of her once again, the veil of his sun-kissed brown strands falling around his face.
“What’s next, Your Highness?” Gaius asked lowly, his mouth nibbling her ear. “I await your command.”
“I-” Amy shut her eyes, shivered violently when his hardness nudged on her wet heat. “Fuck.” And slightly ground her hips against his. Her thoughts a chaotic jumble.
Amy felt him smiling against her collarbone, before closing his mouth over her nipple, sucking hard enough to sting, letting his fangs graze over the delicate skin. “Yes?”
“Shit,” she cursed again, head drooping backwards with a drawn out moan. She pushed his body off of her. “On your back.“
At the command, Gaius quickly rolled to the side, obedient as ever. Amy scrambled up, pushing him further until he was lying flat on the bed and settled her weight against him. Gasping whenever his tip brushed her clit.
One hand on his pecs, the other reached down and grabbed his cock. Wasting no time, no more teasing this time around as she positioned the head beneath her opening. Feeling him assisting before finally, she lowered herself in a strangled breath and fought the urge to moan his name.
So, this is how it felt, fucking the man that once brought so much destruction to the world and her own. Others might think this was her falling for the temptation, the manipulation Gaius pulled on her, losing the battle, but this was her winning the war. This was her turning the tables around them, showing them who was in control now. That she, of all people, could have the former King of Vampires knelt down before her and jerked himself off and deprived him of that pleasure just for the thrill of it.
And she was the Bloodkeeper for fuck’s sake. Probably the world’s only hope in achieving the impossible, for what’s it worth, she could fuck whoever she wanted. Let her have her moment, this one final hurrah before the shit show awaited her.
A sly arch of her back, lips dropping into a perfect circle, hips circling on his, Amy rode Gaius senselessly, bouncing and clawing at him until they left marks on his skin. Her sighs and moans intermingled with his every time she slammed her hips into his just right. He thrust upwards in time with her movements, his hands on her thighs, her hips, her breasts, her neck. All over her body. There was no inhibition now, only pleasure that drove them.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck.” At the increasing pitch of her voice, Gaius pulled her head down for a hungry kiss, instantly muffling her sound.
Soon, Amy began to feel her knees weakened, her movements became less rhythmic that she had to lean helplessly on his chest. Gaius noticed this, but instead thrust even faster.
“F-flip me ove-” Amy hadn’t finished the sentence when Gaius spun her over onto her back. His left hand gripping her messy hair, his right one holding up her hips roughly, he re-entered her in a one hard, deep thrust that filled her. So powerful that she was shaken, knocking the wind out of her.
Setting a ruthless pace, he rammed himself into her. He was out of restraints, it seemed, and Amy was out of her fucking mind. Drowned in the euphoria that she didn’t realize she pulled him for another searing kiss. Grunting into her mouth, his fingers headed down over her lower abdomen and his thumb contacted her clit. Her body clenched around his cock. Her fingers dug deep into his shoulders, though the pain seemed to fire him up even more.
Then Gaius shifted the angle of his hips.
“Oh, G-god fuck!” she cried, uncertain of whether it was an unconscious attempt at calling his name or straight up blasphemy. She felt her release bubbling inside her the depth of her stomach. Her back arched.
When Amy came, Gaius dutifully put his hand over her mouth, muffling the scream that rose up from her throat. Her release also triggered Gaius’, as he suddenly went rigid above her, his thrusts became more irregular before pulling out and spilled his seeds on her thigh.
Amy was still trying to even her breath when she noticed Gaius left the bed. Disappearing into the dark corner of the room before the next thing she knew, he came back bringing a towel with him. Which was pretty considerate of him and since Gaius didn’t strike her as the type.
Her dumbfoundedness must have been apparent because the right corner of his mouth curled up into a smirk.
“If there’s one thing I learned from this ordeal, it’s that I have to start taking care of the messes I made,” he said as he handed the towel to her, an unexpected softness in his eyes.
Amy shakily propped herself up, looking down. There were bruises on her hips and his semen was dripping from her leg, creating a damp patch on the bed.
“Thanks,” she said, then began to clean up the mess he left on her while feeling his eyes constantly roving around her figure. He looked as if he wanted to say something, but decided otherwise.
Gaius left the bed once more and this time, she knew he was never coming back.
“You’re leaving?” Amy asked as he redressed himself, nearly smacked herself in the head at the tinge of disappointment in her voice.
“Yes,” he answered as he buttoned up his suit. “I have my own preparations to make for the battle.” Gaius knelt down to pick up his cape, dusted off unnecessarily and wore it back around his broad shoulders.
Amy could only watch him as he turned his back on her, heading toward the door. The afterglow had worn off when it was barely there. Feeling surprisingly… hollow.
She was the one who initiated this, but the gravity of the situation, of what they had done, was starting to weigh in. Not that she regretted a single second of it, but it was because she knew from this moment, she would never look at him the same way again. Not when she knew everything about him now- physically and mentally, and probably the only living person in this world who did.
If he died, Gaius would be nothing but a story to be passed down to another generation of vampires after them, stories of his atrocities, of his mistreatment of the human race, of his manipulations. He would be condemned, shunned. Even after his death. Eventually, the name Gaius Augustine would slowly disappear with the wind and Amy couldn’t help but wonder what could have happened if Rheya hadn’t changed him. Would he have been hailed as a hero instead? Knowing his true nature, or would he even be here in the first place?
Gaius’ footsteps ceased, his hand hovering on the doorknob.
“If we’d met in another life…” he uttered, uncertain whether he should continue or not. Still, his back on her. “I think things could have been different.”
Still, he could not be remedied or pitied. What he’d done was beyond forgiving, he still needed to be held accountable, but beneath his sins, he was just one man. A messed up, wicked and annoyingly powerful man who lost himself along the way. Who lost everything.
“Yeah. In another life.” And immortality never tasted this bitter.

Book Blitz: Grand Finale: The Charm Offensive by Cari Lynn Webb (Giveaway)
On Tour with Prism Book Tours.
Book Tour Grand Finale for
The Charm Offensive
By Cari Lynn Webb
We hope you enjoyed the tour! If you missed any of the stops you can see snippets, as well as the link to each full post, below...
Launch - Author Interview
What motivated you to write THE CHARM OFFENSIVE?
We moved often when I was a child because of my father’s job and now with my husband, we’ve continued to relocate around the country. I’ve been fortunate to live in both small towns and big cities and I’ve discovered there’s something to love about each place we’ve lived. There are so many wonderful romance series set in small towns and I wanted to write a series about characters who live and work in a big, vibrant city. San Francisco has always been one of my favorite cities and when the idea for The Charm Offensive came up, the City by the Bay seemed like the perfect setting.
It's All About the Romance - Excerpt
Sophie Callahan was the first person to pull at him in places he thought only the music could reach. But, unlike the symphony, he wasn’t interested in becoming a patron of Sophie Callahan’s.
Brooke Blogs - Charmed At The Movies
To celebrate the release of my July book, The Charm Offensive, it’s time to break down charm and figure out what it really takes for someone or something to be charming. And to kick off the blog tour week, let’s talk about those movie characters that’ve charmed us.
Christian Suspense Author Mary Alford - Review
"This story is filled with heartwarming characters and twists and turns. And along the way, Sophie and Brad rise above the bad luck in their lives to find each other, fall in love, and claim their well-deserved happily ever after. What a great story. It will warm your heart. It left me smiling happily at the end. I would definitely recommend THE CHARM OFFENSIVE to anyone looking for a heartwarming romance."
Deal Sharing Aunt - Interview
2. How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have? I have a collection of unpublished books that span several romance categories: historical, paranormal and contemporary. We just moved into a new house last week and I came across my very first manuscript in one of the attic boxes. I took it out, dusted it off and repacked it into a sturdier box for safe-keeping. That one is definitely for my eyes only.
Hearts & Scribbles - Pets That Charm Us
My heroine, Sophie Callahan, owns a pet store called The Pampered Pooch in my July release, The Charm Offensive. Pet owners can find everything they need for their favorite four-legged family members from dog food to cat beds to every sort of toy. City dogs can also enjoy play dates in the Pooch’s day care. Sophie can’t refuse shelter for abandoned kittens, puppy surrenders or rescues of any kind. She makes use of her foster families and her kennels to house all of her furry friends until she finds each one a forever home.
A Baker's Perspective - Review
"Overall, I would recommend this book to romance readers and young adults. It’ll put a smile on your face, and probably make you thankful you don’t have the relatives that Sophie does! Just make sure you are ready to meet Ella. I promise you that she will lift your spirits."
Katie's Clean Book Collection - Excerpt
Her father had taught her not to trust as a child, and she prided herself on being more open and less closed off as an adult. Until one phone call from her father had made her suspicious of everyone, including herself. One phone call had made her doubt that decency existed.
Becky on Books - Excerpt
“I lied.” His voice was low, as if dredged through the darkness. “I do want something from you.”
Sophie watched him and waited. The attic closed in as if embracing them, but a shiver shifted through the air, rippling across her skin. “What?”
Brad tugged her against him. “This.”
Paulette's Papers - Charmed I'm Sure
I asked my two teenage daughters about the things that make a good first impression. Here’s their list:
1. Someone who can make you laugh
2. Someone who is upbeat
3. Someone who is sincere
Thoughts of a Blonde - Review
"Really good characters grab our attention with a promising plot from the beginning. I was a bit thrown by the writing style where we would get a subtle hint of knowledge on a character without giving us details several places throughout the book that kind of left us guessing … but overall, it was an enjoyable read with a happy ending to be enjoyed by all."
Mel's Shelves - The Charm Factor
The definition of charming according to Merriam-Webster is “extremely pleasing or delightful.” I’ve been around people I’d describe as charming and they’ve been more than simply delightful. They usually seem to have some intangible quality that is hard to describe, but so very compelling. You want to be around charming people perhaps because they make you feel like instant friends. Charming people make everyone feel better for being around them.
Harlie's Books - Excerpt & Review
Brad’s strong hand engulfed Ella’s as if he’d been holding the girl’s hand since she’d learned to walk. Simple, easy and natural like a father with a daughter. He never flinched. Never pulled away. Just moved closer to Ella’s side. A band twisted around Sophie’s chest as if a professional linebacker had tackled her to the ground.
"The family issues were awesome in the book. They are relatable and honest. Brad is a great hero. He had to figure out what was most important to him and he did. Sophie…she had to grow on me and she finally did. "
Bookworm Lisa - Review
"What I loved about this book is that two people with a lot of insecurities and emotional pain are able to open their heats and find love. The supporting characters are people you would like to surround yourself with (well, most of them). This is a patchwork family. Broken people, who aren't related, coming together to make a whole."
