Hey gang!! I hope everyone is well. I'm postponing our Sunday night live yet another week (I'm exhausted).but here's a quick recap of what's happening around Steel Rose Forge: I got the Lake Fenton posts off to the powder coater after teaching Aidan how to weld (yep, that's my boy under the hood!!!} then we blasted off to Oscoda for a couple days to visit with the fam. we woke up sunday to this mighty oak laying on the porch! Quite a storm up there. hence the power was out so I wasn't able to go live from the lake(sad emoji) on a side note I tore up the disgusting hardwood floors in my house to find out there was nice Berber carpet under there!! (or maybe the other way around,lol). so Iv'e been busy tearing that up, learning along the way what a gajillion is. It's half of the number of staples they used to nail down the padding for the carpet to the hardwood!! I still owe our last winner a cowboy hat from a half dollar. I'm booked thru Thursday already, but hopefully I can get caught up for a LIVE next Sunday. also a couple drawings Holly has done for proposed railing in log home #2!! Checkout Julian, 9 years old, he knew right out of the gate what he wanted to make and GOT TO IT!!
