Working on chapter 17 of Blackthorn and I don't think I've ever shown/explained how I get the clothing ideas. If you were wondering...

I go to pinterest and look at a bunch of different outfits. Sometimes I just describe the whole outfit or I will mix and match. If I want to change the colors, I use canva's color palettes and just play around to I find something I like. Right now, I am turning this (the fabric/colors)

into this...

The coloring if different and I have to blend fabrics in my mind to create the perfect look. Plus the Princess isn't wearing the gele (head wrap) or the iborun (shoulder scarf). Her hair will be in an updo with a "commoner" headscarf and a hairstick...which I still have to create in my mind as well.

The ideas are never ending over here and I'm losing my mind. You're welcome 😅

I think there should be a scene in twp where Emma, Kit, and Ash all stand in a room together and cause Julian, Ty, and Dru to simultaneously come to the horrifying realisation that they all have the same type (blonde. Jace Herondale adjacent.)

people need to start talking about Julian Blackthorn more because he’s awesome, he raised a family at 12 while running an institute with no experience, no help and no one knew for 5 years, he killed his father to protect his siblings, he went into faerie to get Mark back, he united downworlders and nephilim in order to fight the cohort, he’s very clever and his plans always work, he turned into a true nephilim and SURVIVED he’s one of my favorite characters and we NEED to talk bout him more. that’s all😁

i don’t think some of ya’ll have grasped the fact that we will 100% be getting the “why did you leave?” angsty kitty scene… like imagine the yearning, the hurt, the feelings. oh that scene will be like no other.

I know CC keeps saying there's consequences for necromancy but I just can't imagine that Ty (& Kit) will be punished by the Clave. like they're going to get off completely scot-free as far as the law goes because what are Alec Lightwood and Diego Rosales gonna do about it 😭