Rockin' Book Reviews - Review
"This was a really sweet story. I really liked the story line. . . . I think this is a great book and recommend it to other readers."
Christy's Cozy Corners - Review
"The characters in The Charm Offensive are so well-written and believable. Sophie’s niece, Ella, is such a sweetheart with a huge heart. I love Evelyn and how she becomes involved in their lives. The fact that Sophie has a pet store is just awesome! I want a bookstore, but having a pet store would be my second choice. If you love sweet romance, you’ll love The Charm Offensive."
Reading Is My SuperPower - Review
"The Charm Offensive is sweet and witty and brimming with love and, yes, charm. Sophie, Brad, and Ella make quite a team, and their interactions will put a smile on your face and in your heart. The writing is smooth and draws you in at once, and I hope The Charm Offensive’s universe becomes a series – there are other stories to be discovered with the supporting characters."
Heidi Reads... - Excerpt
A warning flared inside him, telling him these memories belonged to Ella and Sophie, not him. But he barreled on past the exit-now sign flashing in his mind, very much determined to add to their memories. Yes, Sophie’s stove was more vintage than practical. He’d bet the temperature in the oven hadn’t been calibrated in over two decades. And if he guessed correctly, only two of the four burners worked. Yet he wanted to make dinner here with them. Against all good sense and logic and rationale, he wanted to experience prepping and cooking in this kitchen with this family.
Inside the Mind of an Avid Reader - Review
"I absolutely adored Sophie and Brad. Even though Brad had a pretty huge hidden motive in getting involved with Sophie. . . . An excellent heartwarming read. I loved it."
Book Lover in Florida - Big City Charm
There’s a long-standing debate about small town living versus big city living, tiny houses versus sprawling estates covering acres of land, neighbors or no neighbors. Depending on my mood (or how much teenage drama is coursing through our house), I’ll voice my preference for one over the other. However, Sophie Callahan and Brad Harrington, from The Charm Offensive, would choose a life in the city every time.
With Love for Books - Review
"Cari Lynn Webb has written a fantastic romantic story with precious main characters. I instantly fell in love with The Charm Offensive. It's indeed incredibly charming. It's also sweet, entertaining and delightful. I loved that there's so much eye for detail, even the large number of pets all have their own distinct personalities. Cari Lynn Webb has paid attention to everything and her story has warmth and cosiness in abundance. The Charm Offensive is a terrific feelgood story and I highly recommend this gorgeous loving book."

Sick Sophie
Sophie gets sick and things sure do happen!
This is for @loli-momo1908 as a birthday gift.
Happy birthday! Hope you enjoy ^^
Sophie hasn't been feeling like herself lately. During one of Charlie’s hotel lessons, it was drawing how you feel deep inside. Normally, Sophie usually love to draw but she didn’t put much effort into color like she normally does. So she just drew herself happy and having hearts. Then she didn’t have enough energy to play with Fat Nuggets or KeeKee.
It was dinner time and Blitz cooked seafood gumbo for everybody. Normally Sophie loves to eat it and would usually eat the whole thing. But Sophie was just eating slowly and looked drained. Blitz seems to take notice of it.
Blitz - *worried* “You okay baby girl?”
Sophie - “I feel tired…and yucky.”
Charlie - “Yucky? Like how?”
Sophie - “Like I don’t feel like myself…”
Blitz went to Sophie and felt her forehead. And noticed she felt warm and slightly sweaty.
Blitz - “Ooh you do feel a little warm.”
Vaggie - “She could be getting a cold.”
Blitz - “Yeah most likely. Come on Sophie, let's get you to bed.”
Blitz gently picked up Sophie in his arms and took her to her room. Sophie changed into her pajamas and Blitz got out the children's liquid medicine and poured it in a little cup. After getting into bed, she saw Blitz handing her the little cup of medicine.
Sophie - *dismayed* “Eww Blitz. That stuff is yucky.”
Blitz - “I know but you want to feel better don’t you?”
Sophie - “Yes…”
Blitz - “Then you have to drink it.”
Sophie took the little cup and drank the medicine and made a gross out look on her face. Blitz slightly chuckled and covered Sophie with the blanket and put her stuffed animal Fluffy next to her.
Blitz - “We will check your temperature tomorrow. Just try to get some rest okay?”
Sophie - *yawns* “Okay Blitzy.”
Sophie fell asleep and Blitz gave her a kiss on the cheek. Gave her a pet on the head and left for his room. Hoping that tomorrow Sophie won’t be as sick since giving her the medicine.
()()()()()()()()
The next morning Sophie was still feeling sick. However, she was also feeling itchy as well. She was scratching her arm and her back a lot.
Sophie - *annoyed* “Must be those dumb mosquitos. Better put on some lotion.”
Sophie went to her bathroom and moved her stool to the sink so she could open the medicine cabinet. When she got on her stool, she saw orange and green spots all over her. Sophie screamed in horror and ran out the bathroom and went under the covers. Hearing Sophie screaming, Blitz immediately ran to her room. Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, Sir Pentious, Husk and Niffty also burst into the rooms with weapons.
Angel - “Who hurt Sophie?!”
Charlie - “Is she okay?!”
Blitz - *sees Sophie under the covers* “Sophie, we heard you scream! What happened?”
Sophie - “Don’t look at me! I’m ugly!”
Charlie - “Sophie, you’re not ugly. We think you’re adorable.”
Sophie - “But I got spots all over me.”
Vaggie - *confused* “Spots?”
Niffty - *hyper* “Ooh! I can clean them off if she got that from drawing!”
Blitz - “Sophie, let us see you.”
Sophie - “No!”
Blitz - “Sophie, how can we help you if we can’t see what’s wrong.”
Reluctantly, Sophie removed the covers. Everybody’s eyes widened in shock over Sophie having orange and green dots all over.
Sophie - *moans* “See, I told you I was ugly.”
Charlie - “Oh Sophie, you must come down with the Hell Pox.”
Angel - “What the fuck is Hell Pox?”
Sophie - *shocked and confused* “I got it from a chicken? I never even touched one!”
Charlie - *giggles* “No silly, it’s a common childhood illness. I had it before.”
Blitz - *realized it* “Oh yeah! I think I even caught it around Sophie’s age. *to Sophie* don’t worry baby girl, you will be okay.”
Sophie - *scratch* “But I’m still itchy.”
Charlie - “Hold it Sophie, you can’t scratch. You will make those dots worse.”
Angel - “And you will turn into a chicken!
Sophie - *scared* “Eep!” *hides in the covers*
Vaggie - *annoyed* “Angel cut it out!”
Angel - “What? It’s to help her not scratch.”
Blitz - *smack Angel on the back of the head* “Stupid idiot. *to Charlie* Do you have the medicine for Hell Pox Charlie?”
Charlie - “I’m afraid not.”
Blitz - *nervously* “W-what? But you have meds for every illness! We need something for Hell Pox!
Charlie - “Whoa Blitz calm down! Even though I don’t have it, I think my aunt Zella has it.”
Blitz - “R-right! She’s a witch doctor! She can help! Perfect! That’s perfect!”
Niffty - “Ooh we can ask Alastor! Maybe he can help.”
Blitz - “No way. Alastor is the LAST person I would ask for help. I don’t trust that radio loving bastard.”
Husk - “Welcome to the club.”
Blitz - “Anyway going to Zella is fine. She’s one of the few people that I trust.”
Charlie - “I’ll go with you.”
Angel - “Me too. I’m worried about Blitzy Que. It looks like he is about to pluck out all his hair.”
Blitz - *take a deep breath* “Okay I’m calm. *to Vaggie* Vaggie, can you and the others please watch over Sophie until I get the proper meds for Sophie?”
Vaggie - “Don’t worry Blitz. We won’t let you down.”
Sir Pentious - “Maybe using some snake oil or tonic can help the little one.”
Husk - “That shit doesn't work. It's a bunch of fake nonsense.”
Sophie - “Good luck Blitz.”
Blitz - “And remember Sophie, no scratching.”
()()()()()()()()()
Charlie, Blitz, and Angel went to Zella’s house. Charlie knocked on the door and it was their youngest cousin Sonya and Liz.
Sonya - *happy* “Hey cousin Charlie!”
Charlie - “Hey Sonya! Is your Mom home?”
Sonya - “Yeah. She’s in her office.”
Blitz - “We need to talk to her.”
Angel - “Like really bad.”
Sonya - “Alright I’ll take you guys.”
Sonya led them to her Mom’s office. They saw her mom Zella, reading a book and mixing something in a black pot.
Sonya - “Mom, Charlie and her friends are here.”
Zella - “Oh hello there. What brings you all here?”
Charlie - “Auntie Zella we need your help. Sophie is sick.”
Zella - *worried* “Oh my! Is it a cold that keeps coming by?”
Angel - “No. It's the Hell Pox.”
Blitz - “Charlie and I had it around Sophie’s age. We are here for the cure.”
Zella - *glumly* “That I’m afraid I don’t have. I’m sorry that you are now dismayed.”
Blitz - *shocked and nervous* “W-What?! What do you mean you don’t have?! You’re one of the best witch doctors in town!!”
Charlie - “Whoa! Whoa! Blitz calm down!”
Blitz - *freaking out* “My sister is sick!! How can I stay calm about this?!”
Sonya - “‘Mom, I thought Hell Pox was a common illness?”
Zella - “It used to be there, but now Hell Pox is now rare.”
Blitz - *desperate* “Zella please! We need a cure for Sophie!”
Zella - “I don’t have the cure, but I know somebody who does I’m sure.”
Angel - “Really who?”
Zella - “His name is Dr. Crow. He has all the cures that should ease your woes.”
Charlie - “Okay that’s perfect! Where is his office?”
Zella - “In the Sloth ring. But to be warned, searching and asking him will be a hard thing.”
Sonya - “What do you mean Mom?”
Zella - “Dr. Crow only helps those he thinks are worthy. So please, be careful on this journey.”
Blitz - *determined* “Don’t worry Zella. We can handle this.”
Angel - *unsure* “Wait, since I’m a sinner, am I allowed to go to the rings?”
Charlie - “Oh yes. As long as you are with a hellborn like me, it's perfectly fine.”
Angel - “Alright let’s do this!”
()()()()()()()()
Charlie, Blitz, and Angel went to the Sloth Ring. Angel looked around and was impressed.
Angel - “Huh. Gotta admit this place looks really nice.”
Blitz - “Yeah. I think it’s gotta be one of the least dangerous rings.”
Charlie - “Okay guys. The street Auntie Zella told us to go to see Dr. Crow is the address of 312 Snooze Lane.”
Blitz - “Come on! We gotta go now. How long does it take to get there?”
