Hezbollah’s leader Nasrallah eliminated
As some of you are already aware, I fully stand with Israel which is very connected with my uncompromising faith in the Lord. I keep on praying to Him for Israel to overwhelm its enemies, rescue the hostages and recover from the effects of the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks committed by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas which is sponsored by terrorist state Iran. I can assure all of you…

The New York Times is a fucking joke of a paper. Recently I literally cannot look at a headline without feeling utterly hopeless at the state of the world… because of the state of journalism. It’s honestly heinous, and quite frankly terrifying.
“Israeli Rabbi who Disappeared is Found Dead”
No. Try, “Rabbi was KIDNAPPED and MURDERED in the UAE by TERRORISTS.”
It’s genuinely not controversial to tell the truth. He did not “disappear” — he was kidnapped. By terrorists. He was not “found dead” — he was fucking murdered for being a Jew. Call it like it is or don’t call it at all.
Genuinely insane and disgusting that the nyt can claim to have journalistic integrity after this past year. When it comes to anything Jewish or Israeli, this isn’t an outlier of a headline; it’s the fucking rule.

Please stop drawing Spock and other Vulcans green. Yes Vulcans have green blood but that would not turn them bright green. It is not a cute stylistic choice it’s antisemitic

yall if eden golan wins eurovision i will cry it will be such a fucking triumph and victory for the Jewish community worldwide like there is no better embodiment of the Jewish spirit than “my existence made people angry and they called for my failure and suffering and death and then I won”

I want to thank you for being so open with your conversion process and thoughts. I've wanted to convert for years, but I don't live in a state that I can do that without a major move. I'm doing my best to start learning by following jewish people and learning online as much as I can. I'm trying to gain the beginnings of an understanding of judaism and if it's right for me. The more I learn, the more i want to learn. It's genuinely so joyful for me to follow you and learn more from you. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for reaching out and being here... I'm truly hoping for the best for you, that you might one day be in the spot to actively work toward whatever you want. In the meantime, you are absolutely welcome here and we can celebrate and love judaism together🩵

idk if this has any merit to it so correct me if i’ve got the wrong idea but a thing i’ve been thinking lately is that the biblical dichotomy between jew and gentile (which new testament scripture teaches is no more) is sort of reborn in the modern dichotomy between like.,,, cradle catholic and random atheist/agnostic
point being, God will reach out to everyone. even those who aren’t doing all the little traditional rituals right, even those who don’t know what they’re doing, even those who just walked in out of nowhere. so the former need to remember to have humility and compassion for others who are trying their best to seek truth.
this is not to say the former are doing anything wrong by going through all those motions- of course not! and of course those motions aren’t insignificant; they’ve got so much history and tradition behind them. but ultimately they aren’t what save us. the foreign gentile who just showed up one day is baptized and saved. the deathbed convert is baptized and saved. funny how that is
the devout jewish people of the scriptures and the modern day hardcore tradcaths are neither better nor worse than other people- they are the people fortunate enough to be born in the ‘right’ environment, so encountering Christ and being saved will be much easier for them. but this also means they have a responsibility to do more.
and if they go haywire in the way they behave the consequences will be so much worse because of what they’re supposed to be representing (and i’m sure we all know that biblically the jewish people have caused lots of their own problems and presently. well. a lot of catholics Suck™️. we are all that person sometimes. often. usually)

[Chagall :: Blessing]
* * * *
There is an old Jewish legend that in any point of history, there are 36 pure souls on whom the fate of the world depends, and they don't know who they are. These 36 people hold up and support the world just as the foundations of a building support it. It’s likely these are unknown and unsung people, who do extraordinary things that go unnoticed. There are always 36 good people. Who save the world. One of them could be you. [Jim Palmer]

thank you to everyone who gave me advice on preparing for my first ever Tisha b’av service last night! I was surprisingly well prepared and it was a beautiful service
#kazoo noises#Conversion tag#Jumblr#i did spend a lot of it worried about the fringe on my Stevie nicks poncho not catching fire on the candle and realizing I have no#way to cope with older transliterations of Hebrew (whoops) but it was a very beautiful service and my friend#Henry who got me the scroll for my mezuzah gave me a lift home and we spent the entire time talking about my journey to conversion#As well as my family and the people we were remembering#My inter generational friends are so important to me man#Something about hanging out with Jewish people who got scads of grandkids already. Just makes ya feel complete and at peace with#Stuff ya know. Like man. We’ve been here for so long. We’ve been through so much and regrettably we will be through more. But we’re here#We’re together. We’re joking about like the only person under the age of 25 at service and his stumbling through blessings#(Also bc despite only saying them for a year the instinctual call and response is already set in)#I was thankfully not the only person saying the entire Kaddish at service. A lady from the other congregation also did it and Henry AND#The rabbi caught me#Anyway. If you interacted with my post last night: thank you. Your community has been so wonderful and it’s such a privilege that I’m#Allowed to work towards joining you all#Sorry for being mad sappy on main but like. I’ve had an incredibly crazy two years and conversion has probably been the only thing keeping#Me fully tethered onto the earth and not climbing the walls

Jacob to Jeshurun Name Change: Liar to Blessed One Isaiah 44
Isaiah 44: He was born Jacob but the Lord saw him as Jeshurun. Jacob To Jeshurun is a little-known name change found in the scriptures. In Isaiah forty-four, verse two, we see that Isaiah uses the name Jeshurun rather than Jacob. The prophet used this rarely-seen name for the biblical patriarch Jacob. If you’re like me, or most people, you skip past the name when you read it in the text. But…
