General Dating Headcanons | Black Hat

Black Hat X Reader fandom: Villainous/Villainos words: 1132 cw: none!! enjoy! a/n: Hi hi!! ive really been wanting to do headcanons for Black Hat for a while, I'm open to asks and requests so dont be afraid to drop a suggestion in!!

(Platonic):

Black hat is by no means an easy boss. He’s ruthless, unmerciful and bitter, and you are no exception in the Eldrich’s case.

At first.

When you were first hired to be an employee at Black Hat Organization, Black Hat treats you as he would any of his other employees.

With zero respect.

He has very little tolerance for inefficiency

But you were absolutely determined to live up to his impossible expectations.

Maybe you spent a little extra time organizing his paperwork, or added a smidge more arsenic to his tea than usual (he had a sweet tooth for poison occasionally) and maybe you even bothered to dust some of his prized artifacts and tomes from his glory days as villain, making them look as new as the day he got them, and so many other things you did that seemed to make his life a little bit more stress-free.

At first, he thought nothing of it, it wasn't uncommon that his henchmen would grovel at his feet and suck up to him, it amused him really. 

But overtime the eldritch realizes that you wanted to do these little tasks. 

But why?? He was the most feared being in existence, and you went out of your way to do the smallest task to appease him. You seemed to worm your way into his thoughts, even as he sat perched at his desk in the wee hours of the night. Why were you just so…sweet! You should be cowering in fear!!

Speaking of fear, he loooooooves to scare the shit out of you, popping up when you least expect, out of the shadows, morphing into some unspeakable abomination of eyes and mouths (possibly) scarring you, always got a kick out of him.

After working for him for some time you were the only one, he seemed to tolerate, you managed to do your job with little to no flaw or mistake, unlike his scientist.

Dr. Flug admittedly was slightly envious.

He’d never admit it but, Black Hat enjoys holding conversation with you from time to time. He allows you to ask questions, most of them being about all the things he had witnessed and accomplished in the eons he’s been alive. He almost admired the way your eyes lit up in wonder as he explained. Almost.

You enjoyed these little private conversations too, occasionally the demon would ask a question or two about yourself, which you would happily answer. He may show no interest on the outside, but on the inside he's curious. Something he rarely feels.

He does have a reputation to uphold however, and still threatens, yells and demeans you just as he would any of his other employees.

Gotta keep you on your toes, ya know? 

But deep down you know. You know that he secretly enjoys your company and is too stubborn to actually admit it.

You even dare to go as far and say that he was a friend. Don't let him hear you say that though.

When I say this man is conflicted

The mere thought of love made Black Hat’s face morph into an ugly scowl, something he thought was near impossible for him to ever experience. The man had no heart for goodness's sake!

Oh, but then you had to weasel yourself into his life, his home, with your sweetness, didn't you?

Let me be clear when I say that this old man has never experienced these kinds of feelings before in his lifetime, and when he does, he thinks he’s possibly dying.

Did I also mention dramatic??

When realization dawns on him, he is absolutely floored, and the first thing he does is avoid you like the plague, which confuses you and raises a bit of concern. He rarely calls you to his office, and when he does, he avoids eye contact or just faces away from you entirely, barely acknowledging your presence.

Definitely becomes moodier, and more irritable as his feelings fester.

It’s not until you confront him one evening, when the manor is still and quiet, everyone having retreated to their respective rooms hours ago. That he finally confesses.

And being the extremely old fashioned eldritch he is, he formally asks to court you, how could you deny such a tempting proposition from the lord himself??

Of course, you say yes, why wouldn't you?? It’s an honor to be courted by Lord Black Hat!

Surprisingly, nothing changes much at first, he’s still very new to these feelings.

You both come to the agreement to keep your courtship strictly private and away from prying eyes, as I’ve said the man has a reputation to uphold.

God forbid Demencia finds out either. 

With all that being said, you both take things very slowly, which thankfully you were patient and understanding about, he's experiencing all these things for the first time.

It’s a good thing you're there to help guide him, right?

He may not have ever been in a relationship, but he isn't stupid. This demon is a straight up gentleman, and extremely chivalrous. Call it old-fashioned if you must, But the man is a charmer.

Despite his villainous persona, Black Hat shows rare moments of unexpected softness when he's alone with you.

He might not admit it, but he secretly enjoys quiet evenings, perhaps reading or just spending time together in one of his private studies. He personally enjoys reading the Necronomicon to you.

Black hat also has an uncanny ability to find and present unique, often mysterious gifts. They might be rare artifacts, darkly enchanted trinkets, or even personalized items that reflect his understanding of your tastes. You keep every single one of them.

He’s surprisingly a good listener and remembers just about anything you tell him.

Which by the way, this man spoils you.

