Why black car service is preferred by corporate circles?
Corporate companies are known by their popular logos, catchy marketing slogans or punch lines, and the glitz associated with the brand. They are instantly recognized when people see their logos displayed prominently in a market place, cross roads and other convenient places. The glitz and glamour must be maintained all the way to impress clients, customers and associates so they maintain the same standards and grab attention wherever they go. However not all corporate companies keep fleet of high-end luxury black cars or limousines in their pool so they seek corporate limousine service in Atlanta from reputed car rental companies. Practically keeping a bevy of limos and swanky SUVs is not economical hence it is preferred to hire them from car rental companies operating in Atlanta and are specialists in supplying fleet of limousines and SUVs.
Here we chronicle why corporate house opt for rented limousine services
They know the way around
Car rental companies providing top class transport to corporate guests depute chauffeurs to navigate the luxury transport. A chauffeur is a resourceful individual who know every nook or cranny of the city and what routes to choose during peak hours so traffic could be avoided. They will easily find destinations or addresses with consummate easy and free you off the trouble of giving directions to them. This is a big plus because corporate guests may not know the location of the places they have to reach. This is quite useful when a corporate office receive a guest from outstation.
Relaxed journey
The travel in a luxury car is always comfortable and relaxing. The experience is enhanced when a chauffeur is driving the car not you. As corporate guest you can relax and take a nap or do paper work at the back without being disturbed.
Great airport pickup service
Guests arriving at the airport may be in a dilemma on how to hire a car or taxi which is decent enough to travel and reach the destination in utmost safety. Buy it is made easy by the chauffeur who know guest protocol and conveniently flag them at the airport terminal and bring them back to the safety of corporate office or hotel room.Â
Punctual service
A rented limousine or SUV is always on time whether it is to pick you at the airport or take you to the airport to catch a late night flight. Punctuality is the virtue that makes car rental companies compulsory for such services.
Why Black car service?
When you need luxury cars or limousines for rent where do you get them? It is obvious that corporate clients always provide SUVs or Limos to facilitate their guests, top officials and shareholders. You will not find a better source than a black car service Atlanta as they will provide you with a excellent range of black cars, limos and sprinter vans. The color black in high end vehicles represent power, affluence, and sophistication and it suits the corporate.

A freeway interchange as "urban renewal" in Atlanta
by Darin GIvens | Dec 9, 2024
This area, immediately south of Downtown Atlanta, is bounded on the north by Memorial Drive, on the east by Fraser Street, on the south by Fulton Street, and on the west by Central Avenue.
First photo: 1949 (GSU Digital Collections)
Second photo, showing the same area: 2024 (Google Maps)
This is part of the area dubbed Washington-Rawson during the post-WW2 Urban Renewal period. It wasn't the name of a distinct, existing neighborhood -- it was a name for a project that defined the blocks to be demolished for new development. The original plan appears to have been to displace the current population and build a place for wealthier (and whiter) residents. probably to compete with suburban flight.
It was, of course, a horrible plan that erased neighborhood fabric and uprooted thousands of residents, hitting immigrant and Black communities the hardest. The fact that it didn't actually turn out as hoped is small comfort. What did get built instead was a giant I-75/85/20 interchange, cutting off communities from each other and from walkable access to many destinations.
The following are passages from Daniel Judt's âLimitations of the Past: Atlantaâs Stadium and Atlantaâs Image, 1960-2015.â Yale Historical Review (Spring 2015)
"While the press and the Hartsfield administration maintained that clearing Washington-Rawson would get rid of one of the cityâs worst slums, some saw the area as merely lower-middle class. Washington-Rawson was not a single neighborhood, but an intersection of two streets within the parameters of the urban renewal project. (Renewal projects were often named after streets.) The project pulled from parts of three neighborhoods: Summerhill, Mechanicsville, and Peoplestown" "[Mayor Ivan] Allen thought there would certainly be interest in developing an upper-middle class residential community that could link to a modernized downtown. By 1959, much of the Washington-Rawson site had been leveled...Residents of Mechanicsville and Peoplestown, the two neighborhoods directly affected by the program, saw 3,261 living units dismantled; over 3,000 individuals and families were removed." "...His plan for an area flush with businesses had, by 1963, ground to a halt. Vast amounts of land had been cleared, but the city could not find private developers interested in buying up the area. The project had lost space due to the construction of the messy intersection of Interstates 20, 75, and 85. The intersection was supposed to give the greater Atlanta region easy access to the CBD, but instead awkwardly cut off the remaining urban renewal land from the shopping district. Citizens in their cars would likely head straight home rather than traipse into downtown."