Charlie - *looks at her phone* “It said either take 30 minutes by bus or car, or an hour by walking.”
Blitz - “We can’t wait that long! I got a faster idea.”
Blitz carried Charlie bridal style and had Angel climb on his back. Then he began to fly to 312 Snooze Lane.
Charlie - *amazed* “Man I haven’t been in somebody's arms flying since my Dad did this.”
Angel - “Ya mean last week?”
Charlie - *chuckles nervously* “Oh yeah.”
Angel - “Ya sure we aren’t making it hard for you Blitz?”
Blitz - “No don’t worry. You guys basically weigh nothing. We should be there in a few minutes.”
True to Blitz’s words, they managed to get to the street they needed in 10 minutes. After landing, Charlie heard her phone vibrating and it was Vaggie calling to FaceTime her. Charlie picked up the phone and Vaggie said:
Vaggie - “Have you guys gotten the meds yet?”
Charlie - “Uhh not yet.”
Blitz - *butting in* “Is Sophie okay?!”
Vaggie - *worried* “She’s broke down into a fever but she’s resting now.”
Vaggie showed Charlie, Angel, and Blitz that Sophie was now resting. But she has a wet cloth on her forehead and her cheeks was red showing that she was flushed with a fever. Fat nuggets and KeeKee and are resting next to her as an attempt to comfort her. Husk was using his wings to gently fan Sophie to keep her cool. Niffty and Pentious were looking at Sophie with worry. But the one who was worried the most was Blitz who even looked like he was going to break down in tears.
Blitz - *super worried* “Tell Sophie to hang in there! We are about to get the meds!”
Charlie - “We will be back soon Vaggie.”
Charlie hung up the phone. Then she and Angel saw how Blitz was holding his head and pacing.
Blitz - *desperate* “We need that cure now! Like right now! I know! Maybe we can steal it!! That Crow guy wouldn’t notice right? They have a lot of meds right?!”
Angel - “Blitz calm down! You’re gonna give yourself a panic attack!”
Blitz - *scared of his mind* “HOW CAN I STAY CALM WITH MY SISTER SICK?!”
Angel - “Because acting like a demon who is desperate for a date isn’t gonna help!”
Charlie - “Please Blitz! Calm down and take deep breaths.”
Deciding that Charlie and Angel are right, Blitz began to take a few deep breaths. After a few minutes, Blitz was calming down.
Angel - “Babe, why are you acting like this? I know ya worried about your baby sister but acting like a hell chicken without a head isn’t gonna help her get better.”
Blitz - *sighs* “Yeah you're right. It's just that whenever Sophie gets sick, I go out of my mind to make sure she gets better. Even when my parents were here, I still worried about Sophie getting sick. I remember this one time, when she was little, she came down with this really bad fever and it really worried my parents. They were worried that she wouldn’t make it. At that time, I felt so goddamn helpless that I couldn’t do anything to help *voice breaking* what kind of brother am I if I can’t take care of my sister?!”
Blitz then let some tears fell down his face. Feeling sorry for Blitz, both Charlie and Angel put a hand on his shoulder.
Charlie - “Blitz, you’re a wonderful big brother to Sophie. You care and love her a lot.”
Angel - “Ya know how many people would kill to have a brother like you?”
Charlie - “You made so many sacrifices for her just to keep her safe and happy. Your parents would be so proud of you for taking care of her.”
Angel - “Sophie would always say what an awesome big brother you are. That to me, sound like you’re doing a good job.”
Blitz looked at Charlie and Angel with tears in his eyes. But this time it was tears of joy and gave them both a hug. They smiled and hugged him back.
Blitz - “Thanks guys *sniff and wipe his tears* I really needed that.”
Angel - “Come on. Let get that cure for Sophie”
()()()()()()()()
At 312 Snooze Lane they walked for 5 minutes until they went to a building in an alleyway. Charlie looks at the note Zella gave her and turns out to be the right place.
Charlie - “Well this is the place.”
Angel - “This looks like a place where I would sell drugs.”
Blitz - “Let's just get it over with.”
Charlie knocked on the door and it opened on its own. It creeped her out a bit, but they all headed inside. The lights were fairly dimmed, and walls and floors had dried blood on them. On the walls, there was shelves full of jars of random things like eyeballs, hands, ears, etc. Charlie, Blitz and Angel felt a bit creeped out seeing that and then they heard a deep voice:
“I see you all like my collection.”
Dr. Crow came out and he was a tall demon who was dressed as a plague doctor. But his mask had red marks around the eyes, his tail was longer and pointer and was wearing white gloves.
Dr. Crow - “One of my favorites is this one.”
He held up a jar that had feathers with dried blood on them.
Dr. Crow - “A Goetia got badly hurt and I was one of the lucky doctors that managed to join in doing the surgery. Thanks to my knowledge, he lived.”
Angel - “Look, we ain’t got time for your creepy fetishes. We need ya help.”
Charlie - *nervously* “I-I believe you know my Aunt?”
Dr. Crow - *nodding* “Ah yes. Zella Morningstar. She is also one of the doctors I truly respect.”
Charlie - “Right. So can we have the cure?”
Dr. Crow - “No.”
Blitz - *mad* “No?! What do you mean no?!”
Dr. Crow - “I don’t just give out my cures. You have to earn them.”
Charlie - “Is it money? Because I have no problem paying for it.”
Dr. Crow - *shakes his head* “No. It has nothing to do with money, Princess. What I mean is, in order to get the cure from me, one of you has to defeat me in a fight.”
Blitz - *quickly* “I’ll do it.”
Angel - *worried* “Blitz…”
Blitz - “Don’t worry, I can handle this.”
Dr. Crow - “Very well.”
Dr. Crow took off his clock revealing underneath was a black and gray armor ninja suit. Blitz ran toward him and threw a punch but Dr. Crow moved quickly before Blitz landed the punch.
Blitz - *surprised* “What the hell? Where did he go?”
Then he felt like getting kicked in the back and landed roughly on the ground. He saw it was Dr. Crow who did that, and Blitz got up and attempted to kick him. But Dr. Crow grabbed him by the ankle and threw him across the room like a ragdoll. Then Blitz try to throw a few punches but Dr. Crow managed to block them with ease.
Dr. Crow - “Give up?”
Blitz - “Never!”
Dr. Crow - “Very well.”
Dr. Crow came at swift speed as an attempt to punch Blitz, but Blitz quickly flew up high in the air. Dr. Crow took out some needles from his pockets and threw them toward Blitz at a fast speed. But Blitz managed to dodge every single one of them. Dr. Crow even took out some sharp skin hook tools and threw it at Blitz. Once again, Blitz managed to dodge them with ease. However, one did get into his right wing. Blitz shouted in pain, but he grabbed the hook and pulled it out not caring about the pain and blood.
Dr. Crow - “I can see how strong you are.”
Then Dr. Crow even took out a scalpel and jumped in the air and tried to stab Blitz. But Blitz use his magic power and punched Dr. Crow to the ground even cracking his mask.
Blitz - *darkly* “I don’t care how many needles or scalpels you throw at me. I’m not going to give up on my sister.”
Dr. Crow - *chuckles* “You did it my dear boy. You pass.”
Blitz, Charlie, Angel - *shocked and confused* “Wait what?”
Charlie - “I’m sorry, I don’t understand what just happened.”
Angel - “Ya mean this whole thing was just some lame fucking test?”
Dr. Crow - “In a way yes. You see, when somebody asks me the cures they need for an illness, I challenge them to see if they are worthy because sometimes they want the medicines I have either just to sell them for money, or their greedy addictions. But you’re one of the few that wanted them to truly help the person they care about. *smiles* Just like your mother.”
Charlie - *eyes widen* “You knew Blitz’s mom?”
Dr. Crow - *nods* “Oh yes. Josephine actually helped me learn to be the doctor that I am today. Even Zella helped me out and showed me some magic as well. I greatly admire her and taught me to give those who truly deserve it.”
Blitz - *smiles fondly* “That sounds like my mom alright.”
Dr. Crow - “Zella also told me about your younger sister having Hell Pox. I shall give you the cure, but you can also let it run its course if you want.”
Charlie - “You mean, Sophie can be cured about the meds?”
Dr. Crow - “Yeah. She will be better in 5 months.”
Blitz - “Better off getting the meds.”
Dr. Crow - “Of course. Also here I feel like this can help you out in the future.”
Dr. Crow gave him Blitz a very old book that was full of cures of any illness and injuries.
Blitz - “Thanks. But don’t you need it?”
Dr. Crow - “Don’t worry. I got plenty.”
Charlie - “Thank goodness you passed that test Blitz.”
Dr. Crow - “I agree because if you did lose, I would have either your wings or your ear as a trophy.”
Blitz - *creeped* “Uh right…Well thanks anyway Doc.”
()()()()()()()()
After heading back to the hotel, Blitz was in the kitchen. After making it in a cup he quickly went to Sophie’s room and she was awake but still felt ill with the fever.
Sophie - *weakly* “Blitzy?”
Blitz - “Don’t worry baby girl. Blitzy is going to make you better now. You gotta drink this medicine.”
Blitz gently held Sophie’s head up and helped her drink the medicine. Sophie drank every last drop of it.
Sophie - “It wasn’t yucky.”
Blitz - *chuckles* “That’s good. Now get some rest Sophie.”
Sophie smiled and fell asleep as Blitz sat in the chair watching his sister in case of anything.”
()()()()()()()()()
Over the next few days, Sophie was getting better. Her fever went down a lot and her hell pox was going away. Blitz even made a special cream from the book Dr. Crow made to help stop the itching and make the spots go away faster.
Later on Blitz was taking Sophie’s temperature. After a few seconds. Blitz check what the thermometer said it was 97.2.
Blitz - “97.2 looks like you’re all better Sophie.”
Sophie - *happy* “Yay! I’m so glad they are gone. They were super itchy and annoying.”
Blitz - “I’m happy too Baby Girl. Thanks to this book, we don’t have to worry about any illness or injury again.”
Sophie - “I knew you would make me better from this illness, big brother. You’re the best brother ever.”
Sophie gave Blitz a big hug. Blitz smiles and hugs Sophie back.
Blitz - “Thank you Sophie. You know I’ll do anything for you.”
Hope you like it ^^

Bats in the Hotel
This is for one my best friends @loli-momo1908 as a late birthday gift. I hope you and everybody else enjoy. Happy birthday!
