Cw: fem!reader, You two are married, unnamed child- just called "little peanut, baby, buddy"

Synopsis:

The father and son duo set out on a mission while making that they don't wake you up. Operation "Make mama happy on her special day" is a go!

Quiet thuds of footsteps can be heard outside the master bedroom, as the door creaks open, allowing a small boy no older than 3 to enter.

You lay on the bed with your husband, both of you too deep in sleep to hear the slight creak of the door and the approaching footsteps. Satoru holds you close, snoring peacefully before he was rudely awaken by a smack to his face.

He groans and peeks his eyes open, only to see a little boy with white tufts of hair struggling to get on the bed. Little huffs are heard from his son once he sat on his father's lap. "Papa, morning!" His son beams with enthusiasm, wrapping his small chubby arms around Satoru's neck. "Good morning to you too little peanut. Remember what day it is?" He boops his son's tiny nose, receiving a giggle in response.

"Mama!" He points at you whilst giggling, Satoru's surprised you haven't woken up from all his giggles. "That's right! It's mama's birthday day, and we need to prepare a gift for her!" Satoru gets up from bed with his son in his arms, careful not to wake you up. "Time to set out for a special mission! We're gonna buy Mama some flowers, and then we make her a delicious breakfast!" The boy claps in return, seeming to love the idea.

Satoru turns on the light of the washroom, and settles his son on the counter. He grabs two brushes and helps his son brush his teeth along with his own. The little boy gurgles, following his dad's movements.

Once the two were done getting ready, they set off to fulfill their mission of getting you flowers. Satoru holds his son close to keep him warm from the chilly morning air, as his son waves at passerbys, greeting them a good morning with a smile.

"Oh how adorable!" Two women coo as the little peanut greets them, leaving off with giggles. "Well aren't you a ladies man" Satoru teases, lightly pinching his son's tiny nose, earning a laugh from him.

Finally able to spot a flower shop, the bell rings, signalling the entrance of the father and son. The old lady by the counter greets them both, as they start to look around for the perfect bouquet. Satoru sets his little peanut down, letting the boy take lead in picking his mom's flowers.

His son explores around the store. Eyes shining in amazement with all the beautiful flowers. Curiosity brimming in his blue eyes as little fingers touch the petals of flowers. He skips through aisles, not finding any flowers that is suitable for his mom, until his eyes catch a certain batch of flowers at the end.

"Papa!" His short legs running to his dad and tugging on his pants, catching the attention of his dad. "What is it buddy? Found the one?" Satoru chuckles, following his son as he continues to pull his pants.

He is brought to a batch of flowers that have the same color as your eyes, with blue flowers on the side. He ruffles his son's head, as his little peanut starts picking the flowers for the bouquet.

Once his son was satisfied, they go up to the counter. Small hands reach out to the lady, handing her the flowers. "Oh what a refined young man!" The old lady coos, getting the flowers to wrap it around. "For mama!" He says cheerfully, giving a smile- taking pride of his gify. "I'm sure your mama's gonna love it" the old lady says, handing the prepared bouquet to his child while Satoru pays for it.

Holding the bouquet close, the little boy gives one last wave to the kind old lady before making their way back home.

Once opening the doors of the house, Satoru checks the time. "One more hour before your mama wakes up. Let's go make her breakfast quick!" He sets his son down, and places the bouquet on the table. "Pancake! Pancake!" His son says enthusiastically, hopping his way to the kitchen.

Satoru sets every ingredient, gets the stool for his son, and wears the matching apron he has with his son. "Alright little peanut, your in charge of adding the ingredients and mixing it all together!" He looks down, the boy claps in response.

The cooking session begins, with the little peanut putting all the ingredients in, and Satoru taking reign with whatever his son couldn't do. "Alright! Mix it up and then we can put it on the pan!" Satoru goes to prepare the stove, taking his sight off his son.

