I love how Wild Blue Yonder lives up to its literal name; it's absolutely wild and scary, has blue aesthetics all the way through, and is happening at the very edge of the universe on a spaceship with a self-destruction button at the distant end of the tunnel.
It's spooky. (I like spooky. Big spooky fan me.) It's blue. It's happening in such a remote part of space where no human has ever been before. It's insane. And I absolutely love it 💙
Have you noticed how the first TARDIS lights option was orange (as if it was a remnant after Thirteen), and Fourteen changed it to blue? It's obviously his favourite colour, even his new sonic and his new coat are blue. 🥹💙
Just look at his face, at first it's like in "Oh, you've redecorated... I don't like it" scene from The Day of The Doctor, until he changes it:
I think it's quite clear that Beep the Meep kind of resembles the Gremlins (which makes sense because the movie itself was actually released in 1984 - after the original comics Doctor Who and the Star Beast that was released in 1980). But the Meep also reminds me of Meap from Phineas & Ferb...
Just think about it; all of these creatures basically have an alter ego that looks much cuter and weaker than their other self.
