Friday Reads Oct 23

My reading this past week has been an adventure, from the ski slopes in Ruth Ware’s One by One, to the Texas pastures in Butterfly Yellow by Thanha Lai.

The library pick for this week is The Salt Roads by Nalo Hopkinson. The story focuses on four women and the relationships they have with their lovers. One woman has the same first name as me. She is Jeanne Duval, a descendent of Black slaves and white sailors.