Blitz and Sophie McKnights are her OCs not mine
At the 666 Styx Apartments, a tall bat demon with blue and purple mix hair, big blue and black bat wings, blue freckles, light gray skin, a purple moon symbol at the end of his eyes. He was wearing a spiked collar choker, spiked bracelet, a white shirt with a gray skull on it, a brown jacket, black ripped jeans, and black shoes. This demon is named Bradley McKnight, but he goes by the nickname Blitz. Blitz was walking down in the hallway and some demons quickly got out of his way. Thanks to his powerful witchcraft magic and his violent anger issues, most citizens became afraid of him. They would do their best not to anger him and simply ignore him. Not that Blitz doesn’t mind nor care.
He went to the landlord's office and saw his landlord whom everybody called Flip. He was known as Flip because he was known to change his mind or change rules of the apartments he owned. Flip was a raccoon demon who wearing a dirty ripped tank top, blue jeans, and some brown pointy boots. Blitz came into his office which was pretty messy since I have a lot of junk, trash, money, shiny things, and a broken curtain blind. Flip smirk as Blitz came into his office.
Flip - “Ya got my money McNight?”
Blitz - “Yeah. Right here.”
Blitz gave Flip his monthly rent. Flip chuckles as he took the money and snuggle it like it was a teddy bear. Blitz looked confused but then rolled his eyes. Flip was one of those demons who just love money more than life itself.
Blitz - “Alright you got your money. I’m out of here.”
Flip - “Hold it! We aren’t through yet McNight.”
Blitz - *confused* “What hell are you talking about I already paid you.”
Flip - “Yes. But starting today I made a new rent price. Since you have paid me 500, I decided to up it to 1500.”
Blitz - *eyes widen* “What?!”
Flip - “And I expect it at the end of month.”
Blitz - “Do you expect me to have it at the end of the month?! I don’t shit money from my ass you know?!”
Flip - “Well figure it out how to get my money or your ass is on the street!”
Blitz - *growls* “I don’t need this shit! Give me back my money Flip. My sister and I are moving out!”
Flip - *laughs hysterically* Yeah right!! *laughs and stop* Listen Junior, you live here for 2 years and no there’s no refund. Now flutter your ass back to figure out how to get my fucking money!”
This is we’re Flip made the biggest mistake of his life. Blitz was so furious at this, he grabbed Flip by his tangtop so his face was close to Blitz’s. Flip saw how Blitz eyes were now red and had an angry look on his face along with his fist ready to punch him.
Flip - *scared* “Oh shit! No! No! Not the face!”
A lot of the tenant saw in horror that Blitz was giving Flip the beating of the life time. Some had to cover their eyes, while others looked in shock on how Blitz was beating up their landlord. They heard Flip crying for mercy, but those words fell deaf on Blitz’s ears. Then Blitz finish the beating by placing a trash can on Flip’s head.
Blitz took his money and angrily left the room. He was so angry to the point that he pushed some demons out of the way. He went to his apartment and took some deep breaths while closing his eyes. He always remembers how his mother Josephine would tell him whenever he feels angry, he should take deep breaths and think of the things that make him happy.
“Are you okay Blitz?”
Blitz opened his eyes and saw his little baby Sophie. Sophie was a 7-year-old bat demon with light gray skin, the end of her eyes had pink moon design, gray hair with the ends of her hair were pink. Her hair was tied in two pig tails with bows and wearing a purple dress with butterfly design, a pink bow in front with a dark pink long sleeve. She also had little bat wings that were gray and pink and some pink shoes. Sophie was one of the few good things in Blitz's life and made him happy.
Blitz - *smiles* “Yeah Sophie. I’m okay. Just a rough day.”
Sophie - “Would I have to go to work with you again?”
Blitz - “Oh no not today. Listen Sophie *kneel down to her height* We are going to find a new place.”
Sophie - *a bit dismayed* “Again?”
Blitz - “I know but late face it, this place is too small for us. And the neighbors aren’t very nice.”
Sophie - “Yeah that is true. I mean the one above us kept on jumping on the bed and I kept hearing springs squeaking. I’m happy he moved away after 2 weeks.”
Blitz - *nervous* “Right...He sure love to jump on the bed a lot.”
Another reason Blitz believes that it is better if he and Sophie moved out of the place, they are now because of the people there. Some are noisy, loud, robbers, creeps, crooks, etc. What was worst is that their upstairs former neighbor's bed would squeak a lot. Which means that a prostitute was living upstairs doing their daily “business”. However despite hearing that this prostitute is a famous pornstar, Blitz sometimes wonders why would they live in a crappy apartment building like this? But I was happy that the pornstar moved away.
Blitz - “Don't worry Baby sis, we will find a new place we can finally call home. I promise.”
Sophie - *smiles* “Okay!”
Blitz - “I’ll go get dinner ready.”
Blitz went to the kitchen part and started to prepare some dinner. Then Sophie decided to watch some TV. She had to be careful because some channels were way too adultism for her. She would watch TV on the imp’s channel or hellhound channels because there are some who would actually make cartoons or live action shows appropriate for kids. Whenever a sinner makes a cartoon, they would always make it either dark and violent, or horny. Sophie turned on the TV and saw the tv was on the 666 News Channel which she didn’t like because to her, the news was always boring.
Just when Sophie was about to channel, something caught her eye. She saw a demon with beautiful blonde hair, wearing a tuxedo, have rosy cheeks and was singing. She had a beautiful singing voice and was singing a song:
Charlie - “So all you junkies, freaks, and weirdos
Creepers, fuckups, crooks, and zeros
And downfallen superheroes, help is here.
All of you cretins, sluts and losers, sexual deviants, and boozers
And prescription drug abusers, need not fear.
Forever again, we'll cure your sin.
We'll make you well, you'll feel so swell.
Right here in Hell at the Happy Hotel
There'll be no more fire and no more screams.
Just puppy dog kisses and cotton candy dreams
And puffy-wuffy clouds, you're gonna be like, wow!
Once you check in with me!”
Sophie’s eyes widened in amazement. The song was not only great, but the Happy Hotel sounded like an amazing place for her and Blitz to live at. She quickly rushes to her brother who was busy cooking dinner.
Sophie - *tug her brother’s pants* “Blitzy! Look at the TV!”
Blitz - *cooking* “Sophie, I'm a little busy.”
Sophie - *pleaded* “Please! It’s super important.”
Blitz - “Well alright.”
Blitz quickly turn off the stove and went to the living room part. He saw on TV of the song that was being played and performed. This was leaving Blitz a bit confused on what was going on.
Sophie - “Why don’t we live at the Happy Hotel?”
Blitz - *confused* “The Happy Hotel?”
Sophie - “Yeah! The pretty girl said how she can take in demons in her hotel and make their lives better!”
Blitz - *doubtful* “I don’t know Sophie...You can’t trust everything you see on TV.”
Sophie - “But I think it can really help us Blitzy. Please?”
Before Blitz could say anything else, they both were flickering noises. Then all of a sudden, the lights went off and Blitz and Sophie were now in the dark.
Blitz - “Happy Hotel it is then.”
()()()()()()()()()()
Blitz and Sophie were walking in the city with their suitcases. They are heading to the Happy Hotel for their new homes. Sophie was skipping along looking happy, while Blitz was looking a bit doubtful. As long as he can remember, he and Sophie would move to different places due to either rent being too high, or it is getting destroyed. Hopefully, this Happy Hotel can finally be the stable home Blitz wants for Sophie.
Sophie - “I can’t wait to go to our new home! You think the place will be big?”
Blitz - “Hopefully Sophie. It would be good if we had our own rooms so we can have our own space.”
Sophie - “I just hope the people are nice.”
Blitz - “Me too. But don’t worry I’ll protect you.”
Sophie - *smiles* “Thanks Blitzy!”
Blitz - *smiles* “Anytime Baby sis.”
Then all of a sudden, thanks to Blitz 'good hearing he heard a bomb being lit. He turned around and a small bomb heading toward him and Sophie. He quickly picked up Sophie and hid behind a destroyed building. The bomb exploded and luckily, Blitz and Sophie weren't hurt. But then something crashes between them.
After the smoke was cleared, Blitz saw a tall white demon spider with wild looking hair with pink spots on it, his eye was all black while the other one was normal. He is wearing a pink and white stripe feminine tuxedo, a dark pink bow tie, a black choker, four arms with pink gloves, black mini skirt, and long thigh high boots. Blitz stared at him for a while, never seeing a demon like him. He was starting to get a strange feeling about this spider demon that he never felt before.
Sir Pentious - “Take this!”
Sir Pentious moves the chain that he wrapped Angel in and slams across the other street. Blitz and Sophie gasps in horror on what they were just seeing.
Sophie - “Blitzy! You have to do something! That mean snake man can really hurt him!”
Blitz - “Don't worry Sophie, I’ll help him!”
Angel see’s Sir Pentious coming up to him looking menacing. But this didn’t scare Angel one bit.
Angel Dust: *jokingly* “Ohh~, harder, daddy!”
Sir Pentious: *taking it seriously as he gasps* “Son?!”
Angel raises an eyebrow believe that’s not only Sir Pentious was this old and stupid at the same time. Then Blitz saw a cyclop demon with cherry blonde hair, wearing black tights, one boot, red crop top and shirt running. Cherri kicks Sir Pentious to the side while Blitz helps Angel get untied from the chains.
Sir Pentious: *hood flares open* Grr! You whores have no classss! In war, the side remembered is the side with the most ssstyle! *Adjusts tie*
Cherri Bomb - “Or the side that ain't dead!” *Decapitates an Egg Boi*
Angel Dust - “Speakin' a style, is your hat like, alive or something?”
Sir Pentious - “Oh! Well, that's none of your GOD DAMN BUSSSSINESS! Now, is it?!”
Angel Dust - “Hah, would that make your hat the top and you the bottom?”
Blitz couldn’t help but chuckled at Angel’s roast at Sir Pentious roast.
Egg Boi: *cups hands* Oooooh! *Gets pebble thrown at him by Sir Pentious*
Sir Pentious: *enraged* “I'm going to blow you to bitssss.
Angel Dust: *eyes him up and down* Hm, kinky!
Sir Pentious: Oh, not like that! *Hood flares* Pervert! *Knocks over an Egg Boi*
Then an Egg Boi with a gun that releases arm-shaped shadows with eyes aims at Angel and Cherri as Angel quickly shoves Cherri aside. Then Angel had all his wrists held by the shadows. Blitz was shocked of seeing this.
Sir Pentious - “Not so cocky now, are we?!”
Blitz - *mad* “Let go of him!”
Angel Dust - *to Blitz* “It’s okay babe. I got this. *unamused* Y'know, you really gotta watch what comes outta ya mouth. I've been making these sex jokes the whole *limbs get pulled on as Sir Pentious reveals a drill which jump starts* TIME! *Reveals his third pair of arms carrying a gun* And it's obvious ya ain't catchin' on. I mean, it's just *shoots Sir Pentious to the side* sad!”
