The moon was almost directly above, but the trees were so thick it hardly made a difference on visibility. The lack of sight only seemed to magnify the sounds, so that snapped twigs sounded like broken bones and footsteps rang heavy with danger.

     The girl who's name meant sun, on night shift. Ironic.

Flashlight clenched between teeth, Styler swinging in its holster, she squinted through the dark, carefully scaling the cliff wall. She thought she heard what sounded like human activity from up there; maybe someone was in trouble. After all, she couldn't think of any good reason someone would be out here willingly at this time.

Making it over the edge, she took the flashlight from her mouth, quickly wiping it on her shorts, and cast the beam in front of her, scanning for the origin of the noise. Sure enough, a young Trainer was up ahead, facing away. Solana relaxed a bit, stepping forward, her right hand resting on her Styler's handle.

     "Hey, what are you doing out at this time? It's dangerous out here, you know."
