Background:

Youngest child out of the two, coming from a luxurious palace that’s hidden behind the mountains of Shanghai, China. Not many people new about this place, besides there own kind, and warlocks. But of course there was a few races out there that knew that exist. His parents, Jìngyi and Zhen would often do their best to have him remain within the place be involved in his studies, training but there was a moments he had found himself curious of the outside world was like. He did enjoy his life in the place, but sometimes he strived for companionship, especially if people wasn’t aware that he was second in line soon to be emperor. Something about not being known for royalty, had him at ease. Not that he was never fond of the life that he had, but sometimes he did seek normalcy.

The palace was known to create the finest herbs, that it was impossible to get from anywhere else. Their herbs were well known for their great benifits, healing,to helping others feel calm especially if their magic was used and so on. His mother Jingyi would often tend the garden and teach Xiao how to use the herbs into tea.He was practically raised with herbal remedies, using traditional tea sets. Slowly the with  found himself fond of carrying the glass cup that was beautifully designed as he gently threw the herbs in. His father and Xiao would often to spend their time sword training, since it was expected to learn at least one combat skill within the royal bloodline.

One day as he snuck out of the place trying to secretive as much as he could. Long hooded robe, sneaking out when the stars just appeared beyond the night sky. He would usually takes this chance to travel throughout the city and explore before it would hit dawn. That night,  he came across a tea shop. He couldn’t help but be curious as his eyes laid on the elegant decorates. And so he walked in, and of course the owner did indeed reconigize who he was, but never decided to point it out. Instead the two shared endless conversations, recipes and even gave Xiao the chance to practice on creating authentic tasteful teas. And that’s when he knew..he wanted to own a teashop. Maybe that wasn’t exactly royalty of him, but who needs to stick to traditions anyways right?

Eventually as time passed by, his brother, Yǔxuān was then officially the emperor. There was a huge celebration. And his friend couldn’t help but run up to him out of breath as he held out out a scroll. A scroll that had spoke about a beautiful place called insitlous. His friend knew what Xiao had always wanted to, and so he couldn’t help but say. “This is your chance! You can go explore, have a tea shop of your own before you become emperor!” his friend yelled having Xiao quickly hush him. He was ecstatic, but he definitely knew this was something he had to convince his brother, and his parents.

And so the next day he brought it up to his brother (of course before his parents) showing the scroll to him bringing up much he wanted a teashop of his own. At first his brother was a bit hesitant at the idea, but as soon as he saw how excited Xiao was he couldn’t say no to that. Yǔxuān agreed, and then he managed to convince his parents which took a couple days he couldn’t help but run to his room packing up his belongings. They were absolutely not at ease at the thought of him traveling alone and so they insisted his friend to come with him, to at least drop him off there safely. They would have royal guards join with Xiao, but they were quite aware of how the guards can barely keep up with him when it came to venturing everywhere and anywhere. Especially when he got the chance to travel outside of China? Imagine the guards freaking out as they try to find Xiao.

And once he arrived he settled in, creating a shop called “The Lotus” once exploring the village Vighular. This was his chance to venture out of the palace and so he went for it.

So I know that for a lot of people suffering with an eating disorder, tea is a really big deal. No calories, warm, tasty, everything. But I know that some teas can get boring, and not everyone likes plain green or black tea( or any plain tea for that matter) so I present to you, OLD BARREL TEA COMPANY!!

My personal favorite is this one here, it’s naturally sweet without any sugar/honey/artificial sweetener. It has a Creme brûlée flavor that is borderline addicting. It’s so nice to make a nice giant hot mug, when I’m fasting it helps get rid of sweet cravings, and it’s made with green tea as the base, so it has all the weight loss benefits, and dosent taste like burnt leaves. It’s a win

They have so many flavors, I haven’t gotten to try them all yet but I will one day!

🍑 Peach Tea 🍑

You will need:

🍑1-2 peaches

🍑6 cups of water

🍑6-8 black teabags

🍑 I cinnamon stick

To Prepare:

🍑Slice the peaches into six to eight slices each. Place in a pot with cinnamon, bring to a boil.

🍑 Let simmer for about 20 minutes.