The vines freed Angel and he quickly set his third arms inside of him. Blitz was impressed that Angel was able to free himself quickly. Then Blitz walk up to him and spoke.
Blitz - “Are you okay?”
Angel - “Eh. I had worst. Name Angel Dust by the way.”
Cherri Bomb - And I’m Cherri Bomb!”
Just before Blitz about to say his name, Sir Pentious got up and said:
Sir Pentious - “This isn’t over you peasant!”
He took out a laser gun and was about to shoot them. But then Cherri kicks the gun away and it landed near Sophie’s feet. Sophie picked it up and saw Sir Pentious looking at her and said:
Sir Pentious - “Oh you, their child. Hand that laser to me! I promise to give you candy afterwards.”
Sophie - “That does sound pretty good...But I’m not gonna let you hurt my big brother!”
Sophie then threw the laser against the wall. Angel and Cherri were impressed that a little kid like Sophie can be really brave. However, this made Sir Pentious really mad.
Sir Pentious - “You are going to pay for that you little brat!”
Sir Pentious sent out his Egg bois to hurt Sophie. Sophie looked scared and covered her eyes in fear. Just before one of the Egg Bois can use a taser gun on Sophie, for some strange reason. The Egg Boi exploded.
Sir Pentious - *confused* “What the hell?”
Then he saw Sophie float up by some magical witchcraft and into the arms of her brother. Blitz’s eyes were now red, and he looked really pissed.
Blitz - *serious* “Don't. EVER harmed my baby sister!!”
He steps on the ground hard and then the ground shakes a little and a giant fist punches Sir Pentious and his egg army away. Angel and Cherri were amazed at the powerful magic they just witnessed. Sophie then gave her brother a big hug.
Sophie - “Thank you Blitzy! You’re the best.”
Blitz - *smiled* “Hey, it’s my job to keep my baby sister safe.”
Angel - *eyes up* “Oh so Blitzy is your name huh?”
Blitz - *blushes a bit embarrassed* “It’s actually Blitz. I’m Blitz McKnight and this is my baby sister Sophie.”
Angel - “Ooh! What a sexy last name for a strong guy like you.”
Cherri - *impressed* “I have to say: it was pretty badass if you did that magic mumbo-jumbo.”
Blitz - “Thanks. That guy deserves it.”
Cherri - “Well I better get going. Thanks for the backup Angie!”
Angel - “Anytime Sugar Tits!”
After Cherri left, Blitz, Sophie and Angel noticed a white limo was coming toward them.
Angel - “Oh! There’s my ride.”
Then the limo stops, and it showed a VERY pissed Vaggie. Charlie stepped out and her sleeve was ripped and looked sad. But she did notice the McKnight siblings and Sophie said:
Sophie - “That’s the singing lady from TV!”
Everybody looked confused on Sophie’s statement.
Blitz - “I’ll explain.”
()()()()()()()()()
As they were getting driven back to the hotel, a lot of things was on Blitz’s mind. He was still shocked that the “Singing Lady” Sophie saw on TV was actually the Princess of Hell herself. He was actually surprised that she was sweet and kind since some princesses can be spoiled brats. He learned how thanks to the turf war, it ruined Charlie’s reputation of the hotel...Whatever the reputation was and Charlie was very upset. Blitz feels bad since it looks like she’s working so hard on this project and thanks to one certain demon, it just went down the toilet.
Sophie was looking around the limo amaze that she never been in a car like this. Charlie was still devastated that her hotel reputation just went down the tubes even more. While she was happy that at least two people were interested, it still wasn’t enough. She wanted to help at least 50% of the demons. She sighed and looked out the window and saw her girlfriend Vaggie looking angry at Angel who was too busy playing with the car window button. Then he noticed Vaggie’s glare and Blitz’s annoyed face.
Angel Dust: *taking notice* ...What?
Vaggie- *enraged* "What?", "WHAT?"?! What were you DOING?! *Rips off her hair*
Angel Dust - *sighs* I owed my girl buddy a solid! Isn't that a "redeeming quality"? Helping friends with stuff? *Rolls eyes*
Vaggie - “Not with turf wars that result in territorial genocide!”
Angel Dust - “Eh, you win some, you lose a few hundred. Ehahahahahah! *Inhales* *proceeds to play with the car window button* It wasn't that bad, anyway.”
Angel almost gets hit with a knife thrown his way. He noticed Vaggie’s glare and was the one that threw the knives.
Blitz - “I for one think it was pretty bad. Half of the street was destroyed! You couldn’t just leave?”
Angel - “Aw, come on! I had to! *Brushes back hair* My credibility was on the line! I mean, what kind of reputation would I have if people found out I was trying to go clean? It just throws out my entire persona! *Suggestively pushes up chest floof*
Vaggie - “Your credibility? What about the hotel's?! *Gestures at Charlie* Your little stunt made us look like a fucking joke!”
Angel Dust: *scoffs* No, no, no, babe. Jokes are funny! I made you look... uh, sad! And pathetic! Like an orphan... with no arms... or legs... Oh! With progeria!”
Blitz was getting really annoyed and angry with Angel right now. Especially with all the dark things he's been saying. He was just lucky Sophie was there because he would have actually beat up Angel for not caring about damaging the hotel reputation even more. And was even more lucky that Sophie was too busy being amazed by the limo and not paying attention to anything that Angel was saying or anybody else for a matter of fact.
Angel - *pissed* “Great! Now I'm bummed thinkin' about it! *Starts looking around the limousine* This thing have any liquor?”
Vaggie - “Can you please just try to take this seriously?”
Angel Dust: *flicks off a dust bunny* “Fine, I'll try. Just don't get your taco in a twist, baby!” *Snaps finger at her while smiling*
Vaggie - *angry* “Was that you trying to be sexist or racist?!”
Angel Dust: *groans* “Whatever pisses you off more. Is there seriously no liquor in here?!
Blitz - *annoyed* “How can you think of liquor at a time like this?!”
Angel - *shrugs* “It’s always a good time for liquor. Helps you can’t feel anything for a while.”
Vaggie - “returns to sit next to Charlie as she crosses her arms* “I'm gonna kill him!”
Angel Dust - “Too late, toots. Wait! Would that make me double dead? Hah, and where exactly do I go? To Double Hell? Hahahahahahahaha! Sorry, you're stuck with me, bitch. Get used to it *folds arms confidently*.
Vaggie: *angrily, as she grits her teeth* Come mierda malparido!
Blitz - *trying to keep calm* “You have no idea how badly I want to punch you right now.”
Angel Dust - “Listen, who cares if some jack-offs got hurt? Most of 'em are ugly freaks. Look around! *Looks out the limousine window, smirking* You got a bunch a fuckin' harlequin-looking babies down here!” *laughing*
Vaggie - “You're one to talk.” *Smiles smugly*
Angel Dust - *offended* “Hey! *motions to his body* This body is flawless! Everyone wants summa me, *pushes up chest fluff and takes out a letter* and I've got the creepy fan letters to prove it!”
The fan letter with a picture of a dirty naked middle-aged man, who ironically has a "No Angel Dust '' tattoo, licking an Angel Dust body pillow attached with the message saying "Show me your feet!! -Bryrin, #1 Fan Critic" is shown. Blitz eyes widen in surprise and say:
Blitz - “Angel! That’s disgusting!”
Angel - “What? I got some good ones too if you wanna take a look at it.”
Vaggie - “Grrr…”
Angel - “And let not forget Blitz. You were a part of that turf war too.”
Blitz - *mad* “First of all, I didn’t know about the hotel being on the news. Second, the only reason I took part was to protect my baby sister. So all of this is still your fault!”
Charlie - “That was really uncool, y'know, Angel.”
Vaggie - *disbelief* "Uncool"? After that train-wreck, there is no way anyone is gonna wanna stay at the hotel! *looks toward Angel Dust* All thanks to *points at him* you and your selfish bullshit!
Blitz - “Nice going Angel. Now people won’t come.”
Angel Dust: Does that mean I don't have a free room anymore? *snaps finger* Ah, well shucks.”
Charlie: Hey, come on. *takes off ruined jacket* We don't know if things are over yet! Try to relax, Vaggie. *puts a hand on Vaggie's shoulder* I-it'll be okay! I mean we got Blitz and Sophie as our new guests.”
Blitz - “Yeah. I mean there are other ways to get people beside TV.”
Charlie - “Yeah! See? It will be alright.”
()()()()()()()()()
Once the limo stopped at the hotel, Sophie was the first one to get out and she stared at the hotel in amazement. She has never seen a hotel that is huge and looking old yet fancy at the same time.
Sophie - “This place is so cool!! I can’t wait to get inside!!”
Blitz - *chuckles* “Slow down their cowgirl. We gotta wait for the others first.”
They saw Charlie and Vaggie helping get their stuff out the limo’s trunk. Angel was leaning back on the limo and was on his phone. Vaggie looked annoyed and said:
Vaggie - “Well?!”
Angel - “Well what?”
Vaggie - “Aren’t gonna help out?”
Angel - “I did!”
He held up Sophie’s little pink bag. Vaggie looked really annoyed. Then Blitz came and said:
Blitz - “Don't worry I got this.”
Blitz used his magic and had the bags float in the air. Both Vaggie and Angel were impressed on Blitz’s magic.
Angel - “Wow! Look at you are using magic like the sexy witch you are.”
Blitz - *annoyed* “Don’t go horny on me you bastard.”
Angel chuckled and they all went inside of the hotel. Sophie saw how huge it is. There was a lot of tables, chairs, some couches, pictures, etc. Blitz was also amazed at the hotel but noticed how dirty it was. He kept his mouth shut so he wouldn’t sound so rude.
Blitz - “Hey Charlie, is it possible for Sophie and me to have separate rooms but still be close?”
Charlie - “Actually yes! It’s on the second floor. I’ll show you.”
Blitz and Sophie followed Charlie to the second floor upstairs. Then Charlie showed Blitz and Sophie their new rooms. There were a lot of rooms that were a few parts away from each other. It made Blitz a bit uncomfortable because he didn’t want Sophie to be that apart from him.
Charlie - “As you can see, there is lot of rooms that is separate from other rooms because I know there are some demons who don’t like being social. But I got the perfect rooms for you and Sophie.”
Charlie led Blitz to both rooms 215 and 216. Blitz saw how the rooms are close to each other, yet they are across from each other. Charlie opened the door to both rooms, and Blitz and Sophie eyes widen on how big they are. So far, the only things that were in both rooms were a dresser, some beds, and a closet. The wallpaper was old and tearing apart. Sophie, however, went into her room 216 and laid down on the bed.