The little peanut follows his dad's instruction, mixing the batter up- a few spills here and there- before curiosity got the best of him. He dips his hand onto the batter, and lifts it up. Opening his mouth to taste the liquid, before he was stopped by his dad. "Ah ah ah, not yet. It tastes much better when it's cooked, promise!". Satoru says, bringing his batter filled hand onto the sink, washing away the mess.

After wiping his small hands, Satoru grabs the batter and sets it beside the stove. His little peanut whines behind him, reaching his arms out to his dad, wanting to help in flipping the pancakes. Satoru carries him onto his hip "Are you gonna help papa with this too?", his son nods enthusiastically.

Satoru pours batter onto the pan and grabs the spatula, letting his son grab the handle as he guides him in cooking the batter. His big hands fully engulfing his son's, as he guides him in cooking the pancake. When it was ready to be flipped, his little peanut makes a noise of surprise and slightly jumps, before breaking into a fit of squealing and clapping his hands once he did first pancake flip.

The two continue to cook the remaining batter. His child having a short celebration after every flip, filling the kitchen with squeals and laughs.

After decorating the pancake, Satoru heads upstairs with his child still on his hip, his small head resting on his shoulder. "You gotta look cute for mama" he gently pinches his baby cheeks. Entering his son's bedroom with toys scattered all over the floor- reminding himself to clean it later- he sets his son down and looks through his closet. A wide variety of clothes, from all your shopping spree, Satoru looks around for the perfect fit. Baby clothes ranging from sleep wear to formal attires, he continues to skim through each section before finally finding what he was looking for.

"Buddy, come here! Let's go impress mama" Satoru calls out for his son who was playing on the matt with his toys. Footsteps and light panting heard behind him, turning around to show his chosen attire. A mini suit with a black bow tie.

A squeal comes out of his child, running away once he saw the clothes he hated to wear the most. "Hey, get back here!" Satoru plays along, running behind him as his son makes an escape. Squeals and laughs heard all throughout the room, as the boy kept running away from his dad. Satoru started to get tired, and time was slowly running out, so he decided to play dirty.

The little peanut lost sight of his dad, continuing to run around, until Satoru suddenly appeared infront of him. Not being able to turn in time, he was caught in his dad's arms. "Ah- Noooo!" His little peanut pouts, struggling in his hold. "Come on buddy, mama's gonna wake up soon."

After struggling to dress him up, his son whines pulling the collar. "Out!" He whines, wanting to get out of his dreaded suit. "I know little peanut, you just have to show it to mama and then you can take it off!" Satoru promises, fixing the bow tie and the crinkles of the suit. His promise seemed to work as his son stopped struggling, only giving a few huffs.

The two leave the room, and go back to get the pancakes and flowers. Satoru carries the tray of your breakfast, as your son carries the bouquet- his head barely seen above all the flowers.

Your eyes slowly open as the sunlight hits your face. Reaching the space beside you, your left confused when met with an empty space rather than your husband. Just as you sit up, ready to see what he was up to, the door slams open. Your surprised to see the things your boys have brought, feeling your heart flutter from happiness.

"Happy Birthday to you~" Satoru sings, setting the tray on the table and helping his son get up on the bed. The scent of flowers hit your face as your presented a beautiful bouquet by non other than your baby. "Oh you boys make me the happiest woman in the universe" you softly say, accepting the flowers. Your heart feels like exploding when your son hugs you and gives you a sloppy kiss on the cheek.

"You look extra cute today, baby" you coo at your son, fixing the bow tie. "Thank you mama!" Your son giggles, giving you another messy kiss on the cheek. You hold your son close as you feel Satoru kiss your forehead, presenting you the breakfast they made with hard work.

"Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman in the world!~" you chuckle before giving him a peck on the lips. "Thank you my loves" you give both your boys a peck on the cheek.

Your son picks up the fork and clumsily gets a piece of the pancake. He brings it up to your face, cheering when you eat it. The morning continues as you three stay in bed, basking in the warmth of your two favorite boys.

This has got to be your best birthday morning.
