A little #gymnastics skill work. 10 min EMOM of 1 Strict Muscle Up + 1 Strict Dip + 1 Kipping Muscle Up. #mobility is the intersection of #flexibility and #strength. Practices like yoga and gymnastics help me to expand and stretch the limits of my flexibility while still asking me to draw into the center of my strength to be able to hold it all together. Only through the intersection of FLEXIBILITY and STABILITY/STRENGTH can you find full ROM in a complex skill like the #strictmuscleup taking your shoulders from flexion, transitioning with control into extension. Stability becomes even more paramount when you take a strict movement and turn it into a dynamic movement like the #kippingmuscleup. It's never either/or it's always both/and. Hadn't been upside down all week so I thought I was overdue. That excitement you feel when you stick a #handstand cold, no warm up, no stretching or anything.