We can't entirely undo the bad plans of the past, but we can use better intentions to mitigate their impact and create good urbanism in every possible space. The few pedestrian passages that do exist near this interchange should be excellent environments for walking, and cycling (they currently are not).
Each neighborhood affected by this gulf of asphalt should be given every bit of public help available to be a complete urban space with its own shopping districts, parks, and affordable housing. Looking at the Mechanicsville neighborhood for instance (it lies immediately south of the area pictured above), one still sees a lot of empty land where buildings used to be. Looking at the neighborhood on the cityâs GIS mapping tool, you can see the parcel divisions that used to be homes and more:
And Downtown, which became cut off from other parts of the city by the interstates, needs thousands of new residents to help it become a more self-sufficient place that relies less heavily on weekday commuters and events goers in order to achieve the level of vibrancy a downtown should have; and to take advantage of the high level of transit service and walkable streets here.
Making mistakes is something that all cities do at some point (though this kind of mistake is particularly egregious and worthy of scorn). Another thing cities do is make corrections -- we can do it by adding life to dead spaces and by redesigning the public realm of our streets, with an eye on equitable outcomes. Itâs past time that we address the mistakes of Atlanta's Urban Renewal period in a comprehensive way that lifts up our neighborhoods above the detritus of car-centric, racist, and classist actions.

If everyone got to escape the computer for one (1) day, what would everyone want to do with their time? Together, or individual?
Optional if you put Gordon in the game or keep him irl lol
I feel like that's a conversation that they would have together. Something hypothetical that comes up when they're just hanging out, you know? Maybe on a rainy day, where Gordon's not feeling up to any games, and they're all just chilling together in voice chat.
___
"I think... I would want to have lunch."
Bubby snorted. "Lunch."
"Hey, it's achievable!" Gordon defended Tommy's choice. "I like it better than Benrey's plan to test if he can clip through my walls. But, uh. You do have lunch in there."
"But it's not your lunch," Tommy returned. "I don't have food from your-- from where you are! I want to see if it tastes different."
Gordon's eyebrows raised. "Huh. I never really thought about that."
"Now that's a fine idea!" Coomer lit up. "Gordon, isn't there a soda museum one state over from here? I think we could all make fine use of that, comparing flavors."
Tommy shook his head. "The World of Coca-Cola museum in Las Vegas was only open for a few years. We'd have to go all the way to... to the Atlanta one if we wanted to see the tasting room."
"Not that the trip from New Mexico to Nevada is a quick little jaunt," Gordon added. "If we only had a day to spend together, I'd hate to spend ten hours in the car."
Bubby huffed, crossing his arms. "Fine. I guess we'd have to rob a casino somewhere in this state instead."
"Oh, Atlanta's where they got the puppet museum, right?" Benrey joined in. "That's cool."
"If you want-- actually, y'know what? Air travel would be a new experience for at least a couple of you. We could take a plane to the east coast."
Bubby pointed to Coomer. "Good luck getting this one through the TSA. Metal detectors fear him."
The bionic boxer puffed up with pride, pleased with this description. "Now Gordon, I think there would be no better way to spend our time together than fistfighting airport security."
"Alright. So on our list, we've got: rob a casino, spend all of Gordon's money on cross-country plane tickets, get Gordon on the no-fly list, and potentially lose my security deposit," Gordon gave a dry review. "Anyone have any ideas that don't involve the neat getaway plan of going back into the computer? Because some of us don't have that option."
There was a moment of quiet thought.
"You know that scene with the mall from the movie with the sunglasses brothers? I think Bubby should--"
"Benrey, that is the opposite of what we should do."
"Come onnnn, it's not like anyone goes to malls anymore."
"...I've got something."
Darnold's voice was quiet, but it caught the attention of the group.
"Yeah?" Bubby prompted. "Alright, what've you got?"
"There's, um." Darnold hesitated. "I've looked into this before, actually. I've looked up the coordinates of the Black Mesa research facility... well, where it would have been, if it was real. Gordon, did you know it's only about an hour's drive away?"
