I was tagged by the lovely belovedoldhollywood :)
Rule 1: Always post the rules. Rule 2: Answer the questions of the person who tagged you and write 11 new ones. Rule 3: Tag 11 new people and link them to the post. Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them.
belovedoldhollywood's questions:
1) Imagine you get the chance to meet your favourite OH star. What’s your first reaction? I would immediately think: ''How on earth do I not screw this up?'' Haha. I would try my best. 2) Do you still remember the movie that made you interested in OH? Which one was it? Of course- it was 'A Streetcar Named Desire' :) 3) Your OTP from an old movie? Oh gosh... it's either Stanley and Stella from Streetcar, or Terry and Edie from 'On the Waterfront'. Both are just wonderful. 4) Favourite movie from the year 1939? Well... GWTW is so epic but I have to go with 'Dark Victory' :) 5) Do you ship yourself with an old Hollywood actors/actress? :p Yes. With James Cagney :) 6) Who is your favourite OH star who is also still alive? (I wonder if anybody will answer with Mickey Rooney xD) Lauren Bacall, though I really really really love Kirk Douglas too!! :) (Ironically they are great friends and have known each other forever, Lauren also helped him get into Hollywood.:) ) 7) Does it make you angry too when people around your age say that old movies are boring? Yes, but I think it's their loss, and what a loss indeed. 8) Do some of your grandparents have some interesting OH-stories to tell? :3 Sadly no, they were always far away from that culture, especially since here the Soviet Union didn't let any culture from the west be known. But one of my friends' grandmother somehow knew about Clark Gable and loved him! :) 9) Do you own any autograph from a classic movie actor/actress? Yes, I own an autograph of Kim Hunter, which I cherish very much. :) 10) Do my questions annoy you? xD Nope, they're very good. :)
11) Did you get anything OH-related for christmas? :) Some things are ordered and they'll hopefully arrive soon :)
My questions: 1) Most overrated actor/actress from the 50s? 2) Most tragic death of all the Old Hollywood actors/actresses? 3) What classic film could you watch a million times and it still wouldn't get old? 4) What actor/actress comes to your mind that you would call a performer rather than a real actor? 5) Favorite pre-code film? :) 6) Favorite classic film actor who was named James? :) 7) Actor/actress who deserves a good biography? 8) Favorite silent film? :) 9) Has any classic film had a really big impact on your life? If so, which one? 10) Who do you think is the best director today? 11) Which film, in your opinion, from the 20th century could never, ever be done today? I'm tagging: simmonsing, 20th-century-darling, blanchefordubois, marilynmonroe1980, leilahyams, joyous2607, cathy-thangg, jdjoshvintage, iheartclassichollywood, oldhollywoodlovingteen, pleaseletyourselfgo

Rule 3: Tag 11 new people and link them to the post
Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them
Favorite Christmas/Holiday movie? Miracle on 34th Street
Actors/Actresses that you wish had worked together? In a film, Danny Kaye and Laurence Olivier. Or Olivia and Joan, I mean who wouldn't want to have seen that.
Favorite Movie Trivia? I really love how Hitchcock would appear at least once in every one of his films.
If you have money worth 1 million, what will you do with it? Get through college, and travel the world in later years. I'd save a good bit of it; I'd like to know I'd have something behind me as well.
Overrated Actors/Actresses? Jennifer Lawrence. Sure, she's an okay actress and down to earth and jokes around a lot, but it seems she jokes around too much and people think that she hung the moon. (This is my personal opinion, I respect everyone else's as well!) And...Leonardo DiCaprio. He's all right, too, but..I'll stop there.
Most underrated film? A Damsel in Distress and St. Martin's Lane!
First thing that you noticed in a person? Oh goodness, it's three things actually. Their smile, eyes, and hands.
If you could switch life with a person for one day, who will it be and why? Emma Watson. She's so down-to-earth, and having studied at Brown (which is amazing) and how well her friends handle her fame seems all too awesome.
8 people dead or alive that you want to have dinner with? Julie Andrews, Elizabeth Taylor, Danny Kaye, Olivia de Havilland, Carol Burnett, Lady Gaga (shut up, she's amazing), Ida Lupino, Joan Fontaine.
Last Movie You watched? A Damsel in Distress, actually.
One thing that most people don’t know about you? My close family are really the only ones that know about my love for classic Hollywood. It's changed me so much, in a good way, and helped me in numerous ways. Also, I can make the Perry the Platypus noise!
Favorite thing about Queen Elizabeth II? Her outfits. She is fabulous.
Favorite Shade of Lipstick? I like the midway between pink and red. I don't necessarily have a specific shade.
Worst vacation you have ever taken? It was a family trip to the mountains during the winter. We stayed in a cabin and 2 days in all of the children got terribly sick and we all stayed in and couldn't do anything on top of being snowed in for awhile and not being able to go anywhere at all.
Favorite Band? Paramore.
If you were in prison for life, would you ever consider breaking out? Of course I would consider it, who wouldn't! But actually breaking out would be another thing.
Have you ever cheated on a math test? Haha, yes.
OTP/NOTP - Olivia and Errol OTP4ever.
What is your opinion on early/mid 20th century insane asylums? They didn't really know things, if you get what I mean. People just weren't..aware. Watch "The Snake Pit".
Favorite Play? Anything Goes
Best song pre 1970? the Dreamer - Dinah Shore :)
What is your favorite quote? "If you always do what interests you, at least one person is pleased." - Katharine Hepburn
My Questions:
If someone asked you for a random piece of advice, what would you say?
What's one of your favorite habits?
Who is your idol and why?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
What's your favorite joke?
If you could go back in time, who would you meet?
What do you do for fun?
What's your favorite book?
What's your all-time favorite movie?
Do you enjoy dressing up or staying casual?
Where do you enjoy vacations to?
