The weekend owes me nothing! Happy to grab some tickets early for Afro Punk Miami. I’ve been following since they were a blog. Extra special that my cousin/sister Adia flew in to experience with me. Had to fit in a couple big happenings with The Sankofa Arts Project for the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center, turn off to Miami with close friends n family to bathe in all that #blackjoy of Afro Punk! Very cool to bump into many familiar faces & meeting and taking a few photos with the amazingly talented photographer Jade Lilly @shootmejade. 😍. Definitely considering attending Afro Punk in another state as well. Can’t wait to do it again.
