Jeez. She made a big mess. Again. Her friends are not going to be happy...

But what can she do? Those guys were messing with people so she had no choice but to step in. Those guys were ruining her meal and it's really good too!! Maybe if she explains. Her friends would understand! Okay! Time to head back...eh? Wait...someone is standing there. Ink lets out a growl hoping to scare this guy off.

"Hey! If you want to mess with me, try it!" Ink said. But on the other hand...

"But if you're the police! Uhhh..." The creature tries to come up with a good answer, trying to look around.

"Just to answer your question. Nope! I did not start it!" Said the teenager as she already beat up several bad guys that are now neatly put on the side. However, she caused some property damage along the way. By accident of course.

But overall, she did not start this fight! These guys did.

Magenta eyes looked directly into his with a serious look, contradicting her next words that absolutely should not be taken as a professional advice as a doctor. "Alcohol." There was a break of a few seconds before she broke the seriousness of her tone with a chuckle. Maybe he was serious about taking her advice. But he didn't know the Agency doctor as her colleagues. He might take her seriously instead. "You need to understand what it is that is afflicting you. I can prescripe something for the time being, but... shouldn't you be more distrustful of me? There might be a truce going on but I wouldn't trust a Port Mafia member as far as I could throw them..."

The blonde looked at him, the blood was recent and still warm on her face. She didn't mind it as much as she should, the mafiosa was already used to it. It wasn't hers, her body remaining untouched from that encounter. The same could not be said about the man who dared to attack her in front of Akutagawa.

She felt grateful. Not only for being saved, but because he cared. It was good to be protected. Not because she was weak and needed a defender. But because she mattered to him, because he could not afford to lose her as much as she could not even think about something happening to him. It made her smile without realizing.

Higuchi walked towards him, hand moving to touch his lightly. He was one of the few things she cared about in that world. She would set the world on fire if that meant he would stay safe. "Me too. I will always have your back."

well he just admitted that he isn't normal - that's certainly something , not many people likes to admit that they aren't normal but for those that just doing their duties and some random human came across them they would kindly answered , but sometimes they don't . really depends .

Hollows , for some reason is named that , is probably because of the hole they would have around their body somewhere . a hollow hole , hole filled with nothingness .

she .. herself .. wasn't normal , she wasn't a human nor an arrancar , she was called a fullbringer , but not many people knows about it . her power was awaken because she wanted to protect her friends , and she was a fullbringer because her mother was attacked by a hollow and luckily survived before her mother gave birth to her .

she wasn’t exactly gifted , yet she wasn’t exactly normal . she was a thing that is called ‘fullbringer’ to some people which is a specimen that is more rarer than a soul reaper .. but even more rare than a fullbringer was Quincy , Uryu once said that they’re supposed to be extinct yet he was the only Quincy alive on earth .

as she heard him talk about the hollows being weak .. it kind of makes her felt something , fear ? no .. surprise .. ? she couldn’t tell clearly but she’s feeling something that she can’t quite explain , shook ? still doesn’t know .. is probably just shookness .

as he asked she shakes her head denying that , not all humans can see those things . it was only those with high spiritual pressure or a gifted power could see such a thing .

Her ability might not be an offensive one, but was essential to the Agency (and whoever was at their side) and desired by other organizations. She might not look much, but she was a great asset in battle. So maybe he should stop being stubborn about going alone. "I'll never give up, I'll never give in 'Til I'm bloody and bruised. "W-what? Me a-and Akutagawa-senpai?" If the stutter hadn't been enough of an embarrassment, she could feel her face starting to get hot. How could anyone know anything at all when even herself took soo long to realize that, beneath the excuses of her job. "D-don't talk nonsense. H-he would never. I could never... This is absurd!" She just hoped he wouldn't listen to that, there was only so much self control she could maintain.

Had she been daydreaming again? Or did he actually walked to her only to gift her something? She let out a content sigh, it was so cute, but felt frustrated that she could not express her gratitude before he walked away. She should find a way to thank him later.

