So this is 30 🎉🎂❕ Spending one of the best weeks of my life with the soul tribe in #MountShasta, then Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and back to San Diego. 🤗 I am so grateful to be surrounded by the best friends I could ever ask for. Grateful to have people who care enough about me to travel well over 3,000 miles by plane and then another 1,000 miles by car just to spend a few days with me for my birthday. I am fucking blessed and #BlissedTheFuckOut. Every day I am grateful for my health. My body and I have come a long way from me hating it for not doing what it used to be able to. Instead I now thank my body for lasting as long as it has, for what I’ve put it through throughout the years. Thank you body for giving me the flare-free days, living with an #immunedeficiency is a constant struggle (especially in a pandemic) so every single day is genuinely a win. Every day I miss my son, Knox, more than the last. I wish he was with me, but I know we will be together again soon. I don’t need to go into how horrible my last year has been; we’ve all had a rough year in our own way - no need to compare notes; but what this year has personally shown me is we need to do is fucking love and fucking live - every single fucking day like it’s our last. Because it could be, one way or another. Absorb the beauty of your surroundings, love and respect the people who you choose to have around you, who choose to have you around them.
