At this point all I'm asking (with absolute trust in hori) that before this all ends is that izuku and kacchan FINALLY talk and hold hands because this has been building up long enough it's fully marinated lol it can't soak up or cook anymore and that we get izukus introspection back ALL his thoughts other wise I'm going to be very very confused about this whole manga

I know I’m so lasered in on bkdk that I don’t often talk about togachako, but one of the things I’ve noticed this time around is how often Toga will lump Izuku and Ochako together when she’s talking about the people she loves. As far as Toga is concerned the two of them are interchangeable nearly from the beginning. If she means she loves Izuku romantically (as much as she’s able to understand it), then she’s also saying she loves Ochako romantically.

And it will never not floor me that Toga straight up compares Izuku and Ochako’s relationship to her own with Jin, then says immediately after how Jin was like a brother to her. In canon someone compared izu*cha to a sibling relationship. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the way bkdk and togachako are written feels incredibly intentional. If they haven’t been building up to an eventual canon ending then this is the cruelest longest running fake out of all time

some people might have pointed this before when it came out but since I just have read the jp raws, I decided that it’ll be nice to point it out again!

and it’s about MHA chapter 403! especially this particular panel!

to begin with, I have a little knowledge about kanjis in japanese language since I’m still learning them but this particular line really really intrigued me.

which is this japanese line and its english translation:

when I first studied japanese, the common knowledge that I know was feelings, or thoughts translates to 思い in japanese, not 想い. that’s why it intrigued me. what does 想い mean? basically, it has the same meaning as 思い— feelings, or thoughts, which is why the direct translation was “feelings.”

however, that’s not the case in japanese language.

we know that different kanjis yet same word means different in japanese. for example: if it's hayai 早い, it means “early,” and if it's hayai 速い, it means “fast.” both having the same hiragana, はやい yet different meaning in different contexts.

so after researching (link), I found out that 想い is much more personal than the norm 思い. its much more deeper in the sense of “feelings” for someone special.

which is why we can conclude that during this panel of katsuki being revived, looking at izuku and izuku locking eyes with katsuki, “their feelings become one” is much deeper sense that only the two of them would know because it is something that only the two of them had shared.

time stopped. raindrops stopped falling. just them looking at each other. they are sharing the same heart and mind. (izuku implicitly telling toga that his idea of love is sharing the same heart and mind on chapter 348). and finally, their feelings become one.

As MHA is nearing towards the end, the hate it's getting it's getting worse, especially for bkdk. Both as a fan pairing (which every series has) and as individuals. Katsuki keeps being reduce to chapter 1, totally ignoring all he has grown and learn, and Izuku gets reduce to being a victim. Or not a "perfect victim". They tried to project their own experiences into him and how he "should" react towards Katsuki's bullying. 😑

The hate is so forced, it's ridiculous. 🙃 Can't wait for Hori to shut them up. (Knowing full well they aren't going to be pleased with anything. 😒)

just read the last MHA chapter forreal and LMFAO everyone saying it's so awful but like. What did you expect? You honestly expected better than this? Bc that is wild to me. Mid ending for a mid series. Bakugo remained fucking homosexual as hell toward Deku all the way to the end which personally that's all I wanted and so I feel like I won here.

Revisiting Voltron and hot take: Allura isn't actually that bad?

Like I remember very vividly when Voltron was airing, and people *hated* her. Like, you know the scapegoat in fanfics, the one that has to be mean? That was Allura. And you know, it's mean.

Yes, Allura was fantasy racist. Which is bad. But were we all too caught up in our little Keith angst to notice Alluras story? She had her family killed by Galrans, and then a half-galran pilots the lion her own father piloted. And she never got the chance to grieve because of the cryostatus. It basically just happened for her. It's a good plot point, but because everyone needed a character to hate, Alluras story got lost.

Allura also got in the way of Klance. I remember how adamant people were about shipping, so if one character got in the way they were dead. People liked Keith better, and with Allura as the competition there was no way for her to win. Which is stupid. Because Allura is a great character.

Also Hunk x Keith is better/hj

HI i just wanted to let u know that i just finished reading up to the most recent chapter of The Art of Falling, and im absolutely positively mindblown. im just in awe. the way you write their dynamic so accurately like they possessed you or something,, the buildup to their feelings ?? especially katsukis—it was so satisfying that i can’t imagine how else it would go!??? u captured this au so perfectly i couldnt tear my eyes away for even a second