Gordon blinked. "I did not. Figured it would be deeper into the desert."
"What's there now?" Tommy asked. "Is it, um, an old government site? For missile testing?"
"I bet it's a quirky and mysterious ghost town!" Coomer contributed. "Full of intrigue and quirky locals!"
Darnold shrugged. "Actually, it's... nothing. Not nothing nothing, Doctor Coomer. Just a lot of, y'know. Dirt. Plants. Bad cell service. And a nice view of the mountains."
There was no right way to respond to that information, really. Darnold seemed increasingly uncomfortable as their friends and companions couldn't find a reply.
After a minute, Tommy spoke.
"That sounds really nice," he said.
"Thanks."
"I know that's... I mean, I'm the one who said I wanted to eat lunch, but..."
"No, I agree," Coomer nodded. "I think I'd like that very much, Darnold."
"I wanna see it too," Benrey agreed. "S'like, closure or something. Bubby?"
The older scientist seemed to be lost in his own head. "I'm not sure," he admitted. "I'm not sure."
"...There's also a nicely reviewed winery on the way," Darnold added coyly. "I wouldn't mind checking that out, either."
Bubby gave a light smile. "Well, I wouldn't mind that. If Gordon didn't mind the gas money and all."
"Wouldn't mind a bit."
__
Might go a bit like that, I think! Oh and when they got back from standing in the desert and sampling wine, Gordon would take them to the coolest damn art installation in Santa Fe. They'd all love it.
#gordon streamman#haha get minific'd idiot#...youre not an idiot thank you for planting this idea#i visited new mexico a total of one times and now i act like an expert on the place#i'm not. but that's one more times than many hlvrai fans so!#i have been to the puppet museum and world of coke in atl tho.#they have an italian soda there that tastes like a nintendo switch cart#hlvrai#why not main tag#my works

Part 2 of my "What if The Seeds Went On To Live Normal, Happy lives?" fic
By the time Joseph and Genevive got to Atlanta, Joseph was optimistic and equally nervous about this venture. It had been a long time since he had seen his little brother and they had so much to catch up on. He wanted nothing more than to embrace him just as he did the last day they were together, but his heart also stirred with anxiety. Was John just as excited and hopeful as Joseph was? Or would he be angry that Joseph couldn't keep their family together? Joseph and Jacob had always loved their little brother dearly and from the moment he was born, they had always been his protectors. But what kind of protector couldn't keep a sweet, innocent child from being torn from his family?
Joseph sighed to himself as he made his way up the long driveway, he could feel his palms getting sweatier with every foot he drove toward the large, imposing house. He parked his 1989 Ford Taurus outside, scooped up a sleeping Genevive, and walked towards the front door, admiring the impeccable brickwork of the house along the way. Joseph tried to gather himself, his heart racing in his ears. He rang the doorbell and his heart raced faster and faster until the solid oak door swung open and Joseph's heart rate finally slowed.
Joseph gazed at the man before him, hair slicked back, black jeans, a dark blue dress shirt, and a black vest. The man was impeccably dressed compared to Joseph's old stained t-shirt and faded blue jeans. He could hardly believe it was him, but there was no mistaking it, this was his baby brother, all grown up. Joseph opened his mouth to say hello but all that came out was tears when John put his arms around him, not saying a word. "I've missed you Joseph," he said, tears welling up in his eyes. "I've missed you too John" Joseph replied, giving his brother a firm hug. John welcomed him in and sat him down in the living room. They chatted for a long time, exchanging life stories.
John even got to hold Genevive for the first time and just melted on the inside. But as John gently rocked his niece, he asked Joseph about his wife. Joseph explained the car crash and her death, causing John to hold his hand as Joseph began to cry, his loss still weighing heavily on his heart. Joseph had spent his childhood being the loving guidance that John never had in any adult in his life, and now it was John's turn to be that same loving guidance towards his brother in his time of need. After getting him some tissues and rubbing his back, Joseph's tears dried.