Sophie - “This is so cool!! The room is big enough to fit a building! I can’t wait to set things up here!”
Blitz - *chuckles and smiles* “Hey easy their sis. We just got here.”
Vaggie came and gently down the boxes in Sophie’s new room. When Angel came with Blitz’s boxes, he just threw them on the floor without a care in the world.
Blitz - *annoyed* “Hey easy! You could of broke something.”
Angel - “What? It still in boxes.”
Blitz - “Ugh. Are you always like this?”
Vaggie - *rolled her eyes* “Trust me, he’s like that with everybody.”
Angel - “Not my fault I’m famous here. *to Blitz* And if you want later, we can come here for a cuddle time, Blitzy Que.”
Blitz’s eyes widened in embarrassment and blushed. His left eye twitch in annoyance and felt his fist tighten. Then he raises his fist and bop Angel right on the head.
Blitz - *angry* “Don’t call me that stupid name you dumbass!”
Angel - *chuckles and rubs his head* “Sorry you look like a Blitzy Que to me. It’s cute like you.”
Blitz - *annoyed and embarrassed* “Whatever.”
Charlie - “Don’t worry we will set things out soon in your rooms. In the meantime just either set things up or relax. I Uh…Gotta make a call.”
Then Charlie, Vaggie and Angel all went downstairs. Blitz look at the boxes Angel threw recklessly on the floor. He fixed them up and opened one up and was relief it wasn’t broken. It was a picture frame of him, his parents and Sophie when they were younger. The picture was always so special to him and made sure nothing bad ever happened to it. He saw how Sophie must have been tired from the excitement because was now asleep on her new bed. Blitz decide to sleep too since he basically had an exhausted day.
()()()()()()()()()
BOOOM!!!
The sound of the explosion quickly woke up Blitz and Sophie. Sophie looked scared as she ran to her brother in fear.
Sophie - *scared* “Big brother! I think something bad is happening! I heard a big boom!”
Blitz - *serious* “Yeah me too. Don’t worry Baby Sis, I'll see what it is. Just stay up here.”
Sophie - *worried* “Please be careful!”
Blitz - “Don't worry I promise.”
Blitz quickly flew downstairs and saw the lobby door was broken. When he looked outside, he saw Charlie and the others outside, but some tentacles and little demons wrapped around something. Then it exploded into pieces which deeply shocked Blitz . What caught his eye was a red deer demon that was coming toward him and keep on making some lame puns. Blitz then realize this was Alastor: The feared Radio Demon.
Alastor - “Oh why hello there! Care to join us for some jambalaya?”
Blitz - *confused* “Uhh…Sure?”
Alastor - “Oh wonderful! Yes, sir! This is the start of some real changes down here! The game is set! Now...
Alastor uses his magic for the last time to change the sign atop the hotel from "Happy Hotel" to "Hazbin Hotel". Blitz was surprised and suspicious of Alastor.
Alastor: *sinisterly* ...Stay tuned. Hahaha...!
As Blitz went inside, he noticed that the hotel looked a lot better and cleaner. He even noticed a bar was now added in the hotel. But that doesn’t matter to Blitz because he doesn’t drink any Alcohol. Then Blitz felt something on his shoulder, and it was a Niffty.
Blitz - *confused* “Uhh hi?”
Niffty - “Finally a man! My name is Niffty and I’m so glad a man is here. I haven’t seen one in a long time you know. Oooh! You feel muscular! I like muscular men!”
Blitz - *creeped out* “Uhh thanks?”
Husk - “Huh. A bat in the hotel? How fucking cliche.”
Blitz - *annoyed* “And you are?”
Husk - “None of your fucking business.”
Alastor - *chuckles* “Oh don’t mind Husk. He just a little upset is all.”
Husk - *angry* “A little?! Ya made me miss a poker game you sound a bitch! I was even about to win the whole damn pot. Ya just lucky this booze is helping me get the fuck over it.” *drinks*”
Angel - *flirty* “Hey if you want Husk, I can think of over ways for you to get over it.”
Husk - “Fuck off!”
Charlie - *happy* “Oh Blitz! I’m just so happy! Alastor decide to offer to help me with the hotel! My dream can have a chance to come true! But Uh *clear her throat* You should fix your hair.”
Blitz - *confused* “My hair?”
Blitz looked in a formally cracked mirror. His hair was messy thanks to having a bedhead. Blitz blushed in embarrassment.
Alastor - “I guess you can say He has a hairy situation! *laughs*”
Alastor laughed as he went to the kitchen to make some Jambalaya. Blitz sighed in annoyance and sat down on the couch not only annoyed at Alastor lame jokes, but how he basically humiliated himself. Then he felt somebody touch hair and it was Angel. Blitz was shocked because he never had anybody touch his hair before. Then Angel said:
Angel - “Hold still. I gotta damp your roots a little.”
He took out a small spray bottle and sprayed Blitz’s hair a few times. Then he took a fluffy towel to dry Blitz’s hair. Then Angel took out his pink flat iron, plugged into the wall, and began to flat iron Blitz’s hair.
Angel - “Let me know if it gets too hot, okay?”
Blitz didn’t answer. Instead, he was blushing due to Angel’s “breast” being in front of his face. He wanted to say that it was making him uncomfortable but couldn’t spit it out for some reason. After flat ironing it, Angel took out a comb and comb Blitz’s hair and took out some hair gel and put some on Blitz’s hair. Angel handed Blitz one of his mirrors and saw how he looked now, and he was impressed.
Blitz - *touched* “Wow Angel…I-I don’t know what to say.”
Angel - “Hey don’t sweat it babe. I had bad hair days before, so I know what it’s like.”
Blitz smiles at this. Turns out there’s more to Angel than he thought. Then all of a sudden, Blitz heard Sophie scream.
Blitz - “Sophie?!”
Blitz began to fly upstairs at amazing speeds. This impressed everyone. They all decided to go upstairs as quickly as possible to see if Sophie was alright. Blitz then flew into Sophie’s room and saw her in the corner of her room looking scared.
Blitz - *concerned* “Sophie what’s wrong?”
Sophie - *scared* “T-There’s a monster in my room!”
Blitz - “A monster?”
They heard some scratching noises. Sophie got scared and hug Blitz tightly. Blitz held on to Sophie right as he looked around to find the monster. Then he saw next to Sophie bed a moving box.
Sophie - “That’s the monster!”
Blitz - *suspicious* “Hmmm…”
Blitz use his magic to lift off the box to see what was under there. To his and Sophie’s surprise, what was under the box that was considered the “monster” was a little pink pig. The pink pig looked at them, did a cute snort, and laid on his back.
Blitz - *confused* “A pig?”
Sophie - “Aww!! It’s so cute! I think it wants a tummy rub.”
Sophie was to go over to pet the pig, but then Blitz stopped her.
Blitz - “Careful Sophie. We don’t know if this thing has rabies or something.”
“Oh there you are Fat Nuggets!”
Blitz and Sophie turned around and saw Angel at the doorway with Charlie and the others. Angel patted his legs with his lower hands. Then Fat Nuggets began to walk toward Angel and Angel picked him up. Angel began to hug Fat Nuggets and saw Blitz's confused face staring at him.
Angel - “What? Have you never seen a guy cuddling his pet?”
Blitz - *confused* “Your pet?”
Angel - “Yeah. Fat Nuggets is my pet pig. *held Fat Nuggets close to Blitz’s face* Say hello!”
Fat Nuggets sniff Blitz and happily licks Blitz’s face, much to Blitz’s disgust. Sophie giggled at this.
Blitz - “Ugh!” *wipe his hand with his face* You actually care for that thing?”
Angel - *hugs Fat Nuggets* “I love Fat Nuggets! He’s my baby boy.”
Sophie - “Angel, can I play with him?”
Angel - “Of course! He also loves belly rubs.”
Angel gave Sophie Fat Nuggets and she gently held him in her arms. Fat Nuggets sniffed Sophie, and then happily licked her face. Sophie giggled and started to give Fat Nuggets a belly rub. Fat Nuggets smiled and oink happily.
Angel - “Aw look like that! Fat Nuggets like you.”
Sophie - “And I like him too!”
Alastor - *calling from downstairs* “Oh come downstairs! The jambalaya is ready!”
Angel - “Oh thank god I’m starving.”
()()()()()()()()()
Blitz and Sophie at their jambalaya upstairs. The reason why is because Blitz didn’t feel comfortable being in the same room with Alastor. The strangest feeling he had with Alastor is like he knew Alastor, but she doesn’t at the same time. But he pushes that feeling to the side because he also feels like he has to protect his sister from him. Demons like Alastor are never to be trusted. But he has to admit, Alastor does make a mean jambalaya.
Blitz went downstairs and began to walk around the hotel. He would wash his and Sophie’s bowls, but Niffty took care of that quickly. Then as he was walking around, he heard a voice.
“It’s been a long time since I last saw you…... Bradley.”
Blitz eyes widened as he halted. The only people who knew his real name were his parents. Blitz turned around and Alastor who was flashing his widened smile at him. Blitz stared at him with surprised yet suspicious glare at the Radio Demon. He was a bit scared but try to stay calm.
Blitz - “I’m sorry…... Do I know you?… And how did you know my real name?”
Alastor - “My dear boy, don’t you recognize me? I used to babysit you while your dear mother and father were away for a while. I just can’t believe how grown you’ve become after all these years.”
Blitz kept looking at him a bit suspiciously yet recognizing that familiar smile as he looked a bit surprised even more. Then he suddenly remembers something from his childhood: whenever his parents would go out, Alastor was there to watch him. However, he would just stay in his room the whole time because there was something about Alastor that Blitz didn’t like. There was even sometimes Blitz’s father would invite Alastor to his home to spend time and do some experimenting. He hasn't seen him since he got older and realized he blocked that memory all those years.
Blitz - “It’s you. You’re my dad’s friend.”
Alastor - “Correct my dear Bradley. I must say have grown to look Exactly like your father.”
Blitz - “First of all, don't call me Bradley! I prefer to be called Blitz.”
Alastor - “Hmm…Sorry. Bradley fits you more than Blitz. Blitz sounds too much like a dance move.”
Blitz - *annoyed* “Second, why are you even at the hotel?”
Alastor - “Why to help the princess and myself of course! I've lacked inspiration for decades. My work became mundane, lacking focus, aimless! I've come to crave a new form of entertainment! Hahaha!”
Blitz - “But I don’t get how working here will help you.”
Alastor - “Consider it an investment in ongoing entertainment for me! I want to watch the scum of the world struggle to climb up the hill of betterment only to repeatedly trip and tumble down to the fiery pit of failure!”
