Yup BFDI’s 15th Anniversary is on January 1st! As it marks the first episode release on New Year’s Day on 2010! And now it’s been 15 YEARS since its arrival! (Note, BFDI actually started as a comic in 2008 called Total Firey Island.)

And to say that BFDI is popular is absolutely correct! Not only has it garnered enough popularity, but influenced, impacted and inspired a whole generation of indie animators, artists, writers and much more of the 2010s enough to create their own versions called Object Shows! And a whole dedicated and highly respected community at that called the Object Shows Community or OSC for short! Battle For Dream Island has been a success and continues to be with 3-5 running seasons, merchandise, and having a whole office and building space to do work on!

Dear Michael, Cary, the BFDI, A and BFB + TPOT team, thank you for not only creating many great childhoods, memories, moments and iconic rememberable characters but for impacting, inspiring and influencing many people around! I love Battle For Dream Island & will always continue to love this series for not only making me wanting to do animation and art but to also create a legendary series in either game, animation or comic format.