After getting Joseph and Genevive settled in, the Seed brothers laid out their plan to find their oldest brother, Jacob. John had managed to find out some information about Jacob, such as his military service and his less-than-honorable discharge due to undisclosed mental health struggles. But after that, Jacob seemed to have just disappeared off the map. Where could he be? Was he dead? Was he living under a bridge somewhere? John was stumped, he just didn't know how to proceed. But it was Joseph who suggested looking in homeless shelters. Joseph himself had been homeless for a good two years before, and he knew there was a sizable population of homeless veterans in the area. If Jacob had mental health struggles, he reasoned, it's a possibility that he might be homeless as a result. It certainly was the case with many of the veterans he had met. John agreed, it would be a start at the very least.
The next day the three of them set off back to Rome to go look for Jacob. They first checked the spots that Joseph used to hide away at when he was homeless but to no avail. But after a lot of asking around and describing Jacob's most basic features, they finally found a lead, which led them to a homeless shelter. John held Genevive close to him as he made his way around the shelter, trying carefully to not let the homeless touch either of them. But Joseph was used to this harsh reality, and it didn't phase him. he asked around until finally, someone offered to bring him to a man matching Jacob's description.
John followed close behind, and soon they had found him. "Jacob?" Joseph cautiously asked. Jacob's eyes looked up through his dirty, long hair to meet Joseph's, and their eyes instantly clicked. Jacob shot up from his cot where he was laying. "J-Joseph? Is that really you Joseph?" he asked nervously, not sure if he was dreaming. But the calmness and softness in his voice was unmistakable. He put his arms around Joseph and gave him a familiar tight squeeze as tears welled up in his eyes. "I-I thought I would never see you again" he sobbed. John joined in on the hug and Jacob put his arms around them both. "John? Oh, my sweet baby brother!" Jacob exclaimed as he joyfully planted a kiss on John's forehead.
John smiled and looked up at his oldest brother again for the first time in years. "We've come to take you home Jacob" he said as a joyful smile crept across his face. Jacob's face fell, "there is no home for me" he said. Joseph held his hands and squeezed them tightly. "Jacob, a wise soul once told me, 'As long as we're together, we're home.' Do you remember who said that?". Jacob looked down, "I did. I said that to you and John when we had to sleep in our tree fort in the woods to get away from dad. But it's been so long, and I've failed to protect you like I promised I always would" he reasoned. Joseph pulled him into a hug. "We as humans can only do so much Jacob, what happened is not your fault. We love you and we will never be separated again".
Now reunited, the Seed brothers return to John's home where John gets Jacob all cleaned up and Joseph makes them all a good meal. With his family reunited, Joseph's heart starts to ache a little less knowing his brothers are loved and cared for. Before digging in to their meal, Joseph says grace and thanks God for giving him the strength to reunite his family.
Part 3 coming up next!

Freaknik: The Musical | March 7, 2010 - 11:30PM | Special
Whither That Crookâd âSipp?Â
Freaknik: the Musical! A special that Iâm ill-equipped to truly go deep on because 1) I am a cracker-ass and 2) I live in a hell of my own making and sometimes it's far too difficult to tune out. Oh well! Iâll give it a shot, yuh know? See what happens! Also: I pledge to not google anything about this, so I will be speaking from my threadbare knowledge of the subject at hand.
Freaknik is based on a real-life recurring block party, or outdoor music fest, or something like that, held, uh, probably annually in, Iâm guessing, Atlanta, Georgia. It probably has rap stuff going on and people probably have a lotta fun listening to live music and attempting to find sex partners among it's many attendees. I have gleaned this from the special itself, as well as the fact that when you search for this to see if itâs playing on any streaming services youâll instead find a documentary called âFreaknik: a big party that happensâ or something like that.Â
This special follows a likable rap group who are down on their luck. They intend to travel to the big event so they can compete in some battle of the bands type thing. The party is happening because Freaknik, a ghostly personification of the party itself, has sprung back to life. I forget how. Heâs a black ghost with money signs all over himself and hes real charismatic. He embodies good times, blackness, and above all, love. We see him going on a publicity tour, while a council of hater-ass black establishment figures (including mostly unidentified-but recognizable figures like Oprah, Jesse Jackson, Bill Cosby, and Al Sharpton) all scheme to stop Freaknik once and for all.Â
The rap group have little adventures along the way, such as a memorable stop at a white frat. They tangle with a rival rap group, who look just like them. They meet a car full âo bitches and a brand new bong. One of the "bitches" is a character from That Crookâd âSipp, but with a different name. There is almost no continuity between the two specials, just reused assets. Thatâs probably a best case scenario for That Crookâd âSipp, which is maybe one of my least favorite things Iâve ever watched on Adult Swim. This is far from the worst thing. In fact, itâs fairly solid.Â
That Crookâd âSipp felt like it was speaking an alien language, and was borderline incomprehensible. This doesnât feel that way. But, and I mean this in a non-insulting way, this show doesnât feel like itâs for me. Itâs a flavor I have a bit of a shallow distaste for. This is ultimately a good thing! I like when shows get on the air that are very specific and meant to appeal to a certain segment of the population.