🍑Turn off heat, add teabags, cover and let sit for 30-40 minutes.

anyway, some easy and important tips, suggestions and variations for a perfect aloo bhujia recipe. firstly, in this recipe, i haven’t added spices like black pepper and limited to the basic spice powders. you can experiment and add spices like ginger powder, onion powder and also pepper powder. secondly, you need to fry these in a medium to low flame. also you have to be careful and remove it from oil when it reaches yellowish colour. do not wait till reach dark yellow colour as it continues to cook even after removed from the oil and may turn dark. lastly, in this recipe post, i have used just a boiled and grated potato. you can experiment and increase the quantity of aloo or besan as per your taste.

What Friendship Is For

“I worry about your King.” Alle said as she finished the main course that had been prepared for her. It had been a dish of clams and pasta with a light creams sauce. One of Anthion’s favorites, or so he said. Since the previous week with the impromptu visit from the Blood King, Alle had gained air of caution. “That visit last week, I don’t know how to read it.”

Anthion cleared her plate with a fond smile. Fondness, Alle could tell the Darkfallen used more fondness with her on that day. “He is a hard man to read when one doesn’t know the reasoning behind what he says.”

“And what, is his reasoning Anthion?” She asked pointedly string him down. To her knowledge the Blood King only cared about one thing, the Duchess of Kiden. Anything else was just a tool to get closer to his target.

The man paused as he placed her plate in the sink with a few other dishes he had to finish cleaning. The endless black eyes didn’t blink but focused. “We have established that we are friends Alle. Enochi is my friend as well. So he wanted to see what kind of humans I can maintain friendships with.”

It was a logical answer, one Alle did not mind hearing about. “And I have met to his standards?”

Opening up the icebox, Anthion pulled out a fully set cheesecake that he slowly sliced and brought over to her. “Utterly. You know how to treat royalty.”

“I know how to treat bigger predators than myself. Don’t mark me as a fool Anthion. We both know that while I’m a woman outside my own race, I am no equal to you and even less than that to your King.” She returned with a pointed tone. Only her eyes fell to the dessert he had brought before her. “What is this?”

Anthion smiled and puffed up in a way that Alle guessed the man was prideful for what he was about to say. “This is a lavender tea infused cheesecake with a shortbread crust. I thought it would be complementary to your tea for the week.”

“Are you now making me baked goods for my tea Anthion?” Alle asked looking up at him. It was an amusing thought. She could have a number of people over and no one would know that the man who had made their tea cakes was what they would call an undead monster.

“Well.” He said taking a seat with a fond smile... again, there was that fondness. “Someone has to make you something half edible. More than the shortbread cookies I see you keep around here.���

Taking a bite of the tea Alle paused and savored the flavors. Since being away from Azeroth the closest to finely made food was something Dorjan and Dun’Yazad would make, but it was always humble. Anthion’s food was layered in a story that he didn’t speak about himself. That he loved fine beautiful things, that he loved simple well made things. His food was just a way he expressed his heart. And being caught up in the moment Alle let out a small quiet moan at the flavors.

The sound caused the strangest effect on her friend. Anthion leaned closer then pulled away taking a long drink from his cup. “You like it I take it?”

“I do.” She felt a smile fall on her as she took a larger more greedy bite. “Your cooking does not stop me from being wary of your King, remember that. I have faced things that make your King seem, manageable. I have managed them, and i will find a way to stay in our dance that he is making.”

She couldn’t be sure, but she knew that Anthion would have told Enochi about The Forest. As such she was sure it would interest him. A realm between realms. One where powers and people unknown were able to hide. It had to be a tempting thought. So if she was going to continue this, she would need help.

“Anthion.” She said after taking another bite and resisting a moan. “Can you teach me Thalassian?”

He paused tilting his head like a curious bird. “Why are you wanting to learn?”

Alle took another slow bite of cheese cake sighing this time. The effect it was having on her friend went unnoticed. He shifted in his seat, his eyes softened, but still Alle continued. “The Ren’Dorei have appeared and speak in Thalassian. I would like to be able to offer them something of home, common words and the like.”

Picking up his glass of blood he drank deeply and let out a long pleasurable sigh. This time Alle noticed and blushed a little. She liked the way his voice sounded when she knew he liked something. It made her heart twist strongly in her chest.

“I’ll teach you Ancent Thalassian first. It’s an opportunity for you to impress Enochi.” He said with a larger fanged smile. Such a demonstration should have scared her, but the Earlessa did not pull away.

