My take is that the SG and normalverse bots were actually born the same color, and got different paintjobs because they have different tastes. It's like wearing clothes. Maybe the same about the optics in continuities with more diverse optic/biolight colors or where they can be changed? Or maybe the SGs just were born with different optic/light colors to distinguish them?

Neither's canon colors are necessarily their birth colors, though that can be the case sometimes (ex. Shockwave would have been born purple because he'd think painting himself would be illogical/wasteful/pointless, and Megatron was propably born grey because he's a mass-produced cold-construct and Terminus was also grey).

Oh now that's cool as hell!

We exactly see mecha changing their paintjobs in several continuities, so it makes sense. Plus, I mean same goes for optics (think tfp Megatronus > Megatron, tfa wasp in the flashbacks and in present day, have I mentioned before that sometimes the rid15 mecha's optics change color with their scanned camo paintjobs?) so we can always roll with that

Birth colors is a whole ass scenario because there's just. So much room for fun there.

Lambert, or as he prefers to go by his lastname, Karré, is another member of 'team Bolognese' and uses a Sloshing Machine Neo. He is also a bit of a health nut, often hanging around Marchew bugging him to make this new recipe he found online. Curiously he is still a regular at Crusty Sean's Foodtruck, some squids swear Karré alone is responsible for 15% of Sean's shake sales. He occasionally does some advertisment for him, even!

Larima :

A calm and sweet Inkling, altough a bit shy. Only near Laya, her Childhood friend, she is more confident and outgoing. She is very caring towards her Friends, but becomes an absolute Ice Queen if someone messes with them.

Her parents are Sea-Biologists, occasionally bringing Larima to their workplace. She also adopted a Super Sea Snail that they found injured and took care of. Larima is very self-conscious of her Birthcolor, and mostly tries to cover it up as good as possible with brighter colors such as Lime Green.

Larima is a Charger user with the most flexible role of the Team. Her aim is precise and she can be seen all around the arena, constantly switching positions. She and Zircon have a small competition of who gets the highest number of Splats (with Larima winning most of the time).

Time for Citrin Rutace, a member of team YEMS. She uses chargers of all kinds, but prefers the E-Liter models. She used to be on Camille's team as a roller user, but after Citrin got into a car accident that left her with a bad back injury (also forced her to switch from rollers to chargers), she had to take a break to recover. She went to the country side where she met Ambra and Topas, with who she would form a new team. Camille and her are dating.

Ceriumon is a Virus-Variant of Piyomon and the Rookie-level for Saberdramon. The cross-shaped scar on his chest is unique to this Ceriumon, nicknamed Swirls (which he HATES), though. Back when he was a Saberdramon, he used to terrorize a Numemon village. Until he had a run-in with Marty and Skuamon. He swore revenge ever since.