When it comes to dates, Black Hat goes all out. He arranges extravagant, exclusive events, whether it's a candlelit dinner on a rooftop or a private screening at the manor. 

He once brought you to another dimension to view the downfall of an alien civilization, how romantic!

Black Hat, in his own twisted way, is fiercely protective over you. He might not show it overtly, but anyone who dares to even look at you with disdain will face the Eldrich’s fiery wrath.

Overall, Black Hat is surprisingly a good lover and partner. Your life never seems to be dull with him around, and you're incredulously grateful and honored to be able to see this side of him, even if it's behind closed doors. He has a hard time conveying his feelings and being vulnerable, but you're patient and understanding and eager to help guide him.

He never would have thought love was possible for him until you came along.

Whispering in his ear and masquerading as his conscience, guiding him more and more to the path of villainy because Flug is his soulmate and he’ll be damned if his soulmate is a hero.

Flug actually becoming a top hero and black hat slowly corrupting and seducing his soulmate till Flug can’t bear to be apart from him.

Till finally he denounces heroism and joins black hat as his right hand

Villainous x reader who's a sleepwalker (someone who moves, speaks and walks in their sleep)

DR FLUG🧪:

First time he found you walking around the manor at night he though you were suicidal. He was scolding you when he realised that your eyes were closed and that you were asleep.

He's the one you can trust to actually protect you from yourself when you are wandering in your sleep.

Every time Flug catches you out of your bed at night, he carefully guides you back trying not to wake you up.

I won't deny he hasn't experimented a bit with you in that state.

After the first night of the discovery, having already processed your strange behaviour, he started following you without interacting, observing what would you do or where would you go.

The experiments had determined that sometimes you formulate complete sentences, though really incoherent or direct nonsense 🤌👀

Some examples of what he has heard coming out of your mouth are: "omellet, picke omellet please." "Help wanted, this ship is empty" "yes sir the cow is asleep".

Those are some examples of the bullshit you are saying while asleep.

Flug is the typical dude that is taking care that you don't end up in some kind of mortal danger. 🫂

Will actively try to make you go to your room again and if he doesn't manage to do that, he will try to tie you up in the sofa or smth.

Overall, he is the one who worries about you the most and the only one who will not reprimand you in the mornings.

Talking about mornings. When you manage to wake up the next day, having a little bit of headcahe (you've been hitting your head with door frames all night) he will try to encourage you to lock your bedroom at night.

He's really curious about what the hell are you dreaming about. I mean, the shit you pull at night are really some piece of work, he's curious 🤨.

You have asked him to give you a chest camera so you can record what you do at night. You guys watch it together once a week.

All in all, he is the only one who actively care for your well being.

DEMENCIA 🦎:

A menace.

The moment she realises you're sleep walking, the moment she starts messing with you in your sleep (but lovingly ☺️)

If she sees you get to close of falling through a set of stairs, she will stop you so you don't accidentally break your neck.

Demencia draws stuff in you face like a fake moustache or something written like: Dem is the best. (When you wake up and realise that the marker is permanent you are going to seek vengeance)

Has a lot of videos and photos about you, and of the constant nonsense you spill.

At night, whenever your talking in your dreams and saying the most outrageous and out of pocket stuff, shes there listening to you.

And the worst? She will answer and keep a conversation with your sleeping self.

Smth like this:

Reader: *mumbling* ketchup pajamas are in the cabinet on the Pacific. The Italians have been slaved.

Demencia: yeah girl you go!! Fuck that Mario plumber 🪠

Will not shut up about the shameful shit you do while sleeping. She's laughing at you and mocking you but will still vigilantes you in case you get to risky at night.

She will lend you her straitjacket some nights so you can be safe at one place without the risk of waking up in a forest. 👌👏

In conclusion:Demencia will have WAY more fun than Flug with your condition but still acknowledges that you can get hurt and tries to avoid it. (Almost always)

BLACK HAT 🎩:

He didn't really know how to react the first time he catched you wandering his manor at night. 🧐

Just as Flug, he though you had a death wish but also quickly realised, by your apparent drunken walk, that you were asleep.

Doesn't really interfere at first, just follows you and quietly watches. BH is genuinely entertained by your strange behaviours.

Has tried several times to interpret your mumbling and murmuring but at some point he realised it was complete gibberish.

You somehow managed to enter his office at night from time to time. (Apparently you know how to pick locks while sleeping 🫣🤗)

One night you were on the floor against the wall of his office saying something stupid he could barely understand when you suddenly started changing languages.

Reader: Yeah, stop it mom this is not guacamole. Sabes que no me sienta bien para el páncreas und ich habe Magenschmerzen. Bitte Krabbe. 🦀

BH: what the fuck-

That when black hat wanders why did he even let you in (he didnt, you picked the lock again)

After understanding your apparent almost suicidal way through his home he started to block some doors from your acces so you couldn't reach a tortuous death.

