Depression...

Anxiety...

...storms that live within all of us.

...and like with any natural occurring storm, we must learn grace and understanding for the fact that these storms need time to pass.

In nature, we often times admire storms and the terrifying, yet beautiful changes they bring...

We know we cannot stop them, so we learn to admire and love them...

...dancing in the rain..

...laying under the lightning stricken sky...

Maybe we can learn to love those raging storms within ourselves and others...

When we say we want to love ourselves and others through times of true growth and the sometimes terrifying and raging storms of change they bring...

Maybe we can have grace and peace with these internal storms...

...the same way we do with storms that occur out in nature...

When the rain falls within us, we can dance in it...

We can let it wash away our sorrows and quench new growth..

When the lightning strikes in the ones we love...

We can take a step back and admire how the lightning is actually lighting up their once dark skies and revealing things they could not yet see...

We cannot stop these natural storms that rage within us...

So...why not learn to love them?

Just Thinking: I just feel we're in this reoccurring pattern of our past because we do not learn from our past. And when you continue to do the same thing, you get nothing but the same thing. When you continue to fall for the same ookie dokie, you get the same. But when you are aware of past mistake, when things went wrong and how certain things didn't go the way we thought, you realize, ok, I have to do something different in order to get different results. It just seems like were caught up in a butterfly effect in our minds. We keep revisiting the past(history reporting itself) because we haven't learned from it, curating those same trails that have always ended up in error, but on the other hand, we feel its the right way because were use to that way and going left would be too daring, and has a "no mercy/to harsh) approach, even though the other side has always been that way. And it will only continue to cycle until we realize change is inevitable, and let certain ideals go. Change your mind, change your view. Not only do we change our minds but our actions should follow. To me, right now, its not ALL about fact checking, but more pattern checking. Consistency.