Tucking away the information Alle nodded. “I would, like that. Perhaps next time I see him I’ll be able to do an a greeting in his chosen tongue. Thank you Anthion.”

“Alle-Dear, Think nothing of it. This is what our friendship is for.” He said gesturing to the kitchen. “I like cooking, and you need to learn a new language.”

Nearly finished with her cheesecake he nodded to the dish. “I feel like I’m getting all the benifits from this relationship. You give me too much and are horrible at imposing. I think last week is the first time you have done so.”

“I want to stay in your good graces. And I really was having a hard time last week, it was a blessing that you let me cook.” He offered a hand out to her.

Alle looked down at the ring she was wearing, the one that was syphoning away her light magic. Tentivily she reached over and took his hand. “That is what our friendship is for.” She repeated looking back up at him. “Tell me how to say hello.”

With a larger fanged smile Anthion picked up her hand and started to rub her warm skin. Then meeting her eyes he would start slowly saying the words out as clearly as possible. This was just another step in their friendship. That Un-naturally organic relationship they both were looking for.

A Sprinkle of Pepper

A common Kitchen staple, Black Pepper is most often used for warding, cursing, and protection.

When warding, pepper can be scattered in an area to protect from a variety of things. Apart from scattered, pepper could be burned, added to charms, or used in spells. Use it with old nails for a particularly effective ward on property.

To expand on its warding and protective uses, pepper can also be used to dispel unwanted entities, negative energy and unwelcome visitors. Pepper is also used for spell breaking.

Sigils and Candles

It is important when selecting a sigil, rune, or ward for any type of spell crafting that it resonates with you. There is no right or wrong way to select a sigil as there are various styles to choose from out there, however, your spells will work better in the way intended if you can resonate with the energy given off by the symbols of your choosing. 

In short, go with your gut, if it feels right, then you can’t go wrong. 

Just do your research.

Candles are often where it can get a bit tricky when it comes to Magick and spell weaving. However, there are a tons of great guides out there to choose from to find the right color of candle for your work.

For this particular spell, I chose a white tea candle as white candles are universal and can be substituted in for any candle color for Magick crafting.

With candle magick, there are several components to keep in mind. Candles need to be charged with your energy so focusing on your goal for the spell is important. Also worth noting, cleansing anything with sage or moonlight before using it in spell crafting is a must for spells to work as intended and to avoid any tainted energy or vibrations your tools pick up along their way from manufacturor to store front.

Once you have cleansed your tools, charged your candle with clear, focused energy and intent, the next thing on the list to do is to carve the sigil of choice into the side surface of your candle.

Once carved, you can annoint your candle with the oil made for the intended spell. 

Note here that my negativity banishing anoiting oil was both cleansed with sage smoke and charged by moonlight before use for the best results.

To annoint or dress your candle, rub the herbal oil while once more focusing your mind on the intended task and invision the results you want. For banishing, rubing the candle up from base to wick is a good method and visa versa for attracting.

Once the candle is carved, charged, and dressed, then the ritual can be started. 

ALWAYS make sure you use caution when handling flames of any sort- safe witchcraft is happy witchcraft!

Imagination is a powerful thing. Utilize it in spell weaving to add extra potency to your spell. For me, and the intended purpose of expelling negative energy from my home, I focused on casting it out, much like a broom sweeping away the lingering layers of negative energy that had settled around my home like dust and dirt, sweeping it out my front door.

Some find chanting helps to not only channel ones focus but to also build the energy in the spell and incantations can be a simple rhyme repeatedor an actual banishing incantation designed for the purpose of the spell. Again, if it feels right to you, then indulge the feeling. Trust your instincts.

Allow the candle to burn out. Some say 15 minutes is enought but candles used in spells should never be reused as they can trap energy from previous spells and rituals. As the candle melts, so should the oppressive feeling of negative energy in your home.

Keep in mind spells work best when given a clear direction. No spell are wish makers or miracle workers. Spells take practice and patience to work as intended and some may have to be cast a few times to garner the full effect- no one hit wonders here.

Believe in the spell and your abilities to cast them, give them time to work, and you will certainly reap the benifits. The same principle with smudging or any other spell work. Practice makes perfect, respect the elements called upon for your craft, and have faith in your work.