The Port Mafia wasn't exactly popular, it was rather infamous. Akutagawa has had many instances when people recognize them and attack them. The male was looking at a window that displayed various antiques. Nearby he suddenly heard it. A fist in contact with someone else. And he looked over only to see a thug punching his assistant in the face.

His coat rippled as he began to walk towards his assistant on the ground and the thug that punched her. Tendrils reached out and grabbed the man, hoisting him up in the air. He struggled, trying to get free. But to no avail.

The head of Rashoumon appeared from the back of his coat. Only to open it's maw and devour the thug. Letting it rain down gore as he stood over Higuchi.

Once the thug was ripped to shreds, he sighed and looked down at his bodyguard.

He knelt down and cupped her cheek to inspect her face. "Good, it was a weak hit. I don't see any blood and your nose seems fine. Just enough to knock you down. Get up," he ordered as he rose from his spot, looking down at her. (✦) - @blackfanged-hellhound

What was a day as a member of the Port Mafia without at least one murder attempt on their life. But there were times where things didn't go as far as that. She's been punched, slapped and even spat at because of her role. Higuchi had been keeping an eye at her boss. S t a l k i n g, called her sister once in a jokingly way. But it had been enough to occupy her mind and distract her from her assailant, which she saw coming out of the corner of her mind, but didn't pay much attention. Not until she was being punched with enough force to throw her to the ground.

The moment she hit the pavement was the moment her hand reached to the back of her pants, grabbing one of her pistols and getting ready to shoot. Even if she were to decide not to kill him, she could not allow him to go unpunished. You don't go around punching mafiosi.

But he was there before she could pull the trigger, dark presence and all. No wonder the Mafia's enemies were scared shitless of him. No one would try to attack him out of nowhere like that. Having to deal with that kind of bullshit certainly was not part of his daily routine. Common people, lacking an ability would never be so bold to attack Akutagawa.

Instinctively she raised her arm over her head in order to prevent blood -- or anything worse -- to rain down her hair. Nothing screamed more PITIFUL than having to clean guts from your own hair on your day off.

When he cupped face she felt like she had so many things to say, thoughts going to questioning herself if he had noticied her earlier or only when she was attacked. But she didn't say anything, just nodded and got back on her feet, shoving her pistol in its place again. "I -- could've handled that..." It was just one unarmed foe, not much of a challenge. But she didn't want to seem ungrateful, because she wasn't. "Thank you..."

As he mentioned her power wanting to know more about it as another .. Well fullbringer in her eyes but he called it gifted , so might as well call it gifted too !

She looks up from his clothes before she put her hand above the hairpins on the sides of her hair . Then suddenly it started to glow bright orange before all the pieces of the blue flower hairpin goes into different kinds of .. Flying thing , almost like a bug that flies around her .

" this is called Shun Shun Rikka! I can protect and heal who's ever in need of them with these little fairies! "

She said looking at the little fairies surrounding her before she open up her hand and let one of them sat and rest themselves on her hand . Her smile never meant to fade and it will stay that way .

her silly cheerful smile was still put on her face never leaving her , not even when the man tells her that he too , gifted . She was kind of happy to meet the same kind of people too . Even though that just mean they're going to be in the same fate as hers , she have yet to know if he's going to stab her in the back and make her regret every decisions made in her life .. But now this won't hurt to try and trust another stranger .. Right .

His coat started to move around almost like a wiggling worm .. Is a Ted bit scary but it wasn't terrifying , in fact she was almost impressed by it . So his clothes can cut through anything ? Amazing !

No one is going to help someone that is threatening out of their own free will." She sighed, we're all humans like him? "Well, you might have to visit other worlds to get back to your world." She shook her head.

"These ones are probably much different than the ones you've encountered especially, if they belong to the Fragmentum." She scoffed, he was threatening her again? "Really? Again with the threats?" She turned around.

