Its my birthday

Its been a very rough year, was in a coma, almost homeless, starving and home dysfunction.. I posted a while back asking for guidance in the challenges I've been facing. This week I was feeling very grateful for where I am today. Thinking about my last two birthdays pretty devastating stuff happened. I've been waiting for today to pamper myself and enjoy all the things today. To reflect on things, feel the strength and power within myself. But something has triggered me yesterday, I'm finding it very hard to focus on myself and carry out my goal for today, and feel good about myself. Can anyone tell me what satanic special things you've done for yourself on your birthday.. recommend a meditation or something to refocus? I want to celebrate myself today without this emotional garbage currently happening.
