Trillion-mile-per-hour blackmetal (almost bordering on blackgrind in places) from mid 90's Germany.

The occasional snippets of "symphonic" stuff kinda hurt this one, but the guitar tone rules and they keep the tempos pretty nuts throughout so there's honestly more good here than bad.

Definitely worth a spin if you dig stuff like early Marduk, Immortal, Impaled Nazarene, Sadistik Exekution, etc.

A live rehearsal followed earlier this year, but at last has ASTRIFEROUS’ most ominous strike arrived: the four-song/21-minute The Lower Levels of Sentience. From its title on down to its four component song titles – “Ghost Universe,” “Exercises in Tantric Sorcery,” “Myriad of Grotesquerie,” and especially “Necrohallucination” – it’s immediately apparent the Costa Rican quartet are drawing from a different pool of inspiration for their dread creations. Bleak and bottomless is that abyss, and ASTRIFEROUS literally drown the listener in death metal molded from grotesque shapes, otherworldly pulses, and hideous energies. Their attack is squarely within pure ‘n’ proud DEATH METAL – churning, caustic, crushing – but sliced and sluiced are frayed threads of blackgrind and the bestial arts, altogether coalescing into a slipstream of sinister atmosphere and boundless morbidity. Okay okay me informan que se refieren a la supuesta demanda que H metió contra los paparazzis en LA por lo de Holivia. Les vengo a decir que eso es falso

No puedes meter una orden de alejamiento a “paparazzis” en plural; tiene que ser contra una persona en específico con nombre y apellido

Como lo hizo en el 2013 después de que Niall fuera atacado por uno y se identificaran a un stalker de Harry dentro de los paparazzis.

Ahora aun que ese fuera el caso (que no es factible ya que las fotos de holivia salieron por BlackGrind, por ellos lo paparazzis fueron contratados, no hay de otra) pero si llegara a ser el caso; tan fácil como no mandar a panchito Pérez que es quien tiene la orden de alejamiento y mandar a Juan Gómez que no la tiene

Lo que yo creo que no quieren (en específico tal vez H) que MP se lleve como se llevó DWD.

En twitter estan comenzando a salir cuentas de updates de My Policeman a decir que no habra fotos de H por la demanda que decian que hizo a los paparazzis, se me hace raro creo que solo es cuestion de los directores y en si H para proteger el personaje y asi

World Narcosis - World Coda

A Is an album from May too old for me to review if I’m pretending to be professional and up-to-the-minute about this?  Sure, most of its fresh riffs are just generic riffs cut up and folded in weird ways (an approach that makes these post-crusties really good at post-metal riffs, incidentally: they grasp that what makes repeating chords interesting, even expressive, is the suspense as to when they’ll stop).  But one can get so easily physically caught up in the way they lurch: the huge lifts and drops, rears and lunges of “Nigh(t)”, which syncs up rhythmic disjunctures and octave leaps to maximum effect.  Plus, they have an atmosphere that sneaks up on you; on first listen you may hear urban-grit texture to put bands like Indian which built their entire careers on it to shame.  But on second listen you’ll realize this sounds like something else, and, when you try to figure out what, you’ll find nothing.  World Narcosis’, as far as I know, purely original sound is based on a simple juxtaposition: dirty, grimy, grinding rhythm guitars with a clean, resonant, yet raw melodic lead that peals like a church bell at midnight and a fire alarm at the same time.  But it’s not just that: it also has something to do with the key of what’s either is G harmonic minor or some kind of C minor, and the spaciousness of the abyss of tom reverb on a track like “Everynone (Only Murder Walks You Home)” - space haunts this album in a lot of ways, actually - I’ve talked about it twice in this review (once obliquely), three times if I more precisely say gap or lacuna (which can apply to time as well), without even mentioning the bits where the frontman screams a cappella but instead of dissolving into the formless madness-as-sound-effect ranting this usually entails, sticks to the (minimalist, fragmentary) rhythms he would stick to when screaming over a guitar and drums, making for disorientingly long, precisely measured silences - but it’s not just that either.  I can’t say what it is, besides music, or whatever’s supposed to be in music that can’t be in anything other than music, or at least art, more generally.  So it’s not exactly like I can wait for another album to come along that I can recommend along the same lines, at least unless this practically unknown band picks up a following, and even then, I don’t think they’ll be as easy as Deafheaven to imitate.
