vanessa’s gotten a bit more used to not having sejeong around as much– but it doesn’t change the fact she still doesn’t like it. she doesn’t complain about it as much, choosing to spend as much time with sejeong as she can when the girl is free from filming at times. the one and only positive thing about sejeong not being at the dorms as much, is that vanessa has time to plan for a birthday gift.

she decides on a custom made baseball styled jersey– with sejeong’s name stitched on the back, as well as the year of her birthday. it’s pink with red and white accents; it’s something she had seen shopping online earlier in the month and been quick to request a custom made one for sejeong. it had come in early in the week, thank god. she packages it in a cute yellow gift bag, leaving it on sejeong’s bed while she’s out filming. she leaves it with a note, smiling to herself as she readies herself to sleep.

the note reads:

’ to our collective girlfriend sejeonggie~~ happy birthday!! i hope you like this! i saw it and immediately thought of you. our home run~ i love you! i owe you a birthday smooch! ps: there’s food in the fridge if you’re hungry! happy birthday! ’ noted with vanessa’s signature scribble and a messily drawn smiley face with a chu~ written cutely on it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sejeong hasn’t exactly warmed up to the fact that she hasn’t been able to see the other girls as much lately due to filming, but she keeps on taking time to remind herself that she’s proud of what she’s doing, that eventually when the show starts airing, it’ll be worth it because they’ll get to see her acting on the screen, so it’ll be a little like she’s there, even if she isn’t.

After being surprised by Doyeon at the door and an impromptu piece of cake procured by the same member, Sejeong quietly crept into her shared room, trying not to wake up Hyuna and Jinah.  Using the light of her phone so she doesn’t wake the other girls up by turning on the room light, she changes into her sleepwear, only then noticing the yellow gift bag on her bed.  Sneaking the bag and herself back out to the living room, she turns on one of the small lamps to take a look at the gift, curious as to what it was and who it was from.

Reading the note, Sejeong can’t help but smile warmly, Ness was always sweet, but she had really noticed it even more lately.  She then went into the bag and pulled out the gift and her mouth dropped open in shock, especially seeing the customization on the back of it.  She was extremely touched by this and went to put it on over the light t-shirt she would wear to bed before pulling out her phone.  She quickly took a picture of her in the jersey making a kissing face, and then sent a text message to the sleeping singer.  The picture attached, she wrote “Thank you so much for the jersey!  I’ll wear it with pride!  And for the lovely note too! I will eat well and then next time I see you, I’m going to collect that birthday smooch!”

He was getting closer to the ruins, judging by the blip on his handheld map that moved faster with each step he was taking. Finally after what had felt like an entire day of traveling and deciphering clues that led to this place, he pushed open the mighty doors at the top of equally grand stone stairs, fully expecting opposition on the other side--- only to be met with a table (or maybe an altar of some kind; he couldn’t tell) in the middle of the room and a cake with a single lit candle. Absolutely nothing and no one else was in sight. Damn it. He ought to have seen this coming. 

The man responsible for the entire ordeal then materialized next to the table a second later and Eron could almost see the grin hiding beneath the metal mask. As to how or where Revan managed to acquire the cake, he didn’t really want to know. “...So, there’s no real ‘mission’ or Sith artifact, is there?” He quietly huffed, hands on his hips, slightly unamused at the plan Revan had devised, but there was no real anger behind his tone or the look he was giving the ghostly figure. 

“What’s the lesson I’m supposed to learn here? How to waste my time?” His face remained annoyed as moved towards the table, his expression turning into a small smile when he stopped merely a foot away. “Heh. Thanks anyway, old man. I appreciate it. Didn’t think you’d remember.”
