You know? this sounds like horrorangst fic about the maintianence clones on Kamino who don’t have names, hypothetically have numbers, somewhere in an inacessible database that nobody ever uses, and who, by the Force warping the shit out of the bottom levels of kamino as a direst result of all the horrible stuff happening upstairs, might wake up one shift to find out they don’t actually need to breathe anymore.

From there, things continue to happen and it becomes a struggle to conceal thier increasingly eldritch features from the Kaminoans and other clones, until such a point where concealment is both impossible and meaningless- They already can’t breathe and barely have blood anymore- what’re you gonna do? Kill me?

K’Ehleyr

put a fridged female character in my inbox and I’ll tell you how she lives

Klingons, even half Klingons, are born with redundant systems and while K’Ehleyr is never one to back down from a fight she’s smart. She knows when to play dead so she can live and get to see Alexander grow up, see the Klingon race learn, watch peace grow. Beverly’s there as soon as Worf calls and she’s in time and K’Ehleyr is a fighter and she opens her eyes a few days later to see Alexander sleeping by her side and smiles at her son though he can’t see it. (there’s more smiles in his life, more laughter, more trying to get Worf to join in on having fun)

She chooses to stay on the Enterprise, knowing that Alexander will want to know his father and Worf should have a chance to know his son and they’ll need her help if there’s more Klingon issues to come - and there will be problems to come. She shares drinks with Deanna and they talk about being children of two worlds and the struggles they’ve had. She makes first contact with Picard because she knows how to delegate in situations and what it calls for. She and Beverly team up at poker nights with sly smirks and they will get Riker to shave that beard.

When the Dominion wars start she goes to DS9, looking to help with peace or whatever way she can. She and Jadzia gang up on Worf just a little - just a lot- to tease him. She watches Alexander try to be a warrior and offers her own suggestions, softness is not a weakness and he shouldn’t be ashamed for trying. K’Ehleyr talks to the Founders and fights Jem’Hadar and does the job she fought so hard to live for to help the galaxy.

Fic Title: May the Universe Forget Us

70 years ago, the skies opened up over New York and a team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes fought with all they had to end the invasion. Then, their own creation turned against them, and an entire country was lost in the chaos. And then, again, the world fell when the Mad Titan reached the planet and their fights left the world asking for a relief, asking for peace, asking for quiet.

Their names are remembered forever: memorials have been built for for Anthony Stark, for Natasha Romanoff, for Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Sharon Carter, Clint Barton and for all those who have fought the wars against the invaders. The black marble wall stands, tall and unchallenged where the Triskelion once stood.

The skies have flickered again, a Convergence, like the one history books say flickered over Greenwich. The world looks at each other, wondering if they have learnt, if the remnants of the SHIELD will be able to hold back the forces they see. 

Crowds begin to call for the heirs. Pictures show up on newsfeeds, sudden interest in history and genealogy, as they try to find the children or grandchildren of those who protected the earth once before. Bruce Banner, unable to age, asks the crowds to leave the families alone, that it is not up to the granddaughters and grandsons to take up arms where their ancestors did. Thor Odinson crashes through the winds and storms and asks the respect be held for the blood of the Avengers.

Howard Stark Jr is the first to speak up. His legacy will not watch as Earth is attacked again, and soon enough, a new generation Iron Man appears in the news. His wife, the granddaughter of Justin Hammer, and Howard have worked together to make this a reality.

Seraphina Rogers, with the genes of her grandfather in her veins, picks up the SHIELD off the memorial in Washington DC, saying that she will stand where he grandfather cannot, as he is finally beginning to feel the effects of age and that he cannot stand for himself anymore.

Soon enough, a team stands together, but seems to be missing one. Stones are turned, homes searched, the internet and hackers work their ways to find the missing Avenger and his legacy.

When Francis Barton wakes up, to go and look after his father, Cooper Barton, he finds people he had promised never to associate with. The dangers would be too great. 

He finds not Hawkeye’s bow in his father’s armory, inherited from his father, but the gold and black garb his grandfather wore during the Mad Titan’s invasion of Earth and swears that he will do his legacy justice.

In Wakanda, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes watch as the world descends into chaos, asking where they are to lead their team. They are too old now, but the Universe will never forget them.