Once he catched you trying to enter a iron maiden he had laying around 💀🙈

This doesn't mean you're completely safe though.

I see him as the typical who magically transports you to a remote place so he can observe how you manage. Have fun trying to get back when you wake up ;)

The worst he has done was waking you up in the middle of your nightly walks scaring the shit out of you. He casually did it just a few steps near a set of stair which made you fall off.

After making sure you were in fact still alive he just laughed like a freaking maniac, dragged you to flugs rooms and after waking him up with a scream he left you there to be attended by him.

Whenever he sees you coming out of a room you didn't know about the night before or just entering the main gate after the night he just assumed you were in your own dreamy world. 🌚💤

Has transported you to your room every time he hear your near his office. Sometimes he even bother to open the door to see what the helm you're doing. 👀👀

Basically doesn't really intervene unless he's to bored or deems it absolutely necessary.

505 🐻:

He didn't really noticed your habits because he tends to sleep really well

But one night, he woke up to get a glass of water and he saw you walking in front of the bosses office trying to Transpass the door. 👻👻

He didn't quite understand what you were doing until he got close to you and saw your closed eyes .

He still didn't knew you were asleep so he started interacting with you trying to deduct why we're you acting so strange..🥸

Once you finally woke up, startled and confused, you explained to him that you were sleeping and to not worry to much.

Spoiler alert: he will worry to much.

Doesn't really understand why you do it but since you are so confident he will trust your judgement.

If 505 catches you out of your bed, you can be sure he's hugging you and carrying you back to you room, sometimes he has even dragged you to flugs room and lays you on the floor.

Flug almost tripped with your unconscious body in the morning. What a great way to get up 😃🖕

Doesn't care that you talk while sleeping. Since you don't have outbursts, you just tend to mumble, he can sleep peacefully even if your having a full blown rant about different types of hydric sources.

I think BlackHat relies on gift giving, but not out of genuine love and adoration. He uses it to keep you interested and persuade you into staying until he can fully trap you in his web.

FLUG:

Words of Affirmation because I feel like (this is a theory) he didn’t get a lot of attention nor affection as a kid. He definitely doesn’t get it in the workplace so hearing praise and genuine admiration definitely hits him in the heart.

DEMENCIA:

Physical touch, she’s constantly all over you. It could range from cuddling to a very aggressive spar session. She just loves to have her hands on you. I think Demencia is pretty touch starved with the person she loves.

It seemed like over a fucking hour since you arrived at Hat Manor, sitting on a red velvet baroque armchair across from the desk, in the company of the great and infamous Villain: Lord Black Hat.

Indeed, after several unsuccessful attempts to find a job, you had found a card on your door with the phone number and emblem of the Black Hat Organization. At first, you were hesitant. You had already heard about this organization and what it consisted of. You had even watched several of their videos on YouTube to learn more. You are an ordinary human being, you have never committed a criminal act and the idea of ​​working for the most feared and dangerous being in the Universe makes you shiver with fear. However, you had no other options. It was an unexpected chance. You had grabbed your cell phone with a trembling hand and dialed the number that was written on the card. It had only taken 5 seconds to pick up. To your relief, it was not Black Hat on the other end of the line but his faithful right-hand man and scientist Dr. Flug. You had explained your situation to the doctor and he had granted you a job interview with the boss of the Organization in a few days. You were both relieved and anxious. If you make a good impression on Black Hat, maybe he will accept that you work for him. But one wrong step and it will be over for you. Forever.

In the end, the job interview went pretty well, to your surprise. You were nervous when you entered the office and stood in front of Lord Black Hat. Even though he was intimidating at first, he was strangely patient and professional with you. He asked you questions about yourself, your motivations, your knowledge of his company, and you had to explain to him why he should hire you. This last question destabilized you a little but you had managed to find the right words to convince him.

A mischievous smile appears on the evil being's face and makes a contract and a fountain pen appear in front of you in a cloud of black smoke.

You slowly reach out to the pen and carefully read the contract on the desk. Your heartbeat accelerates and you don't know if it's because of excitement or anxiety. You knew that once you signed that contract you would literally lose your soul and there would be no turning back but on the other hand you would finally be free from that fucking unemployed status.

Black Hat taps his gloved fingers impatiently on the wood of his desk, his eyes fixed on you, disturbing you in the process. You grab the pen without wasting another second and sign your name at the bottom of the contract.

The entity displays a satisfied smile and begins to chuckle. He makes the pen and the signed contract disappear in a green flame.

"Perfect! Welcome to the Black Hat Organization, Miss (Y/n)! You will start your work tomorrow! On your first day, Dr. Flug will guide you and explain your tasks to be performed!"