I could quibble with the humor here and there, but I donât think this special was designed with specifically pleasing me in mind. So why donât I focus on the positive, instead? In fact, why doesn't everyone do this when faced with stuff that's not specifically for them? Okay , here I go: the characters are colorful! A lot of the drawings are great, funny, and cartoony! Even when it felt like it was about to veer into broad, stereotypical humor, it still pleasantly surprised me by aiming higher! It wasnât boring, and a lot of the songs were pretty goddamn great!Â
I actively enjoyed three moments in particular. One was the bit where Tyra Banks goes undercover as a corpse. This was a parody of the time she went undercover as an obese person utilizing a fat suit. (whoops, I googled this, just because I thought maybe I was confusing her with the episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air where Will did that. Wait, wasnât she on that show? Aw, geez!)
Moment two: the frat bros, who have their party shut down by the cops (youâll hear famous white people Andy Sandburg and Bill Hader in this scene). When the cops leave, they lament being targeted by them, but then one says âI kinda like cops though, because they found the guy that killed my mom.â This right here is my favorite line in the show.Â
The other part I liked, which I recalled from watching this way back when, was the scene where Al Sharpton is watching the news report that he died in his home after being struck by lightning. He looks around quizzically and then it happens. A lotta really fun cartoon gags like that are in this! I respect it!
Not my favorite thing to air on Adult Swim; not by a long shot. But the more I think about this show, especially its final act, the more I think that this special is pretty undervalued and underseen, and thatâs a real shame. I honestly think that Adult Swim really should try to bring this back at some capacity. Maybe repeat it with a special promotion? Maybe a sequel? Maybe thereâs a reason for it's absence that has nothing to do with Adult Swim or their parent company. But I think if they pushed this back out into the world and tried to get more eyes on it, only good things would come.Â
MAIL BAG:Â
From KON:
The funniest thing I ever said in my life was about Freaknik: The Musical. The special aired on the same night as the Oscars that year, the year that The Hurt Locker FAMOUSLY upset Avatar and won best picture. When the winner was announced, at one point they cut to James Cameron looking pissed. I said, "he's mad because he's missing Freaknik." Thank you, thank you
BIG LOL. I really do hope that he DVRâd it. And that he didnât get it on DVD, because the DVD looks like shit. I hope he DVR'd it, or had a 1080p webrip from cartoonchaos on his seedbox.
THANK you for your neon knome review. As one of five people on planet earth who actually likes the problem solverz I'm glad to see another fan out there. Granted, PS was nowhere near as good as Neon Knome (even one of Ben Jones' own friends said it was 'too shouty'), but it's definitely not like, "Consistently and infamously ranked the worst cartoon of all time among a large amount of people" bad. Most of the hate seems to be from people who hate the brash art style and think the colors hurt their eyes, and from people who think that Alfe is annoying. I'll give them the latter, but like you said the style is very deliberate and I like how... 'visceral', it is, for lack of a better word. I unironically feel it was just too ahead of it's time and aired on the wrong network. This was when tumblr normies were geeking out over Adventure time, so something like this freaked them the F out and it stuck cause of word of mouth. Kinda like how Freddy Got Fingered was called 'the worst movie of all time' until pretty recently. I think if Neon Knome came out 15 years later, on [AS] in it's original form, people would love it. Cruelty Squad has like 10,000 positive reviews on Steam and it's just as visually abrasive/experimental as this is.
Thanks! Hopefully Criterion Channel will add Problem Solverz to itâs line-up so we can properly reassess itâs place in the culture at large. It does feel like if it got deleted by Zaslav that nobody in the world (except you and me, I guess) would stick up for it. People all snarkily saying âat least he got this one rightâ. The snark would be off the charts. The snark charts.