Hyacinth sticks out her tongue at him. "You can still come here even if someone helped you. It is a good place to use as a go between for the other worlds. I would have helped you, if you hadn't stormed off." She shrugs, "we've had Herta's work colleague down one time, and the Astral Express Crew comes back and forth because of a member having a Stellaron inside them." She replied. She wasn't sure if he had heard about them.

"Why? To tell you to be careful wandering the station, as Asta and Arlan might get annoyed about you doing nothing, but also because of the monsters still around."

She shook her head. "I guess I'll help you get home. You're welcome by the way." She chuckles.

So Ryuunosuke fights not because he enjoys it. He did it to survive and prove himself. But Matt wasn't sure if it was a lie or something that helps Ryuunsouke to cope. When it comes to fighting, there is something deep that makes people enjoy the thrill of fighting. Is Ryuunosuke any different? Who knows? He has to see.

"That makes sense. You're the kind of guy who wants to do things quickly so you can do other things!" Said Matt. Still....this guy...Dazai fantasizes about suicide. Matt isn't a big fan of it but this guy sounds pretty funny in getting someone to commit double suicide with. "Sounds like it's an annoying habit." He snickers, seeing Ryuunosuke's dead-pan expression.

"Hahaha!" Matt laughs, "Nah, it's fine. I have been called worse. You're not the first guy who calls me a lowlife and other things." Telling Ryuunosuke not to worry about it. Now that he gets to know him better, maybe they can plan something together. He heard about his disease. He is silent when listening to him about his lung disease.

"That sucks." He said. "Still...enduring it while getting stronger. That's something I can respect." He doesn't know what else to say but that. Used to it, huh. "Hmmm..." He thinks. "Got anything to do after this? I am hanging out in a forest north of here." He tells him where he is.

"You seem to understand me a bit better now," Akutagawa commented. "I do not fight because I ENJOY it. I fight to try to prove myself and to survive. I don't take pleasure in killing people, and I do everything in my power NOT to torture people. My kills are usually quick to not cause pain.." He usually lopped the head off or stabbed them in the chest right at the heart. Though with Rashoumon, it usually got a bit messy because he would shred the body to make SURE they would be dead, that and to leave an example for people to fear the Port Mafia.

He nodded his head to confirm. "He seems to always know everything... Though, he's a bit odd.. He fantasizes about suicide a lot.. Apparently from what I last heard, he wants to find a woman to commit double suicide with.." he shared with a bit of a dead pan expression. He wasn't sure if he was actually ever SERIOUS about his suicide attempts, or what.. Dazai was very strange...

He blinked a few times, surprised about the apology. His hand comes to rub the back of his head. "Sorry for my earlier insult as well... In past times, you really would have provoked me into a fight. But I've been working on my temper... Another thing Dazai has told me to work on.." It seemed Akutagawa was working on more than just being strong. He was working on other ways to improve himself too.

He coughed once more and kept his palm on his lips. Closing his eyes for a moment. "I have a lung disease.. so often I cough, and even cough up blood. It's something I have to live with, but I am used to it by now," he explained to the other male.

Had he been anyone else, perhaps she would've told him sooner. But she had been certain that he would never like her back and that having her say anything would turn things awkward. And in her mind, it was already bad enough that he had no feelings about her, she could not lose him as a partner as well. She could not allow things to get weird or for him to send her away. So she kept silent.

She believed he cared about her somehow. And sometimes she also believed she was fantasizing about the fact, seeing things that did not exist. But really like her? Or even love her? It never crossed her mind.

Higuchi could not allow herself to faint. Not when she finally had something good in her life. He might not love her. But it was something. And she would take anything if it meant he would show her any bit of affection.

Those were forbidden words. Strong enough not to be ignored so easily. They should be kept to herself. Not risking the heartbreak of a rejection.

The remnants of her composure had crumbled to the ground the instant he pulled her into a hug, a pleased sigh leaving her mouth, her hand abandoning the front of his clothes to run up his back, nose brushing against his neck. In that small moment, she wasn't so sure if she had any control of herself, if she would overthink anything about the things she wished to do.