"T-Thank you, sir! I will not disappoint you, I promise!"

As you were about to get up from your chair and leave the room, your boss calls out to you.

"One more thing!"

"Yes, sir?"

Silence…

Black Hat stares at you again. His gaze is neutral this time. An uneasy feeling invades you. You have always hated when someone looks at you like that. It makes you feel like a frightened prey that risks being eaten by a hungry predator every time when someone looks at you like that.

To break the awkward silence that reigns, a little too long for your liking, in this room, you ask him why he wants to keep you after the interview. Could it be that he has changed his mind?

Black Hat smiles at the worry on your face and stands up from his throne to walk over to you.

You lean back in your chair when he is only a few inches away from you.

"Tell me, my dear? Has anyone ever told you that you have beautiful eyes?"

That left you speechless. You didn't expect that kind of question at all, especially coming from him! Since he kind of complimented you.

"I… I beg your pardon?"

He leans over and reaches his gloved hand towards your head to slowly caress your cheek. His touch sends a small shiver down your spine and you feel the red burning in your face.

"They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, right? In yours, I see that you had gone through many difficult trials to achieve your goal. You were determined despite the many failures that upset you. No one encouraged you and supported you, not even your family… You could always do it on your own. Oh, poor little thing…”

The being mocks. The image of you curled up on yourself, desperate to be stuck in a vicious circle forever, alone, without having someone to support you and help you get through this overwhelming ordeal makes him tear a smirk. What an asshole.

You were speechless. Everything he said was true. How could he have guessed all this just by looking at your eyes? You were about to ask him when Black Hat brought his face closer to yours. His cold breath made you shiver again. Your heart was pounding in your chest that you were convinced would burst any second. You gasped involuntarily when you felt the evil entity's hand slide from your face to your neck. He ran a clawed finger over the curve of your neck to trace a thin, scarlet line. A hiss of pain came out of your mouth. You felt a drop of warm, wet pearl slide from your neck to your collarbone. Alarmed, you mechanically grabbed Black Hat's wrist to push his clawed hand away from your now bloodied neck, but his superhuman strength didn't allow it.

"What are… what are you doing?! Stop…!"

“Calm down, my dear.” He orders in a confident but firm voice. “I promise you that if you stay still, it will hurt less. Unless you would prefer to start your work day with your neck shredded?” The bastard laughs like crazy as if it were the best joke he has ever told. He grabs your hand that is still clinging to his wrist and squeezes it tightly in warning. If you rebel, you can be sure that he will break your bones with a single grip.

“No…! NOOO!” You answer in a voice mixed with panic and frustration, reluctantly accepting your defeat.

“Good!” He smiles as he releases your hand and you abruptly place it back on the armrest to hold yourself as if your life truly depended on it.

“Now…” He continues in a soft, husky voice. Relax and look closely at my eye, miss (Y/N). Focus on my voice and my eye."

You do exactly as he ordered. You notice that his visible yellowish eye changes color: rings of varying colors moved around his thin pupil. Your gaze remains fixed, captivated by his eye and you begin to enter a trance. You could only see colors dancing around you and only Black Hat's voice can be heard in your ears.

"Surrender to me, mi quérida. Surrender to your Lord and master!"

"Yes, my Lord." You answer in a whisper, now completely under Black Hat's spell.

"Very well. Now tilt your head back."

You obey.

He then brings his large mouth towards your abused neck and slides his reptilian and rough tongue on the bloody line he drew on you earlier.

A moan escapes your mouth at the contact of his tongue.

The villain smiles at your reaction. Without delay he sinks his sharp mint green fangs into your skin, making you tear out a cry of surprise. Tears flow from your cheeks as Black Hat sucks your blood. He lets out a muffled and animalistic moan when he feels the sweet taste of your life essence slip into his throat. Fuck! It had been an eternity since he drank human blood. Of course he doesn't need it to survive but he must admit its taste and smell are so intoxicating.

He unclenches his teeth from your neck and licks the drops of blood from your bite before straightening up. With a snap of his fingers, he releases you from your trance.

You whistle painfully and immediately bring your hand to your neck which is causing you martyrdom.

"What is it…? What did you do to me?" You ask disconcerted.

"Don't worry, my dear. My mark will disappear from you in a few hours…" He says reluctantly.

He would have preferred to keep his mark on you forever to make you understand that you belong to him. "It would be a shame to get into trouble on your first day." He adds mischievously.

You immediately understand who he is referring to: A certain green-haired lizard woman who will not hesitate to kill you if you approach her dear beloved boss.

"Now go! You have to get ready and go to sleep because tomorrow your first day will be intensive!"

"Yes, sir!"

This writing idea came to me this morning at work during a discussion with one of my clients and inspired me for this story without knowing it! I thank her for that! 😊
