hi! honestly i don’t know. i think because i haven’t seen pynch that much in the books i don’t really know that much of their ship dynamic (if that makes sense) so i gotta go with blue and gansey. doesn’t hurt that i’m in love with both of them (blue and gansey lmao yeah im a disaster bi what of it)

Currently reading The Raven Boys and fuck Blue and Adam are cute together and I wanna ship them but at the same time I know they won't be canon and that the canon ships are even better,, but like- they are so adorable?

please just give me blansey and pynch so I can forget about whatever Blue's and Adam's shipping name is.

Obviously I love all those posts about Adam’s new college friends trying to figure out & then being dazzled and confused by his boyfriend, Ronan “Loud Car EDM Douchebag/Howard Hughes Bird Weirdo/Single Dad Farmer” Lynch. But I am ALSO very interested in Gansey’s students trying to figure out HIS relaysh status. Clearly they are all 100% Raiders of the Lost Ark at Dr. Gansey at all times.

Rumor gets around that April Wiezchowski cornered him during office hours and, after a borderline-slapstick attempt to extricate himself without embarrassing anybody, he had to inform her gently but firmly that he was very flattered but that he was not interested in dating current or former students and also he had a girlfriend. Everyone is like WHO. WHO IS THIS MYSTERY GIRLFRIEND. Surely Dr. “Boat Shoes” Gansey must be dating some tidy, scary Kate Bosworth blonde with a diamond tennis bracelet and a name like Tinsley or Sloane. She probably only wears cashmere and cashmere blends. She’s probably a Congresswoman or the heiress to a megachurch fortune.

Imagine the commotion on campus when a group of students spots Dr. Gansey eating pizza and holding hands with a five-foot-nothing eco-hipster in a ripped undershirt, hand-knit arm warmers and a necklace made of safety pins. She has a tattoo on the back of her neck and a look around the mouth and shoulders that suggests she doesn’t take a lot of shit. “Maybe she’s just a friend from the Envi department?” one of them suggests hopefully. “He just kissed SAUCE off her LIP!!!” another one whisper-shrieks. 

They all peer at him, not very covertly, from behind their menus. Gansey would usually be hyperconscious about the presence of students and how he behaves in front of them, but he doesn’t even notice: Blue has been in Guyana for three months and he barely heard from her except when she could get on the sat phone for 5 minutes, and now he finally gets to touch her and talk to her and hear her laugh again. It has never occurred to any of the students that Dr. Gansey could be MORE handsome than he usually is, but apparently he can when he is aglow with warm quiet happiness, which is FRANKLY AGONIZING.

Sooooooo ... I finished The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. And I was pleasantly surprised by much I liked it. I recommend it, great book. BLANSEY FTW. {Blue x Gansey} I need Dream Thieves NOW.