Blitz - *creeped out* “Right…But I’m not going to let you hurt my baby sister or anybody else in this hotel.”
Alastor - “Oh relax my dear boy. If I wanted to hurt anybody here, I would have done so already. But I didn’t. As for your baby sister, I’ll have you know that I don’t hurt children. Unless they are acting naughty then that’s a different story.”
Blitz - *sighs* “Fine. Just don’t do anything to me and Sophie.”
Alastor - “Oh don’t worry I’m not. But Charlie might.”
Blitz - *confused* “What are you talking about?”
Alastor - “Well Charlie is the type of person that would do anything to reach her goals. I do respect that, but I get the feeling you and your dear sister would ruin that for her.”
Blitz - *scoff* “Whatever. Why should I trust anything you say?”
Alastor - “Because my dear Bradley. I don’t lie.”
Blitz - *scoff* “You make me sick to my stomach.”
Blitz leaves to go back to his room. He wonders why his own Dad would befriend somebody like Alastor. But one thing for sure, family friend or not, he will never trust Alastor.
()()()()()()()()()()
Blitz was in his room laying down in his new bed. He did like how nice and soft it was since it had been a while since he had his own bed. Whenever he and Sophie moved around, he would have his own bed, but there are sometimes he would have to sleep on a couch or even a sleeping bag. He will always have Sophie haven her own room and bed because she deserves better. He felt like it was always his job to make Sophie comfortable whenever he can.
Blitz was having some strange feelings about these kind of people in the hotel. He barley trusted anyway, but with Charlie and Vaggie they were different. Charlie was actually sweet and kind and even though Vaggie can be a bit temperamental, she wasn’t bad either. They also seem very protective of not only of each other, but other people as well. Angel can annoy the hell of him but can’t help how there are sometimes that Angel can be sweet toward him and help him out with things and being nice to Sophie. Even the weird people like Niffty and Husk weren’t so bad either. The only one he doesn’t trust is Alastor but other than him, Blitz realize maybe things won’t be as bad. Then he heard a knock on the door.
Blitz - “Come in.”
Then it was Charlie and Vaggie coming in. Charlie was holding a clipboard.
Charlie - “Hey Blitz! Just wanted to see how you were doing.”
Blitz - “I’m doing fine. Thank you.”
Vaggie - “We just wanted to ask you a couple of questions about yourself.”
Blitz - “Like what?”
Charlie - “Do you have any special ability and regular ones?”
Blitz - “Well, I can cook, I know how to do boxing, and I can do magic like witchcraft.”
Vaggie - “Do you have any hobbies?”
Blitz - “Cooking and boxing.”
Charlie - “Any jobs?”
Blitz - “I’m a waiter at some restaurants. I will sometimes have to take Sophie if I work late. I don’t trust her leaving her alone with a babysitter.”
Charlie - *touched* “Aw that is sweet. But if you want that now you are living here, we can watch Sophie when you work.”
Blitz - “Are you sure?”
Charlie - “Of course! I would sometimes watch my baby cousin when her parents go out for business trips or vacation.”
Blitz - *smiles* “Thanks.”
Vaggie - “Did you ever killed anyone?”
Blitz - *eyes widen* “What?! No!”
Charlie - “Okay have you ever drank alcohol?”
Blitz - “No!”
Vaggie - “What about taking drugs?”
Blitz - “No! No! Why are you asking me these questions?!”
Charlie - “To help you cure your sins.”
Blitz - “My sins?”
Vaggie - *a bit confused* “Uhh yeah? The purpose of the hotel is to reform sinners.”
Charlie - *confused* “You are a sinner, right?”
Blitz - “No…Me and Sophie were born in Hell.”
Charlie and Vaggie's eyes widen in shock. They were Surprised that a bat demon like Blitz and Sophie were born in Hell. Some Hellborn demons would be either IMPs, hellhounds, Goetias, succubus, etc. They never met anyone who look like a regular demon yet is born in hell.
Charlie - “Okay. Thanks for the questions, Blitz.”
Both Charlie and Vaggie left Blitz’s room. Blitz found it very weird and then Sophie came into the room with Angel. Sophie had on a new pretty pink dress, had some light eye shadow, some blush, and lip gloss and mascara on.
Sophie - “Look Blitzy! Angel gave me a new makeover! Don’t I look pretty?”
Blitz - *smiles* “Yes Sophie you look very pretty.”
Angel - *smirks* “Well she had to learn from the best. I can make anybody look hot and beautiful like me.”
Blitz - “Well you did a good job.”
Sophie - “I wanna show it to everybody!”
Sophie happily giggled and left the room. Angels walk up to Blitz and said:
Angel - “Ya look a little down in the dumps. What’s up?”
Blitz - “Mm…Charlie and Vaggie ask some questions.”
Angel - *groans* “Is this about the drug cookies, I kept telling those broads I was just holding them for a friend!”
Blitz - “No it’s not that. They were asking me questions about me if I ever took drugs and drinking.”
Angel - “Well have ya?”
Blitz - “No. I don’t do that stuff because I have to take care of my sister.”
Angel - “But what about ya Ma and Pops? Can’t they take care of her?”
Blitz - *sad* “Angel…Sophie and I…Lost our parents 4 years ago.”
Angel - *soften* “Oh…I’m sorry.”
Blitz - “It’s okay. It is not easy for me to talk about. But I made a vow to always protect Sophie and find a stable home for us. That’s why I’m always working so hard and staying away from things like drugs and alcohol because I don’t want to end up into a horrible person that isn’t able to take care of his own sister.”
Angel - “When I met you, I didn’t think you were a horrible person. I actually thought you were sweet, cool and even sexy.”
Blitz - *blushes* “Oh. Thanks…I think you’re really sweet too. Especially how you are with my sister.”
Angel - “I have a soft spot for kids. And your sister is so sweet and adorable.”
Blitz - “Thanks Angel. But I’m worry that me and Sophie won’t be able to stay here due to not being sinners.”
Angel - “I’m pretty sure if you talk to these broads, they let ya. I mean Charlie isn’t the type that throws people out. Ya know how many times her bitch of a girlfriend wanted to throw me out for “breaking rules”, but Princess insisted I stay?”
Blitz - “Really? I guess also to in a weird way I was afraid what Alastor said to me about not staying her.”
Angel - *rolled his eyes* “Oh please what the fuck do Smiley McGee knows? He doesn’t even know what the fuck a BJ is! He thought it was some “musical gentleman”. You shouldn’t listen to him; he just likes to play tricks on people. Sure I love to play tricks, but not the way he does it.”
Blitz - *smiles* “Yeah you're right. I’ll go talk to them.”
Angel - *flirty* “And maybe later on, we can hang out more Blitzy Que.”
Blitz’s eyes widened and he blushed in embarrassment. His left eye twitched and he punched Angel in the face. Angel fell on the ground, and he was staring at the ceiling as his eyes were spinning.
Blitz - “Don't call me that stupid nickname you idiot!”
Angel - *got up and chuckles* “Sorry. That nickname is just cute on you.”
Blitz rolled his eyes as he got up to go to talk to Charlie and Vaggie. He kept walking down the hall hoping to find their office or something to talk to them. He can’t help but think what if Alastor was right, but then remember Angel saying Alastor like to play tricks on people. Then he saw a sign that said: “Charlie’s office” and just when Blitz was about to knock on the door, he heard Vaggie and Charlie talking.
Charlie - “Man this a tough choice Vaggie.”
Vaggie - “I know it is Hun. But this hotel is for sinners.”
Charlie - “Yeah I know…It still Surprised how they are Hellborn demons…But isn’t right.”
Vaggie - “But what else can we do?”
Blitz eyes widen in shock. He felt like his chest was hurting and heart was shattering into pieces. Charlie and Vaggie was gonna throw him and Sophie out on the street? Blitz felt like Alastor was right the whole time about Charlie not wanting him in the hotel. Some tears fell from his eyes because for once he thought he finally found a stable home for him and Sophie, but it wasn’t. It was just another broke promise. He saw the door open, and Sophie was there.
Charlie - *smiles* “Oh hello Sophie! What brings you here?
Before Sophie could say anything, Blitz took Sophie by the hand.
Blitz - *mad* “Come on, Sophie. We're leaving.”
Sophie - *confused* “But.... But why? I don't wanna go.”
Blitz - *turned over to his sister with glare* “Sophie, we can find other places to live. So, don't try to argue!
Sophie got silent with tears forming in eyes. Blitz rarely yelled at her whenever he got angry or if she did something really bad. Sophie glanced at Charlie and Vaggie before walking off with her brother while quietly whimpering. Charlie and Vaggie were shocked and confused on Blitz new behavior and Charlie ran up to him.
Charlie - “Blitz! Where are you going?”
Blitz - “Anywhere but here! *snaps his fingers and he and Sophie got packed suitcases* since we aren’t welcome here!”
Charlie - *shocked* “W-What?! But Blitz-“
Blitz - “NO! You can forget about us being in this hotel EVER AGAIN!”
Blitz grabbed Sophie in one hand, and he flew out the hotel by an open window. Angel ran and saw Blitz with Sophie flying away.
Angel - “What the fuck happened here?!”
Vaggie - “I don’t know! Charlie and I were talking one minute, the next Blitz got angry and left!”
Angel - “What were you guys talking about?”
Charlie - “About them staying here…”
Angel - *shocked* “Where you…Gonna throw them out?!”
Charlie - “No! No! I mean before Vaggie, and I talk about it but-“
Angel - “What?! Just because they aren’t sinners they can’t stay here?!”
Vaggie - “Hey! You’re forgetting that this hotel is to redeem sinners!”
Angel - “And ya forgetting too that Little Miss Sunshine wanted to help “her people”. How is kicking them out is fucking helpful?! She kept Alastor here and he’s some scary overlord or some shit. You had no idea what Blitzy and his baby sister went through.”
Charlie - “He told you?”
Angel - “Yeah…They don’t have parents anymore. They have trouble finding some new homes.”
Charlie - *shocked and sad* “Oh poor Blitz and Sophie…”
Vaggie - *somber* “I never realized that…”
Angel - “Well now ya do.”
Charlie - “But Angel, we never plan to kick them out. After Vaggie and I talk about it, we realize if we did that, we be hypocrites because this hotel is supposed to help demons with their problems. Blitz and Sophie’s problems are valid and therefore have the right to stay at the hotel.”
Angel - “Then why didn’t you tell him that?”
Vaggie - “Well we were going too, but Blitz must have overheard our first part of the conversation. We have to get them back.”
Angel - “I’ll get them back.”
Charlie - “But Angel, you don’t know where they went.”
Angel - “Oh please. I know this fucking city from the back of my hand. I can find the sexy bat demon.”