She did not think about how there was a possibility of things being weird between them now that he knew she felt so strongly about him. Nor did she think about anything at all that wasn't the sound of his heartbeat, his scent so close to her and the way his soft hair brushed against her skin.

There was almost a whine at being pulled away, wanting to go back to feeling him in every way she could. But she did not say anything as she looked at him.

"You know I will always respect you..." He didn't even love her back. Higuchi feared that she would even scare him if she were to expose everything she wanted to do. But something was better than nothing at all.

Akutagawa wasn't one to admit he had any feelings. Of course though, he would protect her, even at the cost of the mission. He always would. Deep down he knew he valued her more than the mission, the humiliation of a failure he would receive because of it. But he didn't care, as long as she was SAFE.

He really wasn't sure how long he had these feelings for her, locked away. But tonight opened the door to his heart, just by letting her close. He didn't think he could close it, even if he forced it shut... He had to say, if he could think back of when he started to feel that bubbling feeling.. Was when he failed to capture the Were-Tiger and was in a coma.. only to wake to her.. That was probably when he first started to harvest feelings for her.. But just didn't know it..

Seeing her sway in place, he steadied her with his hand slipping to her shoulder. He didn't want her to fall and hurt herself MORE, but he would catch her if she were to faint. He wondered HOW LONG he has been so OBLIVIOUS to her feelings... Honestly if she didn't state those words to him, he would have never known.

She shouldn't have said that? He wanted to ask WHY, but instead shook his head. With now sitting up right, he pulled her into a tight hug. Not only to help steady her, but because he wanted to. Wanted her close again...

"I am glad you told me.. I don't.. understand feelings very well. Never in my life have I had to deal with them. Even as a child I was emotionally numb," he shared with her, keeping her in the hug.

She could probably feel his heart beat in his chest, as he felt hers. Listening and feeling the hammering in her body. "If you're patient with me... I will allow this," he said, pulling a bit away from the hug so he could look at her.

"What I mean by 'this' is affection.. As long as you respect when I have had enough, you may hug, kiss, hold hands, or anything..." He wasn't sure how much affection she had in her or how much he could take if it was never ending. He had a feeling if she had her way, she would never let go of him...

Higuchi knew that the few times when they deliberately went somewhere together that didn't involve their work, it was for his own health, certainly by the recommendation order of the boss and not himself. But they were hardly by themselves, often having to deal with other members of the Mafia. It was disappointing, to say the least.

So sure, it was surprising that he would invite her to go with him when he so insistently rejected so many of her own invitations. Even the ones disguised with excuses. Even Gin went out with her once. Although, Higuchi must say that even his sister thought it to be work related at first. Maybe being dense sometimes ran in the family.

"I-I'm sorry..." It wasn't her intention to let her emotions pour so easily, but it always had been a bit difficult when it came to him. Great, she was already ruining everything.

She was glad, however, that her clear excitement did not deter him from bringing her with him. It was with a nod that she knew she must go for her spare clothes and find one of the bathrooms in order to change. Maybe she should let her hair down, she considered. This wasn't work, after all.

Usually he went out by himself. Only time he'd see Higuchi was if they met each other outside by crossing paths. Only person he ever hung out with out of work was Gin most of the time. But even then he mostly went out by himself. The lone wolf liked to have time to himself to think.

He wasn't sure WHY he extended this offer to her.. But lately.. he's been enjoying spending time with her. He wouldn't admit it, but deep down in his heart he knew he liked her presence and the way she cared for him. Even though he was more than capable of taking care of himself, it was nice that someone had concern for him and would help out (even though he rejected it most of the time...)

"I didn't expect you to see some excited about it," he commented the way she seemed to brim with excitement. He didn't comment on it, but it was kinda cute....

"I'll meet you outside. Change your clothes and fix your hair. I'll be waiting," he said before departing to wait outside for her.

"Well, I came to eat as well, of course. I was out shopping anyways. But don't you have an assistant or something to cook for you? Dazai said she's even pretty. But that man is a whore, so can I really consider his words?"