Blitz was flying with Sophie in one arm and his suitcase in the other arm. A part of him felt guilty for leaving and yelling at Charlie. But another part of him is telling him that it’s just a hotel. There are plenty of other places he and Sophie can live in. However, he noticed that Sophie was looking sad while being carried. Fearing something is wrong, he decided to land in the middle of the city.
Blitz - *concerned* “You okay Baby Girl?”
Sophie - *sad* “No…I want to go back to the Hotel Blitzy! We were happy there!”
Blitz - “Sophie…It’s just a hotel. We can find other places to live.”
Sophie - “But the people there are really nice. I like them a lot and…I don’t really talk to people.”
Blitz - *sighs* “Sophie listen *kneel down to her height and put his hands on her shoulder* I know you like the hotel and the people but…sometimes people who seem nice aren’t nice at all. And the hotel well…We just don’t fit in. Do you understand?”
Sophie - “I guess…”
Blitz - “Don't worry Sophie, there’s always other places we can live in.”
Then all of a sudden, they heard some crashes and gunshots. Blitz held on to Sophie tightly and saw what was shooting: it was a group of demon mob sharks. Blitz can tell they don’t look friendly and actually look menacing. Blitz held on to Sophie tightly as she whimpers in fear.
Shark mob 1 - *smirks* “Well well. I see somebody doesn’t know the laws.”
Blitz - “Laws? What laws?”
Shark 2 - “Anybody who isn’t a mob shark like us isn’t fucking allowed! So take your shit and leave!”
Blitz - *mad* “Excuse me? I have every right to be here.”
Shark 3 - “Huh. I thought bats have good hearing. We said: GET THE FUCK OUT!”
Blitz - “No! I’m not taking any orders from talking sushi.”
Shark boss - “Alright. Guess we have to do this the hard way. Boys!”
They all took out their guns and aimed it at Blitz and Sophie. Sophie had tears in her eyes and hugged her big brother tightly. Blitz however, had a determined look on his face and holding his baby sister tightly. He’s not going to let some sharks tell him what to do and harm his sister. Before Blitz can do anything, one of the Mob Shark got shot and he fell on the ground.
“You better stay away of them you fucking dickheads!”
Confused, Blitz turned around and his eyes widened in surprise. Blitz saw Angel in the alley away with his Tommy gun and a serious glare. Blitz was rather Surprised that Angel came back but Sophie was happy to see Angel again.
Sophie - “Angel! You’re back!”
Mob Shark - *smirks* “Well, it looks like the Lanky Filly is back.”
Angel - “That's right baby. And I don’t appreciate you coming here acting like ya fucking own the join. Reality, this is my bestie’s turf.”
Mob Shark - “In reality, I think you should be squashed!”
The Mob Shark and his crew began to shoot at Angel. But thanks to being a jumping spider, Angel was able to jump at incredibly high places and summon extra arms if he needed too. Blitz was amazed at how well Angel was doing but realized that there were too many sharks for Angel to handle. Deciding to help Angel, Blitz uses his magic to put Sophie in a protective bubble shield.
Blitz - “Don't worry Sophie. I’m gonna help Angel. This will keep you safe!”
Sophie nodded and did a thumbs up. This wasn’t the first time this happened. Sometimes when there is a dangerous turf war or something, Blitz would normally just have him, and Sophie fly away. But if it’s one of those fights that Blitz has to fight back, he always puts Sophie in a magic bubble, so she doesn’t get hurt. Then Blitz began to use his boxing moves to beat up the shark mobs while Angel kept shooting at them. They were doing well since some of them were unconscious and the others ran away in fear. As Blitz was beating up one of the sharks, Angel noticed the big boss was going to shoot Blitz.
Angel - “Blitz! Look out!”
Blitz heard Angel call out his name but saw the boss smirking and shot at him. But to Blitz’s horror and surprised, Angel jumped in front of Blitz and was shot in the arm. Angel yelled in pain and held his top left arm tightly. Angel fell on the ground still holding his arm in pain.
Blitz - “Angel!!”
Shark Boss - *chuckling* “Time to wash the spider out with bullets!”
Just when the shark boss can pull the trigger, something wasn’t right. He looked down and saw a magical blue glow of witchcraft around his arms and the gun. He turned around and saw Blitz whose eyes turned red and had a calm yet deadly glare. Suddenly, Blitz levitated the Shark boss into the air and straight into a garbage can. Now that it's safe, Blitz freed Sophie from the bubble and they both ran to Angel who was slowly getting up.
Sophie - *worried* “You okay Angel?”
Angel - *moans* “Yeah Sophie…Just got a big boo boo. I’ll be okay.”
Blitz - “Here let me help.”
Blitz close his eyes, put his hand on Angel’s shot wound, and not only began to glow, but Blitz also began to say some magic spells. Angel was a bit confused, but then noticed that the pain was going away, and the bullet was coming out of him unpainfully. Then after the wound was out, it began to close, and his arm was normal and no longer hurt. Then Blitz stop and opened his eyes.
Blitz - *smiles* “There. All done.”
Angel - *smiles and blushes* “Thanks babe. Can you come back to the hotel please? We need to talk.”
Blitz - *sighs* “Alright. You did save my life. I pretty much owe you one.”
Angel - “Of course there are other ways like-“
Angel's mouth was quickly covered up by Blitz’s mouth.
Blitz - *annoyed* “Not in front of Sophie!”

Charlie and Vaggie were waiting in the lobby looking worried. The door opened and it was Angel, Blitz and Sophie. Charlie was relieved that they made it back safe and sound.
Charlie - *relieved* “Oh thank goodness you guys are okay!”
Angel - “If ya called a turf war battle okay.”
Vaggie - *annoyed* “Where are you in another turf war again?”
Angel - “Hey! I was getting and rescuing Blitz and Sophie from fucking mob sharks! Isn’t that a “redeeming quality” saving people?”
Vaggie - *growls* “Bastardo de puta!”
Blitz - “Don't worry Vaggie. Angel and I had a little trouble with some shark mobs.”
Sophie - “But Angel save Blitzy, and Blitzy help Angel’s boo boo get better!”
Blitz - *chuckles* “Yeah I did.”
Charlie - “Well I’m glad you’re okay. But we need to talk about what happened. Blitz, Vaggie and I weren’t going to kick you and Sophie out.”
Blitz - *surprised* “You weren't?”
Charlie - “No. After talking about it with Vaggie, we realize that despite you and Sophie being Hellborn, you guys have every right to be here. Turning you guys away, especially losing your parents would make us look like monsters.”
Blitz - “Yeah I- *realize something* how did you know?”
Vaggie - “Angel told us that you and Sophie lost your parents.”
Blitz - *sighs* “It’s true. Sophie and I lost our parents 4 years ago to a serial killer. Ever since then, I've been working my butt off to make sure Sophie and I had a stable home. Charlie, I’m so sorry for leaving and assuming you were gonna kick out me and Sophie. It just happened to us so many times. We would basically have to stay for a few months until something bad happens like higher rent, the building gets sold or burnt down or even gets too dangerous.”
Charlie - “I understand Blitz. I realize something too that my hotel isn’t just to redeem sinners, but to help others like you.”
Blitz - *smiles* “Thank you Charlie.”
Vaggie - “And we also have a surprised.”
Charlie - *squealing* “Oh yes! We did it for you and Sophie.”
They led them upstairs and both Charlie and Vaggie opened the door to Blitz and Sophie’s room. Blitz and Sophie’s eyes widen in surprise. Their room was freshly painted and had more stuff in there. Blitz’s room was painted purple, blue and black. The bed was fixed up with some blankets that were red and white. There was a tv, radio, a punching bag, dumb bells, a desk, lamp, even a couple of books. Sophie’s room was pink and purple, her bed was also fix up with some fluffy pillows, a blanket that was blue with pink polka dots. There was a toy chest, a little easel, a little round table with some chairs, a little tv, a tea set, a toy box, and a radio. There was even a yellow and pink rug on the floor as well. Sophie squealed and ran into her room.
Sophie - “This is so amazing! I love it here!”
Charlie - “You can actually thank Angel for that. It was his idea.”
Blitz - *surprised* “Really?”
Angel - “Yeah I figure you didn’t want ya rooms to be boring as fuck like Vaggie.”
Vaggie - *angry* “Hey!”
Angel - “So I convince the gals to give your rooms a makeover.”
Blitz - *touched* “Wow…I-I don’t know what to say.”
Vaggie - “If you want to leave that's your choice.”
Charlie - “But we really want you and Sophie to stay. You guys belong here.”
Blitz had a strange feeling in chest. He hasn't felt it in a long time since losing his parents. He realized it was love and trust. He can see how despite being different, weird, and even a bit annoying, the people at the hotel truly do care about him and Sophie. Blitz looked at Sophie with a happy look on her face.
Blitz - *smiles* “We’re staying!”
Charlie and Sophie cheered and gave Blitz a big hug. Blitz was a bit Surprised since he only hugged his sister and not other people. Even Angel joined the group hug which felt really nice. Then Charlie said:
Charlie - “Okay we should let them settle into their new rooms. In the meantime, we should get ready for dinner.”
Angel - “Hopefully it’s something good for once.”
Blitz rolled his eyes yet smiled at Angel’s antics. He began to put away his clothes and once again looked around his new room. He was so touched that The Princess of Hell herself had done this just for him. There were no tricks, no blackmail, nothing. It was out of pure goodness. For once, he was happy that he and Sophie finally got their happily ever after they had been craving for so long. Not only does he finally have a stable home, but something he never thought he would have; friends who care about him and his sister.
After fixing up his room, he took out a very important picture of his parents and said:
Blitz - “I did its Mom and Dad. I finally found a home for me and Sophie. But I still swear to keep Sophie safe no matter what. That’s a promise I’ll never break.”
Charlie - “Dinner!”
Sophie - “Oh yummy! *walk out of her room and see Blitz* Are you coming Blitzy?”
Blitz - *smiles* “Don’t worry I’m coming.”
Blitz put the picture on his nightstand and join his sister and new friends for some dinner. After dinner, it was late at night and Blitz saw Sophie already in her pajamas asleep and he smiled. She always looks so cute when she’s asleep. He noticed her stuffed dog Fluffle on the floor. He quietly went inside Sophie’s room and pick up Fluffles and put it under her arm. Blitz gently rubs Sophie’s hair and said:
Blitz - “Goodnight Sophie. I love you.”
He kisses her head and left the room. He then went to his room, changed into his pajamas, and went to bed. Before he went to bed, he looks at the picture of his parents one last time and fell asleep. This time, he slept peacefully now knowing he and Sophie are going to have a better life and future in the Hazbin Hotel.
Hope you like it!
